Absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, pantiliners, adult incontinence pads or fecal pads are attached to the inside of the wearable article worn by the wearer in use. The fastening tape is folded in three at this folding portion. The extension is releasably adhered to the base by a weak adhesive surface. The adhesive part of the extension part can adhere to the backsheet of the absorbent article at the time of disposal due to its strong adhesive surface.

As a result of intensive studies, the inventors of the present application have found the following problems with regard to post-processing tape members. That is, conventionally, it has not been assumed that the post-treatment tape member gives the wearer a sense of discomfort. However, it has been found that part of the tape member may come into direct contact with the wearer's skin due to the edge portion of the sheet near the post-treatment tape member being turned up while the absorbent article is being worn.

In addition, in absorbent articles attached to the wearer's clothing, such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, adult incontinence pads, or fecal pads, the absorbent article is pushed against the wearer's skin by the clothing. Therefore, the tape member may cause discomfort.

In particular, in an absorbent article attached to underwear such as shorts, the absorbent article is curved in a round shape according to the roundness of the buttocks. Arranging a tape member having a relatively high rigidity in such a curved region may give the wearer a more uncomfortable feeling.

Therefore, an absorbent article having a tape member capable of suppressing discomfort is desired.

An example of a specific configuration of the absorbent article of the present embodiment will be shown.
