Description

The present invention relates to an improvement in a fragrance composition that masks the chlorine odor derived from hypochlorous acid.

It is known that weakly acidic hypochlorous acid water has an excellent sterilizing and deodorizing effect, and that effect is maintained even when sprayed into the atmosphere.
Hypochlorite water is effective for preventing infections such as food poisoning caused by influenza, norovirus, Escherichia coli, etc., and for eliminating the odor of sweat and tobacco adhering to the body, clothes, automobile seats, and the like.
However, since hypochlorite water is accompanied by a chlorine odor, it is conceivable to mask this chlorine odor with a fragrance.
Please refer to Patent Document 1 as a prior document that discloses a technique related to the present invention.

Japanese Patent No. 4558653

However, since hypochlorous acid has a deodorizing effect in the first place, there is a possibility that the fragrance is decomposed by the action of hypochlorous acid and the fragrance cannot be scented as expected. This also means that hypochlorous acid may be consumed and reduced in the decomposition of fragrances, and the original sterilizing and deodorizing ability may not be exhibited.

Therefore, the fragrance used in combination with hypochlorous acid water has excellent durability against hypochlorous acid, does not adversely affect the sterilizing and deodorizing ability of hypochlorous acid, and further, the atmosphere together with hypochlorous acid water. When sprayed inside, it must be possible to give a suitable fragrance while suppressing the chlorine odor.
As a result of diligent studies to achieve this problem, the present inventor has found the following fragrance composition.
That is, the fragrance composition according to the first aspect of the present invention is:
Alcohol: 2-8% by mass,
Fragrance component: 0.1-1.0% by mass,
Water and auxiliaries to be added as needed: consisting of the balance
The fragrance composition is characterized by containing cineole and menthol as the fragrance component.

Here, the blending ratio of cineole and menthol is preferably 56 to 80% by mass: 7.5 to 20% by mass, more preferably, when the total mass of the fragrance components contained in the fragrance composition is 100% by mass. The blending ratio is 60 to 70% by mass: 10 to 20% by mass.
Here, both cineole and menthol are stable against hypochlorous acid. As a result, the sterilizing and deodorizing function of hypochlorous acid is maintained for a long time. In addition, when cineole and menthol are used in combination in the above range and sprayed into the atmosphere together with hypochlorous acid water, the chlorine odor of hypochlorous acid is well masked, and the attached scent is also given to the user. Does not cause discomfort.
When the blending ratio of cineole and menthol deviates from the above range, the masking effect on chlorine odor becomes insufficient, or one of the scents is overemphasized and becomes unsuitable as the scent of the interior space.

The cineole is preferably 1-8 cineole derived from eucalyptus oil.
As the menthol, naturally derived or synthesized menthol extracted from peppermint oil, peppermint oil, or the like can be used.
From the above, when the total mass of the fragrance component is 100% by mass, the mass ratio is
Eucalyptus oil: 70-90% by mass,
Peppermint oil: 25-5% by mass,
Menthol: Preferably the balance.
By adopting such a blending ratio, the masking effect is sufficiently exhibited and the scent to be attached becomes more suitable.
It does not prevent the inclusion of unintended trace amounts of fragrances other than the above three types.
A more preferable blending ratio of the fragrance component is as follows when the total mass of the fragrance component is 100% by mass.
Eucalyptus oil: 75-85% by mass,
Peppermint oil: 20-7% by mass,
Menthol: the rest

The fragrance component is dissolved in alcohol and then dispersed in water, preferably purified water.
The blending ratio of alcohol, fragrance component and water is as follows: alcohol: 2 to 8% by mass, fragrance component: 0.1 to 1.0% by mass, water: balance when the total mass of the fragrance composition is 100% by mass. do.
If the blending ratio of the fragrance component is within the above range, it is possible to give a suitable scent to the room when spraying hypochlorite water while masking the chlorine odor. When the blending amount of the fragrance component is less than 0.1%, the masking effect on the chlorine odor becomes insufficient. On the other hand, if the blending amount of the fragrance component exceeds 1.0% by mass, the fragrance of the fragrance component is overemphasized, which is not preferable.
The blending amount of alcohol is 2 to 8% by mass. This alcohol is not particularly limited as long as it can dissolve the fragrance component, and methanol or propanol can be used in addition to ethanol.
Needless to say, a necessary amount of an auxiliary agent such as a preservative, an antioxidant, and a coloring agent is added to the fragrance composition according to the needs such as the conditions of use and the purpose of use.

The fragrance composition of the present invention is prepared as follows.
First, the perfume component and alcohol are mixed, and this is added to purified water and further mixed. The auxiliary agent may be miscible with alcohol or purified water together with the fragrance component, depending on its characteristics. After such mixing is complete, the solution is filtered to remove insoluble components.

The fragrance composition thus prepared is mixed with hypochlorite water by stirring. The blending ratio of the fragrance composition and the hypochlorous acid water is appropriately selected in the range of 1: 5 to 1000 (mass ratio), preferably 1: 5 to 20 (mass ratio) according to the purpose of use and the conditions of use. However, the concentration (mass) of hypochlorous acid should be 10 to 100 ppm.
By spraying the hypochlorite water mixed with the fragrance composition of the present invention into the atmosphere by a well-known method such as the use of high frequency, the environment can be sterilized and deodorized. The hypochlorite water and the fragrance composition may be independently sprayed while maintaining the above compounding ratio. In that case, the concentration (mass) of hypochlorous acid contained in all the mist droplets sprayed into the atmosphere is 10 to 100 ppm.

Next, examples of the present invention will be described.
Table 1 shows the fragrance compositions of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 8 of the present invention. The compounding ratio (mass%) of the perfume components (eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and menthol) constituting each perfume composition was fixed by fixing the compounding ratio (mass%) of the perfume components, ethanol and purified water. ..
Figure 0007016468000001
1 ml of the fragrance composition was added dropwise to 200 ml of hypochlorite water (trade name: Dissolver Water, manufactured by CGI Co., Ltd.) to prepare a sterilizing deodorant. These are separately enclosed in a resin container and left in a dark place at room temperature. After 50 days, the concentration of hypochlorous acid in the disinfectant deodorant in the container was measured.

The concentration of hypochlorous acid was measured using a chlor test paper manufactured by ADVANTEC.
In the sensory test, the disinfectant deodorant was sprayed into the air, and a plurality of operators subjectively judged whether the scent was good or bad at that time. ⊚ indicates a case where a plurality of operators all judge that the fragrance is good. ◯ indicates the case where at least one operator determines that the scent is good. X indicates a case where all operators were not satisfied with the scenting.
From the results in Table 1, it can be seen that the composition of eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and menthol is preferably eucalyptus oil: 70 to 90% by mass, peppermint oil: 25 to 5% by mass, and menthol: the balance.

Eucalyptus oil contains about 80% by weight cineole and peppermint oil contains about 50% by weight menthol. Therefore, it can be seen that it is preferable to use cineole and menthol as the fragrance component. Further, it is preferable to include 56 to 80% by mass of cineole and 7.5 to 20% by mass of menthol when the total mass of the fragrance component is 100% by mass.

Figure 0007016468000002
Table 2 shows the results when the blending ratio of the fragrance component was fixed to that shown in Example 1 and the blending ratio of the fragrance component in the fragrance composition was changed.
From the results in Table 2, it can be seen that it is preferable that the blending ratio of the fragrance components in the fragrance composition is 0.1 to 1.0% by mass.
