As shown in FIG. 1A, the device 10 for creating a crimping postcard (an example of a printed matter) containing a printed matter (an example of a content) according to an embodiment of the present invention is a two-fold crimping device containing a printed matter T inside. You can create postcards 12. In FIG. 1, the hatched portions (ends P1, P2, P3 described later) indicate a portion to which the pressure-sensitive glue is applied to the inside of the crimping postcard 12.
The printed matter T is, for example, a questionnaire sheet, a ticket, a message card, or other printed matter on which the contents of the questionnaire are printed. However, the content enclosed in the crimping postcard 12 is not limited to the printed matter T, and may be, for example, a resin sheet or a thin resin plate. That is, any article may be used as long as it can be put inside the crimping postcard 12.
Further, the crimping postcard 12 may be a crimping DM (direct mail) other than the crimping postcard, or may be any printed matter whose printed surface can be seen by peeling off the crimping surface.

As shown in FIG. 2, the printed matter-containing crimping postcard making device (content-filled printed matter making device) 10 includes a first coating machine 20, a folding processing machine 30, and a second coating machine 40.

The first coating machine 20 can apply pressure-sensitive glue (an example of glue) to the postcard paper (an example of paper) S constituting the crimping postcard 12. The pressure-sensitive glue is the front of the two inner surfaces SF1 and SF2 formed by the center line (virtual line that becomes the crease later) F that passes through the central portion of the postcard paper S shown in FIG. 3 in the transport direction. It is an end portion of the inner surface SF1 on the side, and is applied to both long side end portions (an example of the first end portion) P1 and P2, respectively.
However, the pressure-sensitive glue is not limited to being applied to the ends P1 and P2. For example, the pressure-sensitive glue is applied to the ends (ends P1, P2) from the front end to the rear end on both long side sides of the postcard paper S. It may be applied to the ends (portions that come into contact with P1 and P2) when folded along P2 and the center line F). That is, the pressure-sensitive glue is applied to at least a part (an example of the first end) of both long side sides (the side along the transport direction of the postcard S) of the postcard paper S, and the postcard paper is applied. It suffices if S can be crimped.

As shown in FIG. 2, the folding machine 30 is arranged on the downstream side in the transport direction of the postcard paper S from the first coating machine 20, and the printed matter T is put into the postcard paper S coated with the pressure-sensitive glue. Can be formed in half.
As shown in FIG. 3, the folding machine 30 has a transport unit 310, a supply unit 320, and a position control unit 330.

The transport unit 310 can transport the postcard paper S coated with the pressure-sensitive glue by the first coating machine 20. The transport unit 310 transports the postcard paper S so that the direction intersecting the center line F (longitudinal direction of the postcard paper S) is the transport direction.
The transport unit 310 has a transport belt 312, a first roller 314a, a second roller 314b, a third roller 314c, and a fourth roller 314d.
The transport belt 312 can transport the postcard paper S with the side to which the pressure-sensitive glue is applied as the upper surface side.

As shown by the arrow A1, the first roller 314a and the second roller 314b can send the postcard paper S on which the printed matter T is carried from the transport belt 312 to the first paper receiving portion 316a. A stopper 318a is provided on the first paper receiving portion 316a, and the postcard paper S folded in half abuts on the stopper 318a (see FIG. 4).
Here, as shown in FIG. 3, the first roller 314a comes into contact with the upper surface side of the postcard paper S on which the printed matter T is placed. However, the pressure-sensitive glue is applied to the width dimension L1 of the first roller 314a so that the first roller 314a does not come into contact with the ends P1 and P2 to which the pressure-sensitive glue of the postcard paper S is applied. It is set to be smaller than the distance L2 between the end portion P1 and the end portion P2 to which the pressure-sensitive glue is applied.

As shown by the arrow A2, the second roller 314b and the third roller 314c send the folded postcard paper S in the first paper receiving portion 316a to the second paper receiving portion 316b, and the postcard paper. S can be crimped. The second paper receiving portion 316b is provided with a stopper 318b against which the postcard paper S abuts.
The third roller 314c and the fourth roller 314d can feed the postcard paper S on the second paper receiver 316b to the downstream side in the transport direction, as shown by the arrow A3.

The supply unit 320 has a paper feed tray 322 and a transport belt 326, and can supply the printed matter T one by one onto the postcard paper S.
The paper feed tray 322 can accommodate a plurality of printed matter T.
The transport belt 326 can transport the printed matter T taken out from the paper feed tray 322 by the roller 324 while sucking it by, for example, vacuum. The transport belt 326 is arranged so as to be inclined so that the height position on the downstream side in the transport direction is lower than that on the upstream side in the transport direction. The transport direction of the printed matter T by the transport belt 326 is a direction that intersects the center line F of the postcard paper S in a plan view, and is preferably a transport direction of the postcard paper S by the transport belt 312.

The position control unit 330 can control the position where the printed matter T conveyed from the supply unit 320 is supplied onto the postcard paper S. Specifically, the position control unit 330 can control the supply position of the printed matter T so that it is placed between the center line F of the postcard paper S and the end portion P3 described later. As a result, it is possible to prevent the printed matter T from being folded inside the crimping postcard or being crimped together with the postcard paper S.
The position control unit 330 includes a first position sensor 332a that detects the position of the postcard paper S conveyed by the transfer unit 310, and a second position sensor 332b that detects the position of the printed matter T supplied by the supply unit 320. The controller 333 has a controller 333 that performs a control calculation, and the controller 333 determines the transfer speed of the transfer belt 312 of the transfer unit 310 based on the information of the first position sensor 332a and the second position sensor 332b. Control.
The position control unit 330 may control the transfer speed of the transfer belt 326 instead of controlling the transfer speed of the transfer belt 312 of the transfer unit 310.

As shown in FIG. 2, the second coating machine 40 is arranged on the downstream side of the folding processing machine 30 in the transport direction of the postcard paper S. The second coating machine 40 is an end portion on the short side side (an example of the second end portion) of the postcard paper S which has been conveyed from the folding processing machine 30 and has been folded with the printed matter T contained therein (FIG. 1). Pressure-sensitive glue can be applied to (see (A)).

Next, the operation of the crimping postcard making device 10 containing printed matter will be described. The printed matter-containing crimping postcard making device 10 operates according to the following steps.

(Step S4)
The second roller 314b and the third roller 314c feed the folded postcard paper S to the second receiving portion 316b. At that time, the end portions P1 and P2 on both long sides of the postcard paper S are crimped with the printed matter T sandwiched between them. In FIG. 4, the postcard paper S in the second paper receiving portion 316b is schematically shown to show that the printed matter T is sandwiched.
In addition, the folded postcard paper S in the second receiving portion 316b is in a state where the short side end portion P3 (see FIG. 1) has not yet been crimped.

(Step S5)
The postcard paper S in the second receiving portion 316b is sent to the second coating machine 40 by the third roller 314c and the fourth roller 314d.

(Step S6)
The pressure-sensitive glue is applied to the edge P3 on the short side located inside the folded postcard paper S by the second coating machine 40.
After that, when the postcard paper S is crimped, a crimping postcard 12 is created in which a total of three locations, the long side end portions P1 and P2 and the short side end portion P3, are crimped.

As described above, according to the printed matter-containing crimping postcard creating apparatus 10 according to the present embodiment, it is possible to create a crimping postcard containing the printed matter T inside.
