Claims (14)
- 試験チャンバ内で試験品を不燃性ガス混合物に接触させるステップであって、前記不燃性ガス混合物は熱反応性試薬を含む、ステップと、
前記試験品が前記不燃性ガス混合物と接触している間に、前記試験品にエネルギー放電を印加するステップと、
前記エネルギー放電を印加するステップの後に、前記エネルギー放電を印加するステップに応答して反応した前記熱反応性試薬の量を表す前記不燃性ガス混合物の1つ又は複数の成分の量を測定するステップと、
前記エネルギー放電を印加するステップに応答して反応した前記熱反応性試薬の前記量に基づいて、前記エネルギー放電に応答して前記試験品の燃焼性を決定するステップと
を含む、燃焼性試験方法。 - 前記不燃性ガス混合物が、前記熱反応性試薬の可燃限界の下限より薄い混合物である、請求項1に記載の方法。

前記試験品にエネルギー放電を印加するエネルギー供給源と、
前記エネルギー放電の後に、前記エネルギー放電に応答して反応した熱反応性試薬の量を表す、前記不燃性ガス混合物及び前記反応生成物の成分からなる群から選択される1又は複数の指標種の量を測定する検出装置と
を備え、
前記1又は複数の指標種の量に基づいて、前記エネルギー放電に応答して前記試験品の燃焼性が決定される、燃焼性試験システム。 - 前記検出装置が、質量分析計、ガスクロマトグラフ、ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析計、光学分光計、蛍光分光計、レーザー誘起蛍光装置、平面レーザー誘起蛍光装置、レーザー励起原子蛍光装置、及びフーリエ変換赤外分光計からなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記エネルギー供給源が、落雷シミュレータ、電力源、電圧源、及び電流源のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項12又は13に記載のシステム。
