Claims (22)
- 放電ガスを収容すると共に、前記放電ガス中に発生したプラズマを維持するためのレーザ光である第1光が第1光軸に沿って入射する第1開口、及び、前記プラズマからの光である第2光が第2光軸に沿って出射する第2開口が形成された筐体と、
前記第1開口を気密に封止し、前記第1光を透過させる第1窓部と、
前記第2開口を気密に封止し、前記第2光を透過させる第2窓部と、
前記第1光軸と前記第2光軸との交点を挟んで互いに向かい合う第1電極及び第2電極と、を備え、
前記筐体は、前記第1光及び前記第2光を透過させない遮光性材料により形成されており、
前記筐体、前記第1窓部及び前記第2窓部によって内部空間が画定されており、前記内部空間は、前記放電ガスによって満たされており、
前記第1開口及び前記第2開口は、前記第1光軸と前記第2光軸とが互いに交わるように配置されている、発光封体。 - 前記第1窓部は、前記第1光を透過させる第1窓部材を有し、前記第2窓部は、前記第2光を透過させる第2窓部材を有している、請求項1に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1窓部材及び前記第2窓部材は、互いに同じ材料により形成されている、請求項2に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1窓部材及び前記第2窓部材は、互いに異なる材料により形成されている、請求項2に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1窓部材及び前記第2窓部材の各々は、平板状に形成されている、請求項2に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1窓部材及び前記第2窓部材の各々は、ダイヤモンド、サファイア、石英、コバールガラス及びフッ化マグネシウムの少なくとも1つを含む材料により形成されている、請求項2に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1窓部は、前記筐体に気密に固定された第1枠部材を更に有し、前記第2窓部は、前記筐体に気密に固定された第2枠部材を更に有し、
前記第1窓部材は、第1接合材により、前記第1枠部材に気密に接合されており、前記第2窓部材は、第2接合材により、前記第2枠部材に気密に接合されている、請求項2に記載の発光封体。 - 前記第1接合材及び前記第2接合材の各々は、金属ロウ材である、請求項7に記載の発光封体。
- 前記金属ロウ材は、チタンがドープされた銀ロウである、請求項8に記載の発光封体。
- 前記筐体は、金属材料により形成されている、請求項1に記載の発光封体。
- 前記筐体は、絶縁性材料により形成されている、請求項1に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1電極は、絶縁部材を介して前記筐体に固定され、前記筐体から電気的に分離されている、請求項10に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1電極は、所定方向に沿って延在しており、前記所定方向における前記第1電極の一部である第1部分と、前記第1部分よりも前記第2電極の近くに位置する第2部分と、を有し、
前記絶縁部材は、前記第1部分を保持し、前記所定方向に垂直な平面に沿って延在する表面を有する本体部と、前記本体部の前記表面から延在し、前記第2部分を囲む筒状部と、を有している、請求項12に記載の発光封体。 - 前記本体部の前記表面は、粗面化されている、請求項13に記載の発光封体。
- 前記本体部の前記表面には、前記第1電極及び前記筒状部の各々から離間するように凹部が形成されている、請求項14に記載の発光封体。
- 前記本体部の前記表面には、前記第1電極に接触する一方で前記筒状部から離間するように凹部が形成されている、請求項14に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1電極は、所定方向に沿って延在しており、
前記絶縁部材は、前記所定方向における前記第1電極の一部を囲む被覆部を有している、請求項12に記載の発光封体。 - 前記被覆部は、前記第2電極に近づくにつれて厚さが薄くなる形状を有している、請求項17に記載の発光封体。
- 前記被覆部の外周面は、粗面化されている、請求項18に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第2電極は、前記筐体に電気的に接続されている、請求項10に記載の発光封体。
- 前記第1電極は、第1絶縁部材を介して前記筐体に固定され、前記筐体から電気的に分離されており、前記第2電極は、第2絶縁部材を介して前記筐体に固定され、前記筐体から電気的に分離されている、請求項10に記載の発光封体。
- 請求項1に記載の発光封体と、
前記第1光を前記第1光軸に沿って前記第1開口に入射させる光導入部と、を備える光源装置。
