Claims (10)
- 観客が視聴するための仮想現実コンテンツを処理する方法であって、
ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)プレイヤによるインタラクションに関連付けられた仮想現実ストリームをサーバで受信することであって、前記HMDプレイヤは、仮想現実環境をナビゲートするように構成され、前記仮想現実環境の前記ナビゲートは、HMDプレイヤビューを有する前記仮想現実ストリームを生成する、前記仮想現実ストリームを受信することと、
観客のデバイスを介して、前記観客のHMDを用いて前記仮想現実ストリームを視聴する要求を、前記サーバで受信することと、
前記サーバが、前記観客の前記HMDのために、前記仮想現実ストリームのフィードを前記観客の前記デバイスに送信することであって、前記仮想現実ストリームの前記フィードは、前記仮想現実環境のHMD観客ビューを提供する、前記仮想現実ストリームのフィードを前記観客の前記デバイスに送信することと、
前記サーバが、前記仮想現実環境の前記HMD観客ビューをギア比率に従って調節することであって、前記ギア比率は、前記HMDプレイヤが前記仮想現実環境をナビゲートする時、前記HMD観客ビューが前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う速度を規定する、前記仮想現実環境の前記HMD観客ビューを調節することと、
を含み、
前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う前記HMD観客ビューは、前記HMDプレイヤが動く速度よりも遅い速度で動き、
前記ギア比率は、前記HMD観客ビューが前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う時の遅れを提供し、前記遅れは、前記HMD観客ビューの動きを前記HMDプレイヤビューの動きよりゆっくりに変化させ、前記HMDプレイヤビューは、前記HMDプレイヤが、前記仮想現実環境をナビゲートまたは移動しながら、前記HMDプレイヤの前記HMDを実世界空間で動かすと、前記HMDプレイヤが制御する速度で移動する、方法。 - 前記ギア比率は、前記仮想現実環境で遭遇するコンテンツに基づいて、前記サーバによって動的に調節される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ギア比率は、前記観客の好みに基づいて、前記サーバによって動的に調節される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ギア比率は、前記HMD観客ビューが前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う時の、動的に調節可能な遅れを提供し、前記動的に調節可能な遅れは、前記HMD観客ビューの動きの速度を、前記HMDプレイヤビューの動きに対して変化させ、前記HMDプレイヤが、前記仮想現実環境をナビゲートまたは移動しながら、実世界空間で前記HMDプレイヤの前記HMDを動かすと、前記HMDプレイヤビューは、前記HMDプレイヤによって制御される速度で動く、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 観客が視聴するための仮想現実コンテンツを処理する方法であって、
ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)プレイヤが装着したヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)によるインタラクションに関連付けられた仮想現実ストリームをコンピュータで処理することであって、前記HMDプレイヤは、仮想現実環境をナビゲートするように構成され、前記仮想現実環境の前記ナビゲートは、HMDプレイヤビューを有する前記仮想現実ストリームを生成する、前記仮想現実ストリームをコンピュータで処理することと、
観客のHMDに関連付けられた要求であって、前記観客のHMDを用いて前記仮想現実ストリームを視聴する前記要求を前記コンピュータで受信することと、
前記コンピュータが、前記仮想現実ストリームのフィードを前記観客の前記HMDに送信することであって、前記仮想現実ストリームの前記フィードは、前記HMDプレイヤがナビゲートしている前記仮想現実環境のHMD観客ビューを提供する、前記仮想現実ストリームのフィードを送信することと、
前記コンピュータが、前記仮想現実環境の前記HMD観客ビューをギア比率に従って調節することであって、前記ギア比率は、前記HMDプレイヤが前記仮想現実環境をナビゲートする時、前記HMD観客ビューが前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う速度を規定する、前記仮想現実環境の前記HMD観客ビューを調節することと、
を含み、
前記HMDプレイヤビューの後を追う前記HMD観客ビューは、前記HMDプレイヤが動く速度よりも遅い速度で動き、

- 観客が視聴するための仮想現実コンテンツを処理するプログラム命令を有するコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)プレイヤが装着したヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)によるインタラクションに関連付けられた仮想現実ストリームをコンピュータで処理するプログラム命令であって、前記HMDプレイヤは、仮想現実環境をナビゲートするように構成され、前記仮想現実環境の前記ナビゲートは、HMDプレイヤビューを有する前記仮想現実ストリームを生成する、前記仮想現実ストリームをコンピュータで処理する前記プログラム命令と、
観客のHMDに関連付けられた要求であって、前記観客のHMDを用いて前記仮想現実ストリームを視聴する前記要求を前記コンピュータで受信するプログラム命令と、
