Claims (15)
- 先導端と、反対側の追従端と、前記先導端と前記追従端の間を延びている上部と、前記先導端と前記追従端の間を延びている下部と、
を備えている脊椎融合インプラントであって、
前記上部は、前記先導端に隣接して配置されている第1部分、前記追従端に隣接して配置されている第2部分、及び当該上部の前記第1部分と前記第2部分の間を延びている少なくとも2つのレールを含んでおり、
前記下部は、前記先導端に隣接して配置されている第1部分、前記追従端に隣接して配置されている第2部分、及び当該下部の前記第1部分と前記第2部分の間を延びている少なくとも2つのレールを含んでおり、
前記上部の前記少なくとも2つのレールは、少なくとも部分的に平滑化された骨接触面を含む第1レールと、骨接触面を含む第2レールとを含んでおり、
前記下部の前記少なくとも2つのレールは、少なくとも部分的に平滑化された骨接触面を含む第1レールと、骨接触面を含む第2レールとを含んでいる、
インプラントにおいて、
前記上部の前記第1レールと前記下部の前記第1レールは隣接する椎骨間の円板空間の中への前記インプラントの挿入を容易にし、前記上部の前記第2レールと前記下部の前記第2レールは前記隣接する椎骨間の所定位置に前記インプラントを保持する働きをし、
前記インプラントは互いに対向する第1側部及び第2側部を更に備えており、前記第1側部は前記先導端と前記追従端の間及び前記上部と前記下部の間を延び、前記第2側部は前記先導端と前記追従端の間及び前記上部と前記下部の間を延びており、
前記上部と前記下部の間の、骨成長促進物質を受け入れるための中空キャビティ、を更に備え、
前記インプラントは前記第1側部の第1開口及び前記第2側部の第2開口を更に備えており、前記第1開口及び前記第2開口は前記中空キャビティへのアクセスを提供しており、前記第1側部は前記第1開口の周囲の少なくとも一部分を形成する縁に隣接して平滑化された表面を含み、前記第2側部は前記第2開口の周囲の少なくとも一部分を形成する縁に隣接して平滑化された表面を含み、前記第1側部及び前記第2側部は粗化された表面を有する部分を含んでいる、
脊椎融合インプラント。 - 前記インプラントは、前記上部の前記第1レールと前記第2レールの間を延びている少なくとも第1横部材及び第2横部材と、前記下部の前記第1レールと前記第2レールの間を延びている少なくとも第1横部材及び第2横部材と、を更に備えており、前記上部の前記第1横部材と、前記第2横部材と、前記第1レールおよび前記第2レールの一方とが、前記上部を貫く第1開口を画定し、前記下部の前記第1横部材と、前記第2横部材と、前記第1レールおよび前記第2レールの一方とが、前記下部を貫く第1開口を画定している、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記上部を貫く前記第1開口と前記下部を貫く前記第1開口のそれぞれは、前記インプラントの中空キャビティと連通しており、前記上部の前記第1開口、前記下部の前記第1開口、及び前記中空キャビティを通って骨融合が起こることになる、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、前記上部の前記第1部分と前記第2部分の間を延びている第3レールを更に備えており、前記上部の前記第2レールは前記インプラントの第1側部に隣接して配置され、前記上部の前記第3レールは前記インプラントの第2側部に隣接して配置され、前記上部の前記第1レールは前記上部の前記第2レールと前記第3レールの間に配置されている、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、前記下部の前記第1部分と前記第2部分の間を延びている第3レールを更に備えており、前記下部の前記第2レールは前記インプラントの第1側部に隣接して配置され、前記下部の前記第3レールは前記インプラントの第2側部に隣接して配置され、前記下部の前記第1レールは前記下部の前記第2レールと前記第3レールの間に配置されている、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントの前記先導端と前記上部の前記第1レールの前記骨接触面と前記下部の前記第1レールの前記骨接触面の一部分は、付加金属製造プロセスと研磨プロセスの一方を使用して平滑化されている、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記上部と前記下部と前記第1側部と前記第2側部の一部分は、骨の内部成長をもたらす粗化された表面を有している、請求項1に記載のインプラント。

インプラントにおいて、
前記上部の前記第1レール及び前記下部の前記第1レールは少なくとも部分的に平滑化された骨接触面を含んでおり、前記上部の前記第2レール及び前記第3レール並びに前記下部の前記第2レール及び前記第3レールは骨接触面を含んでおり、
前記上部と前記下部の間の、骨成長促進物質を受け入れるための中空キャビティ、を更に備え、

- 前記インプラントの前記先導端と前記上部の前記第1レールの前記骨接触面と前記下部の前記第1レールの前記骨接触面の一部分は、付加金属製造プロセスと研磨プロセスの一方を使用して平滑化されている、請求項8に記載のインプラント。
