Description
Claims (10)
- 移動通信ネットワークにおいてユーザ端末(User Equipment:UE)を追跡する方法であって、
1つまたは複数のパルス信号を、前記移動通信ネットワークによってカバーされる所定領域に関連付けられた所定方向に送信ポイントから送信することと、
前記1つまたは複数のパルス信号の送信に応答して、1つまたは複数の物体に関連付けられたパルス応答信号を前記送信ポイントで受信することと、
少なくとも1つのUEであると見込まれる前記パルス応答信号に関連付けられた物体の1つまたは複数に少なくとも基づいて、前記所定領域内に前記少なくとも1つのUEが存在する見込みを判定することと
を含み、
判定結果が示す見込みの度合いと優先順位のレベルとが関連付けられ、当該優先順位のレベルと前記所定領域内のビーム走査の増加レベルとが関連付けられ、当該見込みの度合いに応じて、前記所定領域内のビーム走査速度を当該優先順位のレベルと関連付けられた増加レベル分だけ大きくする、方法。 - 前記1つまたは複数のパルス信号を送信することは、前記送信ポイントから、前記所定領域と関連付けられた前記所定方向にレーダパルスを、又は、前記所定領域と関連付けられた前記所定方向にパイロット信号パルスを送信すること、をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (i)前記所定領域内に前記少なくとも1つのUEが存在することを標示するか、もしくは前記少なくとも1つのUEと前記送信ポイントとの間の通信リンクを開始する前記少なくとも1つのUEからの信号の受信、または(ii)前記少なくとも1つのUEと前記ポイントとの間に存在する通信リンクのうちの少なくとも一方に基づき、前記所定領域内に前記少なくとも1つのUEが存在するか確認することをさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記パルス応答信号に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのUEのための1つまたは複数のUEパルス応答プロファイルを生成し記憶することをさらに含み、前記パルス応答信号プロファイルは、経時的な、前記所定領域内に前記少なくとも1つのUEが存在する見込みを標示する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 経時的な前記受信されたパルス応答信号の追跡に少なくとも基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのUEのための予測されるUEパルス応答プロファイルを生成し記憶することをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記パルス応答信号に基づいて、前記UEの1つの送信ポイント間ハンドオーバを支援することをさらに含み、前記送信ポイント間ハンドオーバは、第1の方向から第2の方向まで移動する無線データストリームによって定義される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記送信ポイントから1つまたは複数の他の送信ポイントに存在情報を伝達することをさらに含み、前記存在情報は、(i)前記所定領域内に前記UEの1つが存在する見込み、(ii)前記所定領域内に前記UEの1つが確実に存在すること、および(iii)前記送信ポイントが前記UEの1つとの既存の通信リンクを有することの標示のうちの少なくとも1つを標示する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記送信ポイントから(i)1つまたは複数の他の送信ポイントおよび(ii)前記UEのうちの少なくとも一方に移動追跡情報を伝達することをさらに含み、移動追跡情報は、前記UEの位置の追跡、前記UEの移動方向の追跡、および前記UEの移動速度の追跡、の1つまたは複数を示す、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 移動通信ネットワークにおいてユーザ端末(User Equipment:UE)を追跡する送信ポイント装置であって、
メモリと、
前記メモリと通信する少なくとも1つのプロセッサと、
(i)1つまたは複数のパルス信号を所定領域に関連付けられた所定方向に送信し、(ii)前記1つまたは複数のパルス信号の送信に応答して、1つまたは複数の物体に関連付けられたパルス応答信号を受信するように構成された複数のアンテナと、
前記プロセッサによって実行可能であり、前記少なくとも1つのUEであると見込まれる前記パルス応答信号に関連付けられた前記物体の1つまたは複数に少なくとも基づいて、前記所定領域内に少なくとも1つのUEが存在する見込みを判定するように構成された、メモリに記憶されたモジュールと
を備え、
判定結果が示す見込みの度合いと優先順位のレベルとが関連付けられ、当該優先順位のレベルと前記所定領域内のビーム走査の増加レベルとが関連付けられ、当該見込みの度合いに応じて、前記所定領域内のビーム走査速度を当該優先順位のレベルと関連付けられた増加レベル分だけ大きくする、装置。 - 移動通信ネットワーク内のユーザ端末(User Equipment:UE)を追跡するシステムであって、
前記移動通信ネットワークの所定領域内に位置する少なくとも1つのUEと、
(i)1つまたは複数のパルス信号を前記所定領域に関連付けられた所定方向に送信し、(ii)前記1つまたは複数のパルス信号の送信に応答して、1つまたは複数の物体に関連付けられた前記1つまたは複数のパルス応答信号を受信するように構成された複数のアンテナを備えた送信ポイントと、
プロセッサによって実行可能であり、前記少なくとも1つのUEであると見込まれる前記パルス応答信号に関連付けられた前記物体の1つまたは複数に少なくとも基づいて、前記所定領域内に前記少なくとも1つのUEが存在する見込みを判定するように構成され、メモリに記憶されたモジュールと
を含み、
判定結果が示す見込みの度合いと優先順位のレベルとが関連付けられ、当該優先順位のレベルと前記所定領域内のビーム走査の増加レベルとが関連付けられ、当該見込みの度合いに応じて、前記所定領域内のビーム走査速度を当該優先順位のレベルと関連付けられた増加レベル分だけ大きくする、システム。
