Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an oil-in-water cosmetic composition, and more particularly, an oil-in-water cosmetic composition that has high safety and a fresh feeling in use, as well as high water resistance, detergency, and formulation stability. about things.
In general, oil-in-water cosmetics have an aqueous phase as an external phase, so that they spread well and easily provide a fresh feeling when used, but have a feature of less clogging feeling due to oil. On the other hand, water-in-oil type cosmetics tend to spread slowly because the external phase is an oil phase, but they are known to have effects such as providing an emollient feeling unique to oil and imparting water resistance due to the oil film. there is These dosage forms are used properly according to the feeling of use and effect desired, and are applied in many cosmetics.
On the other hand, protecting the skin from damage by ultraviolet rays is one of the important issues in skin care. Various studies have been made to minimize the adverse effects of ultraviolet rays on the skin. For example, there is a report on a method of protecting the skin from damage caused by ultraviolet rays by covering the skin with a coating film containing an ultraviolet absorber or an ultraviolet scattering agent (Non-Patent Document 1).
In order to achieve a high SPF (Sun Protection Factor) value in an oil-in-water emulsion system, it is necessary to blend a large amount of an oil-soluble UV absorber or UV scattering agent. When these are highly blended, not only does the fresh feel characteristic of oil-in-water emulsified systems be lost, but also stickiness and squeakiness occur, resulting in poor feel during use.
If the UV absorber is used in a large amount, it causes skin irritation, which poses a problem of safety, and causes stickiness and a bad feeling in use. (Patent Document 1) On the other hand, UV scattering agents are said to be safer than UV absorbers. (Patent Document 2) However, the UV scattering agent has a poor feel when used, and many problems arise in terms of feel during use, such as a squeaky feeling, whiteness when applied, and stickiness. There is no mention of feeling, and it cannot be said that the task was accomplished.
In addition, from the viewpoint of maintaining the effect of preventing ultraviolet rays, there are many needs for water resistance such as resistance to sweat and water, and many products labeled as waterproof or super waterproof are on sale. Water resistance and super waterproof labeling can be displayed by conducting a water resistance test in accordance with the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and COLIPA (European Cosmetic Industry Association) standards and clearing the standards. be.
(特許文献3) Generally, a water-in-oil emulsion system having an oily outer phase is used as a means for increasing water resistance. However, the water-in-oil type emulsified system has problems such as stickiness and oily feeling during use, and inferior skin care effects such as moisturizing effect. Furthermore, since it exhibits oil film blocking properties, it is not preferable for mixed skin or oily skin, and there is a problem that it exacerbates sebum troubles such as shine and acne. On the other hand, the oil-in-water emulsified system in which the outer phase is aqueous has a good feeling in use and does not exhibit oil film occlusion, but has a problem in the durability of the UV protection effect due to its poor water resistance. (Patent document 3)
As described in Patent Documents 3 and 4, it is known that blending an oil, a resin component, or a polymer compound with a high water-repellent effect is a means of increasing water resistance. Since it is limited to polymers and resins, it cannot be said that it has completely solved the problem because it is not versatile. In addition, when water resistance is imparted by such a method, it may be difficult to remove the cosmetics with a normal detergent. Furthermore, in an oil-in-water emulsified system, these components are likely to be unstable, and problems may arise in stabilizing the formulation. In other words, in addition to high water resistance and formulation stability, detergency that allows cosmetics to be removed with detergents commonly used at home is also required at the same time.
In view of the above, there has been a demand for a cosmetic composition that is highly safe, has a fresh feel when used, and also has high water resistance, detergency, and formulation stability.

As can be seen from Tables 1 and 2, Examples 1 to 13 of the present invention have good stability, high safety, fresh feeling in use, and high water resistance by blending components A, B, C, D, and E. It has been found to provide excellent cleaning properties and effective cleaning properties.
According to Examples 1 and 2, the water resistance varies depending on the component A, and the higher the amount, the better the water resistance. Feeling of use, stability, and cleanability are reduced. Regarding Examples 4 and 5, these are the results of experiments with component B. The greater the amount of component B blended, the better the water resistance. Stability and detergency are reduced. Examples 8 and 9 are experimental results when the surface treatment of component B is different, and although the effect can be exhibited only when triethoxycaprylylsilane-treated powder is used, there is a slight sense of use and stability. decrease in sexuality. Examples 6 and 7 are the results of experiments with component C, and when the amount is large, the stability is improved and the detergency is improved, but the feel of use and water resistance are slightly reduced. Especially in Examples 1, 8, and 10, remarkable effects have appeared in all items.
Referring to Table 3, Comparative Examples 1 and 2 are examples in which pendant type polyether-modified polysiloxane copolymers were used, but both resulted in poor water resistance and poor stability. . Comparative Example 3 is an example in which zinc oxide and titanium oxide that have not been hydrophobized are used, but results in poor water resistance, stability, and feel during use. Comparative Examples 4 and 5 are examples in which component C was replaced with other surfactants, but resulted in problems in stability and detergency.
