Description
laser-based light sources)に対する光変換器の信頼性は、当該光変換器の効果的な冷却に強く依存する。したがって、光変換器(例えば、蛍光体)と熱放散構造(ヒートシンク)との間の信頼性のある効果的な熱結合を可能にすることが必要である。さらに、変換器の温度を上昇させて光変換器の効率を低下させる光学的損失を回避すべきである。
<300nm、より好ましくはRa <150nm、最も好ましくはRa <30nmの表面粗さをもたらすようにする。セラミック光変換器は、焼結された「細孔密度(pore-dense)」であり、少なくとも1つの表面上で、高屈折率材料と低屈折率材料が交互になったダイクロイックコーティング(dichroic coating)で被覆されてもよい。ダイクロイック層は、一方側で、入射一次光の反射を減少させ、入射一次光に対する反射防止コーティングを生成する一方、光変換器の他方の側では、ダイクロイック層は、一次光の反射を増加させ、光変換器の結合表面上に本発明の狭帯域反射器を生成するように構成される。
Instituteによって規定された色度の規格である。ほとんどの自動車ヘッドライトは、上記のように5700 Kレンジを使用している。或いは、6000 Kの色温度を使用することも可能である。上述のようなレーザベース光源を含む車両ヘッドライトは、高品質の白色光の提供を支持することができる。

Claims (9)
- 光変換装置であって:
光放射表面と該光放射表面の反対側に結合表面とを有し、一次光を変換光へと変換するように構成された光変換器であり、前記変換光のピーク放射波長が前記一次光のピーク放射波長よりも長い波長範囲にある、光変換器;及び
前記光変換器の前記結合表面の少なくとも一部に結合された反射構造であり、前記光変換器の前記光放射表面を通過する当該光変換装置外部への透過のために当該反射構造に衝突する前記一次光の少なくとも55%を反射し、当該反射構造に衝突する前記変換光の少なくとも50%を透過するように構成された狭帯域反射器である、反射構造;
を含む光変換装置。 - 前記光変換器は結合層によってヒートシンクに機械的に結合され、前記ヒートシンクはミラー構造を有し、前記ミラー構造は該ミラー構造に衝突する前記変換光の少なくとも90%を前記光変換器へと反射するように構成され、前記反射構造は前記光変換器の前記結合表面と前記ミラー構造との間に配置される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光変換装置。 - 前記反射構造は、前記結合層が前記反射構造と前記ミラー構造との間に配置されるように、前記結合表面上に堆積された少なくとも1つの層を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光変換装置。
- 前記反射構造は、前記結合層が前記反射構造と前記光変換器との間に配置されるように、前記ミラー構造の頂部に配置される少なくとも1つの層を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光変換装置。
- 前記結合表面は、前記光変換器の光放射表面と反対側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光変換装置。
- 前記反射構造は誘電体ミラーを備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光変換装置。
- 前記ミラー構造は、前記光変換器の隣の前記ヒートシンクの一方側上に堆積された銀層を含む、請求項2に記載の光変換装置。
- レーザベース光源であり:
前記一次光を放射するように構成された少なくとも1つのレーザ;及び
請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の光変換装置;
を含む、レーザベース光源。 - 請求項8に記載のレーザベース光源を含む車両ヘッドライト。
