Description

The techniques disclosed herein relate to insert molded articles.

Conventionally, the positioning structure described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2-82506 (Patent Document 1 below) is known as a device for performing insert molding with an insert nut fitted to a positioning pin. A positioning pin is installed in the recess carved into the lower mold, and the insert nut can be fitted into this positioning pin. A female screw is provided inside the insert nut.

Jikkenhei No. 2-82506

However, in the above structure, when the insert nut is fitted to the positioning pin, the female screw may interfere with the positioning pin and the female screw may be damaged.

The insert-molded product disclosed in the present specification is an insert-molded product formed by a mold in which a positioning pin protrudes from a lower mold to an upper mold, and a counterbore into which the positioning pin is inserted. A metal fastening member having a portion opened downward and a resin housing integrally molded on the outer surface of the fastening member are provided, and the fastening member is connected upward from the upper end of the counterbore portion. The vertical dimension of the positioning pin is equal to or smaller than the vertical dimension of the counterbore portion.

According to such a configuration, when the fastening member is set in the lower mold, the positioning pin enters the counterbore portion from below, but the positioning pin does not enter the female thread portion, so that the internal thread portion is formed. It is possible to prevent the peripheral wall from interfering with the positioning pin. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the inner peripheral wall constituting the female thread portion from being damaged by the positioning pin while positioning the fastening member by the positioning pin.

The insert molded article disclosed by the present specification may have the following constitution.
The fastening member includes a nut provided with the female thread portion and a bus bar on which the lower end portion of the nut is placed, and the counterbore portion includes a lower opening of the nut and the bus bar. It may be configured to include a through hole portion provided so as to penetrate in the vertical direction.
According to such a configuration, since the counterbore portion is provided by the nut and the bus bar, the nut and the bus bar can be positioned at the same time by the positioning pin.

The nut may be a bag-shaped nut having an upper end portion opposite to the bus bar closed, and the upper end portion of the nut may be exposed to the outside from the housing.
According to such a configuration, the nut and the bus bar can be sandwiched between the upper mold and the lower mold by setting the bus bar and the nut on the lower mold and applying the upper mold to the upper end portion of the nut from above. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the resin from entering between the lower end of the nut and the upper surface of the bus bar.

According to the insert molded product disclosed by the present specification, it is possible to prevent the inner peripheral wall constituting the female thread portion from being damaged by the positioning pin while positioning the fastening member by the positioning pin.

<Embodiment>
The embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings of FIGS. 1 to 6. As shown in FIG. 1, the insert molded product 10 of the present embodiment includes a plurality of bus bars 20 and a resin housing 40 integrally molded with these bus bars 20. As shown in FIG. 6, the insert molded product 10 is formed by insert molding with a mold 50. The mold 50 is composed of an upper mold 51 and a lower mold 52, and a housing 40 is formed by injecting molten resin into a molding cavity 53 formed between the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52 in a closed state. .. Further, a positioning pin 54 is provided on the bottom surface of the lower mold 52 so as to project upward toward the upper mold 51. The positioning pin 54 has a columnar shape.

The bus bar 20 is made of a conductive metal material, has a plate shape as a whole, and has a horizontal portion 21 set along the bottom surface of the lower mold 52. A through hole portion 23 through which the positioning pin 54 of the lower die 52 is inserted from below is provided in the substantially central portion of the horizontal portion 21 so as to penetrate in the plate thickness direction (vertical direction). The inner diameter of the through hole portion 23 is substantially the same as or slightly larger than the diameter of the positioning pin 54. Further, on the bottom surface of the lower mold 52, a positioning recess 55 recessed downward according to the outer shape of the horizontal portion 21 of the bus bar 20 is provided. The horizontal portion 21 of the bus bar 20 is positioned by being fitted into the positioning recess 55 while the positioning pin 54 is inserted into the through hole portion 23.

The nut 30 is made of a conductive metal material and has a bag shape as a whole. The nut 30 has a cylindrical shape and is located on the opposite side of the cylindrical portion 31 that opens downward and the lower opening 33 of the cylindrical portion 31. It is provided with an upper end portion 32 in which the upper end opening of the portion 31 is closed. A female screw portion 34 is formed above the lower opening 33 in the internal space of the cylindrical portion 31. The diameter of the lower opening 33 is substantially the same as or slightly larger than the diameter of the positioning pin 54. Further, the inner diameter of the female screw portion 34 is smaller than the diameter of the positioning pin 54.

The lower opening 33 and the female thread 34 are both circular holes and extend in the vertical direction, and the female thread 34 is provided above the lower opening 33. The vertical dimension of the female screw portion 34 is larger than the vertical dimension of the lower opening 33. The female screw portion 34 is arranged coaxially with the lower opening 33, and the inner diameter of the female screw portion 34 is smaller than the inner diameter of the lower opening 33. Female threads are formed on the inner peripheral wall forming the female thread portion 34, while female threads are not formed on the inner peripheral wall forming the lower opening 33. The inner peripheral wall forming the lower opening 33 and the inner peripheral wall forming the female threaded portion 34 are connected by a mortar-shaped tapered portion 35, and the upper end of the positioning pin 54 is located at the lower end of the tapered portion 35. There is.

To set the bus bar 20 and nut 30 on the lower mold 52, first, as shown in FIG. 5, the bus bar 20 is placed on the bottom surface of the lower mold 52, and the horizontal portion of the bus bar 20 is provided by the positioning pin 54 and the positioning recess 55. 21 is positioned at a predetermined position. More specifically, the positioning pin 54 fits into the through hole portion 23, and the horizontal portion 21 fits into the positioning recess 55 to position the bus bar 20 in the horizontal direction. Next, the lower end of the nut 30 is placed on the upper surface of the bus bar 20. In this state, the positioning pin 54 is fitted into the lower opening 33 to position the nut 30 in the horizontal direction.

Although the positioning pin 54 is inserted into the counterbore portion including the through hole portion 23 of the bus bar 20 and the lower opening 33 of the nut 30, it is located below the female screw portion 34. That is, since the vertical dimension of the positioning pin 54 is equal to or smaller than the vertical dimension of the counterbore portion (the space formed by the through hole portion 23 and the lower opening portion 33), the thread of the female screw portion 34 is damaged by the positioning pin 54. There is nothing to do. At this time, the through hole portion 23 and the lower opening 33 are coaxially arranged, and the inner peripheral wall constituting the through hole 23 and the inner peripheral wall forming the lower opening 33 are flush with each other and are connected in the vertical direction. Is placed.

Next, when the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52 are closed, the ceiling surface of the upper mold 51 abuts on the upper end portion 32 of the nut 30 from above, and the bus bar 20 and the nut 30 are vertically oriented by the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52. It will be in a state of being pinched from. As a result, a molding cavity 53 is formed between the ceiling surface of the upper mold 51 and the bottom surface of the lower mold 52. Then, as shown in FIG. 6, the molten resin is injected into the molding cavity 53, and the molten resin is cooled and solidified to form the housing 40. After that, the upper mold 51 and the lower mold 52 are opened and the insert molded product 10 is taken out.

By the way, the housing 40 is integrally molded on the outer surfaces of the bus bar 20 and the nut 30, and is arranged so as to cover the boundary portion between the bus bar 20 and the nut 30. Therefore, there is a concern that the molten resin may infiltrate from the boundary portion between the bus bar 20 and the nut 30 during insert molding. However, since the upper surface of the bus bar 20 and the lower end of the nut 30 are firmly in contact with each other by the upper die 51 and the lower die 52, the molten resin does not enter the boundary portion between the bus bar 20 and the nut 30 and is surely cut off. It can be performed.

As described above, in the present embodiment, when the fastening member (bus bar 20, nut 30) is set in the lower mold 52, the positioning pin 54 is placed in the counterbore portion (through hole portion 23, lower opening portion 33) from below. Since the positioning pin 54 does not enter the female screw portion 34 although it is in the entered state, it is possible to prevent the inner peripheral wall constituting the female screw portion 34 from interfering with the positioning pin 54. Therefore, while positioning the fastening member by the positioning pin 54, it is possible to prevent the inner peripheral wall constituting the female thread portion 34 from being damaged by the positioning pin 54.

The fastening member includes a nut 30 provided with a female screw portion 34 and a bus bar 20 on which the lower end portion of the nut 30 is placed, and the counterbore portion includes a lower opening 33 of the nut 30 and a bus bar. It may be configured to include a through hole portion 23 provided through the 20 in the vertical direction.
According to such a configuration, since the counterbore portion is provided by the nut 30 and the bus bar 20, the nut 30 and the bus bar 20 can be positioned at the same time by the positioning pin 54.

The nut 30 may be a bag-shaped nut in which the upper end 32 on the opposite side of the bus bar 20 is closed, and the upper end 32 of the nut 30 may be exposed to the outside from the housing 40.
According to such a configuration, the bus bar 20 and the nut 30 are set on the lower mold 52, and the upper mold 51 is applied to the upper end portion 32 of the nut 30 from above to make the nut 30 and the bus bar 20 into the upper mold 51 and the lower mold. It can be sandwiched between 52. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the resin from entering between the lower end portion of the nut 30 and the upper surface of the bus bar 20.
