このように、本発明によれば、鋼管矢板の連結継手等、数mm単位で方向を合わせる必要のある場合でも、鋼管接続時に連結継手の方向の位置を正確に合わせた状態で、簡単に接合継手1の回転を固定することができ、施工時間を大幅に短縮することができる。
なお、上記の実施の形態では、逆回転防止用と正回転防止用の両方のタップ孔7a、7b及びこれに対応する傾斜面部5a、5bを設けた例を示したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、逆回転防止用のタップ孔7aとこれに対応する傾斜面部5aのみを設けた場合も従来例にない効果を奏するので、発明の範囲に含まれる。
また、タップ孔及びこれに対応する傾斜面部をそれぞれ2個設ける例を示したが、これらをそれぞれ3個以上設けた場合も、更に確実な効果を奏するので、発明の範囲に含まれる。

前記外側継手管の回転防止用のタップ孔は、管軸に対して直角方向で、管の半径方向に貫通してなり、
前記内側継手管は、前記外側継手管を嵌合させた際に、前記タップ孔に対応する位置に、螺合逆回転方向ほど深さが深くなるように傾斜する傾斜面部であって、周方向の長さが前記回転防止ボルト径よりも長く設定された逆回転防止用の傾斜面部と、螺合正回転方向ほど深さが深くなるように傾斜する傾斜面部であって、周方向の長さが前記回転防止ボルト径よりも長く設定された正回転防止用の傾斜面部と、を有し、
