Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る高圧タンク1の製造方法に用いる製造装置10の模式的概念図である。製造装置10は、フィラメントワインディング装置であり、繊維巻出部2と、繊維案内部3と、巻付部4と、制御装置6とを備えており、これらは、タンクライナ8(以下「ライナ8」という)への繊維束7の巻き付けを実行する巻回装置5を構成する。本実施形態では、ライナ8は、水素ガスなどの高圧ガスを収容する収容空間が形成された本体81と、その両側に取付けられた第1および第2の口金82,83とを備えている。
以下に、本実施形態の高圧タンク1の製造方法について説明する。図2は、本実施形態の高圧タンク1の製造方法における、補強層の形成のフロー図である。図3は、補強層74から補強層75を形成する際の巻始め工程を説明するための高圧タンク1の模式的斜視図である。図4は、図3のA−A線に沿った矢視方向の断面図である。図5は、本巻工程を説明するための高圧タンク1の模式的斜視図である。図6は、繊維束7の張力の時間変化を説明するためのグラフであり、図7は、ライナ8の回転速度の時間変化を説明するためのグラフである。なお、図3および図5では、図1に示す巻付部4の各構成を省略している。
実施例では、本実施形態で示した高圧タンクの製造方法で、複数の高圧タンクを製造した。具体的には、上述したように、ライナを正転方向および逆転方向の回転を交互に繰り返して、図3に示すような巻始め部分を形成した後、ライナの外周面に補強層を形成した。繊維束には、炭素繊維を用い、樹脂には、エポキシ樹脂を用いた。正転方向と回転と、逆転方向の回転を4回繰り返し、張力faを3Nとし、張力fbを10Nとした。その他の張力は上に例示した値とした。
実施例と同じように、高圧タンクを製造した。実施例と異なる点は、比較例では、図3に示すような巻始め部分を形成せずに、補強層を形成した点である。
実施例および比較例で、得られた複数の補強層のうち、各補強層の巻始め位置の繊維強化樹脂を切り出して、その繊維束の繊維配向率を測定した。「繊維配向率」とは、繊維束の配向する方向に対して、20°に交差する角度で切断したときの、繊維束の各強化繊維の断面形状(楕円形状)の縦横比を測定し、500個の強化繊維に対して、この縦横比が所定の範囲内に収まっている割合である。すなわち、繊維配向率が低いほど、繊維束の配向に乱れがあることを意味する。図8は、実施例及び比較例における繊維配向率を示す図である。
実施例および比較例に係る高圧タンクに内圧を付与し、バースト圧の測定を行った。図9は、実施例および比較例に係る高圧タンクのバースト圧の結果である。図9に示すように、実施例に係る高圧タンクは、比較例のものに比べて、バースト圧が、高かった。以上のことから、実施例に係る高圧タンクは、比較例のものに比べて、繊維束の配向に乱れが少ないため、高圧タンクのバースト圧が高かったと言える。
Claims (3)
- 収容空間を有したタンクライナの軸心周りに、前記タンクライナを一方向に回転させながら、前記タンクライナの外周面に、樹脂を含浸した繊維束を巻回することにより、複数の補強層を順に積層した繊維強化樹脂層を形成する高圧タンクの製造方法であって、
前記高圧タンクの製造方法は、各補強層を、前記各補強層に対して設定された設定張力を保持しながら前記繊維束を巻回することにより、形成するものであり、
前記複数の補強層のうち、少なくとも1つの補強層の形成の完了時に、前記タンクライナの回転を停止し、次の補強層を巻回する際に、前記タンクライナに対して前記一方向の回転と、前記一方向とは逆方向の回転とを交互に繰り返しながら、前記次の補強層に設定された設定張力よりも低い張力で、前記繊維束を前記少なくとも1つの補強層に巻き付けて、前記次の補強層の巻始め部分を形成する巻始め工程と、
前記巻始め工程後、前記設定張力で、前記繊維束を巻回することにより、前記次の補強層を形成する本巻工程と、を有することを特徴とする高圧タンクの製造方法。 - 前記巻始め工程において、前記各一方向の回転角度は、15°〜20°であり、前記各逆方向の回転角度は、5°〜7°であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧タンクの製造方法。
- 前記巻始め工程において、前記巻始め部分の巻き付け範囲は、前記タンクライナの軸心と直交する方向において、1/4周分〜1/2周分の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の高圧タンクの製造方法。
