Description
a)行に対応する仕切り壁を上方に移動させてディスプレイの垂直視野角を制御し、
b)列に対応する仕切り壁を上方に移動させてディスプレイの水平視野角を制御し、又は、
c)行及び列に対応する仕切り壁を上方に移動させてディスプレイの水平視野角及び垂直視野角を制御する
ようにプロセッサ502により実行することが可能である。
Claims (5)
- 複数の隔置された発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージを有するバックプレーンと、
該複数の隔置されたLEDパッケージの各々を仕切るために支持フレームワークにより配置された一定形状の仕切り壁を有するプライバシーゲートであって、ディスプレイが通常モードで動作する場合に前記一定形状の仕切り壁は支持フレームワーク内に配置され、プライバシーゲートは複数の交差する行及び列の一定形状の仕切り壁により形成される格子形状の構造であり、及び各LEDパッケージが、前記複数の交差する行及び列の前記一定形状の仕切り壁により画定されるそれぞれの空間内に収容される、プライバシーゲートと、
該プライバシーゲートの上方に配置された光学フィルムと
を含むディスプレイと、
該ディスプレイの視野角を制御するように前記複数の隔置されたLEDパッケージに対して前記一定形状の仕切り壁を選択的に上下に移動させるための制御ユニットと
を備え、前記バックプレーン、前記プライバシーゲート、および前記光学フィルムは互いに平行であり、前記プライバシーゲートは前記光学フィルムと前記バックプレーンの間で上下に移動できる、電子デバイス。 - 前記光学フィルム上に配置された基板を含み、該基板がガラス基板又はプラスチック基板である、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記制御ユニットが、
前記ディスプレイの垂直視野角を制御するように前記行に対応する前記一定形状の仕切り壁を前記支持フレームワークおよび前記複数の隔置されたLEDパッケージに対して上下に移動させ、
前記ディスプレイの水平視野角を制御するように前記列に対応する前記一定形状の仕切り壁を前記支持フレームワークおよび前記複数の隔置されたLEDパッケージに対して上下に移動させ、又は、
前記ディスプレイの水平視野角及び垂直視野角を制御するように前記行及び前記列に対応する前記一定形状の仕切り壁を前記支持フレームワークおよび前記複数の隔置されたLEDパッケージに対して上下に移動させる、
請求項1または2に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記光学フィルムが、非対称転向フィルム、非対称プリズムフィルム、プリズムフィルム、輝度上昇フィルム(BEF)、デュアル輝度上昇フィルム(DBEF)、ディフューザ、偏光子フィルム、位相差フィルム、又はそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記制御ユニットが、複数のプライバシーモードに対応する複数の位置に前記一定形状の仕切り壁を移動させることにより前記ディスプレイのプライバシーの度合いを制御し、各プライバシーモードが、他のプライバシーモードとは異なる視野角を有する、請求項1から4のいずれか1に記載の電子デバイス。
