Claims (14)
- それぞれが、赤色副画素、緑色副画素、第1青色副画素及び第2青色副画素を含む単位画素を含み、
前記赤色副画素、前記緑色副画素、前記第1青色副画素及び前記第2青色副画素それぞれは、
第1電極と、
前記第1電極上に配置された有機発光層を具備した中間層と、
前記中間層上に配置された第2電極と、を含み、
前記第1青色副画素は、第1青色有機発光層を具備した第1中間層を含み、前記第2青色副画素は、第2青色有機発光層を具備した第2中間層を含み、前記緑色副画素は、緑色有機発光層を具備した第3中間層を含み、前記赤色副画素は、赤色有機発光層を具備した第4中間層を含み、
前記第1中間層及び前記第2中間層は、厚みが互いに異なり、前記第3中間層と前記第4中間層との厚みが互いに異なり、
前記第1中間層の厚みは、前記第2中間層の厚みより大きく、
前記第1中間層、及び、前記第2中間層は、前記第1青色副画素及び前記第2青色副画素にわたって同一の材料及び同一の厚みで形成される、共通の正孔輸送層及び共通の機能層を含み、
この共通の機能層は、前記第1青色有機発光層及び前記第2青色有機発光層と、前記共通の正孔輸送層との間に位置し、
前記第1中間層は、前記第1青色有機発光層と、前記共通の機能層との間に、追加の機能層を含み、
前記第2中間層は、前記第2青色有機発光層と、前記共通の機能層との間に、前記追加の機能層を含まないか、または、前記第1青色有機発光層におけるよりも、厚みの小さい追加の機能層を含む表示装置。 - 前記第1中間層はスカイブルーを具現し、前記第2中間層は藍青色(deep blue)を具現することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層は、p−ビス(p−N,N−ジフェニル−アミノスチリル)ベンゼン(DSA−Ph)、フェニルシクロペンタジエン、または、その他のジスチリルアミン系青色ドーパント{di(styryl)-amine-based blue dopant}を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2青色有機発光層は、4’−N,N−ジフェニルアミノスチリル−トリフェニル(DPA−TP)、2,5,2’,5’−テトラスチリル−ビフェニル(TSB)またはアントラセン系誘導体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層の厚みと、前記第2青色有機発光層の厚みは、互いに同一であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層の厚みと、前記第2青色有機発光層の厚みは、互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1中間層、及び、前記第2中間層は、前記第1青色副画素及び前記第2青色副画素にわたって同一の材料及び同一の厚みで形成される、共通の電子注入層、及び共通の電子輸送層のうち少なくとも1層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層と前記第2青色有機発光層は、互いに同一の物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層と前記第2青色有機発光層は、互いに異なる物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1青色有機発光層は、460nmないし480nmの光ルミネセンス波長範囲で発光ピークを有する物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2青色有機発光層は、440nmないし460nmの光ルミネセンス波長範囲で発光ピークを有する物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の表示装置。
- 電流が印加されれば、前記第1中間層及び前記第2中間層は、互いに異なる発光ピークを有する波長で発光することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1中間層は、460nmないし490nmの波長範囲で発光ピークを有する青色で発光することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2中間層は、460nm以下の波長範囲で発光ピークを有する青色で発光することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の表示装置。
