電子ビーム源を用いる場合、走査機構174は磁石等から構成され、ベースプレート114上の造形面の任意に位置に電子ビームを照射することができるように構成される。

Claims (6)
- 造形物を製造するためのAM装置であって、
造形物を製造するための空間を画定するチャンバと、
前記チャンバ内に配置される、造形物の材料を支持するベースプレートと、
前記ベースプレート上の材料にビームを照射するためのビーム源と、
造形物の三次元データからビームの照射位置を決定する計算機と、
決定された照射位置に従ってビームを移動させる走査機構と、
前記チャンバ内に照射されたビームの照射位置を検出するための検出器と、
決定された照射位置と、検出された照射位置とを比較する評価器と、
を有し、
前記AM装置は、造形物の製造に先立って、前記造形物の材料が存在しない状態において、前記計算機により決定されたビームの照射位置に従って前記ビーム源および前記走査機構を動作させてビームを照射し、前記検出器により検出された照射位置と前記計算機により決定されたビームの照射位置とを前記評価器により比較するように構成されている、AM装置。 - 請求項1に記載のAM装置であって、
照射するビームの強度を調整するための調整装置を有する、
AM装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載のAM装置であって、
前記ビーム源は、レーザー源である、
AM装置。 - AM装置におけるビームの照射位置を試験する方法であって、
AM装置で製造する造形物の三次元データを用意するステップと、
前記三次元データに基づいてビームの照射位置を決定するステップと、
前記造形物の材料が存在しない状態において、前記決定されたビームの照射位置に従っ
てAM装置を動作させてビームを照射するステップと、
照射されたビームの位置を検出するステップと、
前記決定されたビームの照射位置と、前記検出されたビームの位置とを比較するステップと、
前記造形物の材料が存在する状態において、前記決定されたビームの照射位置に従ってAM装置を動作させてビームを照射するステップと、
を有する、
方法。 - 請求項4に記載の方法であって、
前記ビームを照射するステップは、AM装置で造形物を製造するときに照射されるときのビーム強度よりも小さいビーム強度で行われる、
