宅配物が収納される収納空間を内部に有するとともに、宅配物を出し入れするための開口部を有するボックス本体と、前記開口部に開閉可能に設けられた、施錠装置付きの開閉扉とを備える宅配ボックスにおいて、
前記宅配ボックスの内壁には捺印装置が取付けられており、
前記捺印装置は、被捺印物に捺印可能なスタンプ部と、前記被捺印物を受ける受け部とを備え、前記スタンプ部と前記受け部と前記宅配ボックスの内側からのみこれら前記スタンプ部と前記受け部との間に前記被捺印物を挿入できるように、所定の誘導領域内において往復動可能に保持されており、
前記捺印装置における前記スタンプ部と前記受け部との近接方向の移動の動作時に、前記施錠装置が施錠待機状態に切り換わり、
前記被捺印物への捺印の完了に伴い、前記スタンプ部と前記受け部との離間方向の移動を不能とする一時停止機構を更に備え、前記施錠装置の解錠操作により、前記一時停止機構による停止状態が解除されるようになっており、
前記一時停止機構と前記施錠装置とが、前記スタンプ部の往復動方向に沿って直線状に配置され、
前記一時停止機構と前記施錠装置と前記捺印装置は、前記開閉扉の内面に固定される基板に対向状に組付けられて一体ユニット化されていることを特徴とする宅配ボックス。
