Description
(1):本発明の一態様に係る配光制御装置は、光学センサを含む複数のセンサの検出結果をもとに認識される自車両前方の物体の認識結果に基づいて自車両の運転支援を行う運転支援装置から、前記運転支援のために行われる支援動作の作動状況を示す情報を取得する取得部と、自車両の前照灯の出力レベルの変更を含む配光制御を実施する配光制御部と、を備え、前記配光制御部は、前記支援動作の作動に伴って前記前照灯の出力レベルの変更を緩やかに実施するものである。
[全体構成]
図1は、実施形態に係る運転支援装置100を利用した制御システム1の構成例を示す図である。制御システム1は、移動体に搭載される。以下の説明では、移動体は、一例として車両であるものとする。車両は、例えば、二輪や三輪、四輪等の車両であり、その駆動源は、ディーゼルエンジンやガソリンエンジンなどの内燃機関、電動機、或いはこれらの組み合わせである。電動機は、内燃機関に連結された発電機による発電電力、或いは二次電池や燃料電池の放電電力を使用して動作する。
運転支援装置100は、例えば、記憶部110と、制御部120とを備える。制御部120は、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit)などのハードウェアプロセッサがプログラム(ソフトウェア)を実行することにより実現される。また、これらの構成要素のうち一部または全部は、LSI(Large Scale Integration)やASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)、GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)などのハードウェア(回路部;circuitryを含む)によって実現されてもよいし、ソフトウェアとハードウェアの協働によって実現されてもよい。プログラムは、予め運転支援装置100のHDDやフラッシュメモリなどの記憶装置(非一過性の記憶媒体を備える記憶装置)に格納されていてもよいし、DVDやCD-ROMなどの着脱可能な記憶媒体に格納されており、記憶媒体(非一過性の記憶媒体)がドライブ装置に装着されることで運転支援装置100のHDDやフラッシュメモリにインストールされてもよい。
配光制御装置300は、例えば、記憶部310と、制御部320とを備える。制御部320は、例えば、CPUなどのハードウェアプロセッサがプログラム(ソフトウェア)を実行することにより実現される。また、これらの構成要素のうち一部または全部は、LSIやASIC、FPGA、GPUなどのハードウェア(回路部;circuitryを含む)によって実現されてもよいし、ソフトウェアとハードウェアの協働によって実現されてもよい。プログラムは、予め運転支援装置100のHDDやフラッシュメモリなどの記憶装置(非一過性の記憶媒体を備える記憶装置)に格納されていてもよいし、DVDやCD-ROMなどの着脱可能な記憶媒体に格納されており、記憶媒体(非一過性の記憶媒体)がドライブ装置に装着されることで運転支援装置100のHDDやフラッシュメモリにインストールされてもよい。
図2は、実施形態の配光制御装置300が実施する第1の配光変更処理の流れの一例を示すフローチャートである。まず、ADB制御部322は、AEBシステム、AESシステム、およびFCWシステムの運転支援機能のうちの少なくとも1つの運転支援機能において支援動作が作動中であるか否かを判定する(ステップS101)。
図3は、実施形態の配光制御装置300が実施する第2の配光変更処理の流れの一例を示すフローチャートである。図3において、第1の配光変更処理と同様の処理については図2と同じ符号を付すことにより説明を省略する。第2の配光変更処理は、ADB制御部322が、ステップS107に代えて、ステップS201およびS202を実行する点で第1の配光変更処理と異なる。
図5は、実施形態の配光制御装置300が実施する第3の配光変更処理の流れの一例を示すフローチャートである。図5において第2の配光変更処理と同様の処理については図3と同じ符号を付すことにより説明を省略する。第3の配光変更処理は、ADB制御部322が、ステップS301~S304の処理をさらに実行する点で第2の配光変更処理と異なる。

Claims (6)
- 光学センサを含む複数のセンサの検出結果をもとに認識される自車両前方の物体の認識結果に基づいて自車両の運転支援を行う運転支援装置から、前記運転支援のために行われる支援動作の作動状況を示す情報を取得する取得部と、
自車両の前照灯の出力レベルの変更を含む配光制御を実施する配光制御部と、
を備え、
前記配光制御部は、前記支援動作の作動に伴って前記前照灯の出力レベルの変更を緩やかに実施する、
配光制御装置。 - 前記前照灯は配光の変更が可能であり、
前記配光制御部は、前記支援動作の作動に伴って前記前照灯の調光を実施する場合、認識された前記物体の将来の位置を予測し、前記物体の予測位置方向において前記前照灯の出力レベルの変更を緩やかにする、
請求項1に記載の配光制御装置。 - 前記配光制御部は、前記前照灯の出力レベルを変更したことにより、前記物体の認識に係る画像特徴量が、前記物体の認識することができない程度に変化した場合、前記前照灯の配光を変更前の状態に戻す、
請求項1または2に記載の配光制御装置。 - 前記配光制御部は、前記前照灯の配光を変更前の状態に戻した後、前記物体の認識に係る画像特徴量が、前記物体の認識することができるまでに復旧した場合、前記物体の認識を行う物体認識装置に対して、前記光学センサの検出結果を除く検出結果に基づいて前記物体の認識を行うように指示する、
