Description

The present invention relates to a rack for electronic devices.

Conventionally, for example, a rack for mounting electronic devices related to a network in a stack is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Patent Document 1 provides a partition plate and both ends thereof for the purpose of easily and at an arbitrary height a partition plate (referred to as a "rail" in Patent Document 1) on which an electronic device is mounted in a rack for an electronic device. Discloses a rack for electronic devices consisting of front and rear vertical frames that support the above.

Specifically, the partition plate is provided with locking claws at both ends thereof and an elongated hole in the vertical direction inside the partition plate, and one (front) vertical frame has a locking hole and a vertical direction inside the locking hole. The other (rear) vertical frame is provided with a locking hole and a screw hole on the inside thereof. The partition plate has its locking claws stepwise attached to locking holes provided at regular intervals in the height direction, or steplessly in slits forming elongated holes in the height direction as well. You can choose whether to attach it to, and after that, it is screwed through the screw holes.

However, in Patent Document 1, when attaching the partition plate, the locking claws at both ends of the partition plate are displaced in the height direction in the front and rear vertical frames and are attached diagonally in the front and rear, or the locking claws of the left and right partition plates are attached. However, there is a problem that the left and right vertical frames may be displaced in the height direction and may be attached diagonally on the left and right. Furthermore, it is complicated for the user because it is necessary to screw the partition plate after locking it to the vertical frame, and in particular, if a front-back or left-right deviation is noticed after installation, there is a problem that the screwing must be redone. there were .

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, but in each figure, the same reference numerals indicate the same or corresponding parts. Further, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments as will be clear from the following description, and various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art within the scope of the gist of the invention.

(Rack for electronic devices)
First, the overall configuration of the rack 1 for electronic devices according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. 1 shows a rack 1 for an electronic device in which electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec are mounted. FIG. 2 shows only the rack 1 for electronic devices by omitting the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec from FIG. The electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec are, for example, various electronic devices constituting a network, but are not limited to those used for a specific purpose.

As shown in FIG. 1, the rack 1 for electronic devices is a pair of racks 1 that partially partition a space in the vertical direction between a top plate 2, a bottom plate 3, left and right side plates 4, and a top plate 2 and a bottom plate 3. It includes a partition plate 5. The top plate 2, the bottom plate 3, and the partition plate 5 are fitted to the rail portion 42 (see FIG. 3) of the side plate 4. In FIG. 1, in order from the bottom, the electronic device Ec is on the bottom plate 3, the electronic device Eb is on the electronic device Ec, the partition plate 5 is on the electronic device Eb, and the electronic device Ea is on the partition plate 5. , Each shows the case where it is placed. Although three electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec are shown here, the number is not limited to the number of electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec, and may be two or four or more.

FIG. 1 shows an example in which a partition plate 5 is positioned between an electronic device Ea and an electronic device Eb that need to ensure heat dissipation, and a space is provided between the electronic device Ea and the electronic device Eb by the partition plate 5. H is secured. Of course, depending on the types of the electronic devices Eb and Ec, the partition plate 5 may be provided between the electronic device Eb and the electronic device Ec and also between the electronic device Ec and the bottom plate 3. As described above, in the present embodiment, the weight of the mounted electronic device Ea is the weight of the electronic device Eb via the partition plate 5, and the weight of the electronic devices Ea and Eb is the weight of the electronic device Ec. Since the weight is supported by the bottom plate 3, the number of members required for the support structure can be reduced as compared with the conventional rack.

FIG. 2 shows only the electronic device rack 1 by omitting the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec so that the components of the electronic device rack 1 can be easily grasped. As will be described in detail later, the partition plate 5 is slidably fitted to the side plate 4 and is not fixed at a specific position of the side plate 4. Therefore, in the free state, the partition plate 5 descends until it comes into contact with the bottom plate 3, but in FIG. 2, for the purpose of explaining the embodiment, it is assumed that the partition plate 5 is located at a position corresponding to FIG. Indicates the state.

(Top board)
Next, the components of the rack 1 for electronic devices will be described separately with reference to the exploded perspective view shown in FIG. The top plate 2 has a front-view C-shape that opens downward, and has a canopy portion 21 that covers the rack 1 for electronic devices and a pair of tops that extend downward from the left and right sides of the canopy portion 21. It has a plate fitting portion 22 and a plate fitting portion 22. The top plate fitted portion 22 is fitted to the upper portion of the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4, which will be described later. When forming the top plate 2 in a C shape, for example, the canopy portion 21 and the left and right top plate fitted portions 22 may be formed of different members and joined to each other, but the manufacturing process is simplified. From this point of view, it is preferable to bend one sheet metal to form two parts and three surfaces.

(Bottom plate)
The bottom plate 3 has a front-view C-shape that opens upward, and has a support portion 31 that supports the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec, and a pair that extends upward from the left and right of the support portion 31. It has a bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the above. The bottom plate fitted portion 32 is also fitted to the lower portion of the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4, which will be described later, in the same manner as the top plate fitted portion 22. In forming the bottom plate 3 in a C shape, for example, the support portion 31 and the left and right bottom plate fitted portions 32 may be formed of different members and joined to each other, but from the viewpoint of simplifying the manufacturing process. Therefore, it is preferable to bend one sheet metal to form two parts and three surfaces.

(Side plate)
The side plate 4 includes a flat plate-shaped main body 41 and a pair of rail portions 42 formed along the height direction (vertical direction) at both front and rear (front side and back side in the drawing) of the main body 41. Have. In forming the rail portion 42 on the side plate 4, for example, the main body portion 41 and the front and rear rail portions 42 may be formed of different members and joined to each other, but from the viewpoint of simplifying the manufacturing process, the rail portions 42 may be joined to each other. It is preferable to fold both the front and rear ends of one sheet metal inward to form the rail portion 42. As described above, the top plate fitting portion 22 of the top plate 2 is fitted to the rail portion 42, and the bottom plate fitting portion 32 of the bottom plate 3 is fitted to the lower portion thereof. Since the mode in which the top plate fitted portion 22 and the bottom plate fitted portion 32 are fitted to the rail portion 42 is substantially the same, the description will be described below with the bottom plate fitted portion 32 as a representative.

FIG. 4 is a top view of the rack 1 for electronic devices with the top plate 2 and the partition plate 5 omitted, and FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of the region F1 of FIG. 4, that is, the fitted state of the bottom plate 3 and the side plate 4. It is a figure which shows. In FIG. 4, for the sake of illustration, the bottom plate fitted portion 32 is shown to be in close contact with the main body portion 41 and the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4, but in reality, the bottom plate fitted portion 32 and the rail portion 42 are shown. As shown in FIG. 5 in which the fitted state of the above is enlarged, a clearance C is provided.

The side plate 4 has a rail portion 42 formed by folding back an end portion of the main body portion 41 having a thickness T1, and a gap 43 is formed between the main body portion 41 and the rail portion 42. The gap 43 has a width obtained by adding the clearances C on both sides to the thickness T2 of the bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the bottom plate 3 to be fitted.

The thickness T1 and the thickness T2 may be the same or different, but when the side plate 4 and the bottom plate 3 are made of the same member (for example, sheet metal), they have the same thickness. Further, here, for convenience of explanation, the clearances C are shown to be evenly distributed on both sides of the bottom plate fitted portion 32 in the gap 43, but the bottom plate fitted portion 32 is on the side of the main body portion 41 or the rail portion 42. It does not mean that the bottom plate fitted portion 32 must be located at the center of the gap 43 in the width direction without any problem even if the position is biased toward the side.

Based on the above configuration, by fitting the bottom plate fitted portion 32 (and the top plate fitted portion 22) to the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4, the rack 1 for electronic devices can be screwed or the like. Assembled without the need for fixing means.

(Partition plate)
The partition plates 5 are configured to partially partition the space between the top plate 2 and the bottom plate 3 in the vertical direction, and are provided in pairs corresponding to the left and right side plates 4. The partition plate 5 is formed in a front view C-shape that opens toward the side, and has an upper partition 51, a lower partition 52, and one end of the upper partition 51 and the lower partition 52. It has an end plate portion 53 to be connected. A groove 54 is located near the C-shaped bent portion (the connection portion between the upper partition 51 and the end plate 53 and the lower partition 52 and the end plate 53) at the base ends of the upper partition 51 and the lower partition 52. Is cut.

When the partition plate 5 is attached to the rack 1 for electronic devices, the end plate portion 53 is on the side of the main body portion 41 of the side plate 4, and the groove portion 54 is fitted to the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4. The partition plate 5 is in a state of being opened inward. In forming the partition plate 5, for example, the upper partition portion 51, the lower partition portion 52, and the end plate portion 53 may be formed of different members and joined to each other, but from the viewpoint of simplifying the manufacturing process, the partition plate 5 may be formed. It is preferable to bend one sheet metal to form three parts and three surfaces.

A mode in which the groove portion 54 of the partition plate 5 is fitted to the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4 will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7. FIG. 6 is a plan view of the rack 1 for electronic devices viewed from above with the top plate 2 omitted, and FIG. 7 shows an enlarged view of the fitted state of the region F2 of FIG. 6, that is, the side plate 4 and the partition plate 5. It is a figure.

As shown in FIG. 6, the pair of groove portions 54 provided in the front and rear (upper and lower in the drawing) of the partition plate 5 are formed on the pair of rail portions 42 provided in the front and rear (upper and lower in the drawing) of the side plate 4. It is slidably fitted. In FIG. 6, for the sake of illustration, the end plate portion 53 of the partition plate 5 is in close contact with the main body portion 41 of the side plate 4 and the rail portion 42, and the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4 is in close contact with the groove portion 54 of the partition plate 5. However, in reality, a clearance C is provided as shown in FIG. 7 in which the fitted state of the groove portion 54 and the rail portion 42 is enlarged.

The side plate 4 is the same as in FIG. 5, but has a rail portion 42 formed by folding back the end portion of the main body portion 41 having a thickness T1 as shown in FIG. 7, and the main body portion 41 and the rail portion. A gap 43 is formed between the 42. The gap 43 has a width obtained by adding the clearances C on both sides to the thickness T3 of the end plate portion 53 of the partition plate 5 to be fitted.

The thickness T1 and the thickness T3 may be the same or different, but when the side plate 4 and the partition plate 5 are made of the same member (for example, sheet metal), they have the same thickness. Further, here, for convenience of explanation, the clearances C are shown to be evenly distributed on both sides of the end plate portion 53 in the gap 43, but the end plate portion 53 is located at a position biased toward the main body portion 41 or the rail portion 42. It does not mean that the end plate portion 53 must be located at the center of the gap 43 in the width direction. The thickness T3 may be the same as or different from the thickness T2 of the top plate fitted portion 22 and the bottom plate fitted portion 32 described above, but the top plate 2 and the bottom plate 3 and the partition plate 5 are the same. When composed of members (for example, sheet metal), the thickness is the same.

On the other hand, as described above, the partition plate 5 is formed with a groove 54 at the base end of the upper partition 51 (and the lower partition 52). The groove portion 54 has a width obtained by adding the clearances C on both sides to the thickness T1 of the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4. For convenience of explanation, the clearance C is shown to be evenly distributed on both sides of the rail portion 42 in the groove portion 54, but the rail portion 42 is biased toward the end plate portion 53 or the upper partition portion 51 as in the gap 43. It does not mean that the rail portion 42 must be located at the center of the groove portion 54 in the width direction without any problem even if the rail portion 42 is in the vertical position.

Based on the above configuration, the partition plate 5 is formed by fitting the end plate portion 53 of the partition plate 5 into the gap 43 of the side plate 4 and the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4 into the groove portion 54 of the partition plate 5. It will be slidably fitted to 4. As a result, the partition plate 5 can be set at an arbitrary position according to the electronic devices Ea, Eb, Ec without the need for fixing means such as screwing, and further, the electronic devices Ea, Eb, Ec and the electronic devices Ea, Eb, Ec. By abutting free, the horizontal can be naturally maintained in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction, and there is no need to adjust / fine-tune / readjust the set position.

(Modification example)
A modified example of the rack 1 for electronic devices will be described with reference to FIGS. 8 and 9. FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing a modified example of the rack 1 for an electronic device in an exploded manner corresponding to FIG. 3, and FIG. 9 shows a region of FIG. 5 with respect to the bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the bottom plate 3 in FIG. It is a figure which expands and shows the region corresponding to F1.

In the modified example, the elastic member 6 is provided on at least one of the top plate fitted portion 22 of the top plate 2 and the bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the bottom plate 3. FIG. 8 shows an example in which the elastic member 6 is attached to the front and rear corners of the lower end of the top plate fitted portion 22 and the front and rear corners of the upper end of the bottom plate fitted portion 32. , The top plate fitted portion 22 and the bottom plate fitted portion 32 may be provided in consideration of the dimensions and materials of the rack 1 for electronic devices, the weights of the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec. The elastic member 6 is formed of, for example, silicon rubber.

As shown in FIG. 9, the elastic member 6 has a clearance C generated when the bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the bottom plate 3 is fitted into the gap 43 between the main body portion 41 and the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4. Substantially satisfied. As a result, instability of the rack 1 for electronic devices after assembly, which may occur depending on the size of the clearance C, can be prevented and stability can be ensured. Although FIG. 9 shows the bottom plate fitted portion 32 of the bottom plate 3, the same applies to the top plate fitted portion 22 of the top plate 2.

(Effect of embodiment)
With the above configuration, the rack 1 for electronic devices according to the present embodiment has the following effects.
(1) Since the top plate 2, the bottom plate 3, and the partition plate 5 are fitted to the rail portion 42 of the side plate 4, the user can easily assemble the rack 1 for electronic devices. Further, since the fixing means such as screwing is not used for the assembly, the number of parts can be reduced and it is not necessary to use tools for the assembly.
(2) Since the partition plate 5 is formed in a C shape in front view, it is possible to provide a space for ensuring heat dissipation at a required location between the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec to be stacked. Further, since the partition plate 5 is slidably provided with respect to the side plate 4, it can be easily installed at an arbitrary position according to the individual heights of the electronic devices Ea, Eb, and Ec, and the height can be adjusted / finely adjusted.
