Description
LEDのアレイと、

コリメータ構成部に取り付けられるライトガイドと、

ライトガイドは、
長さ方向を有し、1つの光入力端がコリメータ構成部に取り付けられる細長い構造体と、
光入力端と平行に幅方向に延在し、ライトガイドの外側弓状表面から光を出力させる光抽出特徴部と、
を含み、
長さ方向に垂直な横断面における全体形状は、非円弧を含み、LEDのアレイは、対応する非円弧に従い、
角度βは、光抽出特徴部の法線nと長さ方向に対する法線との間の角度であり、角度βは、光入力端と平行な方向において、少なくとも1回、徐々に又は突然に変化する、照明システムが提供される。
即ち、光線r1は、臨界角で点Rに当たらなければならない(前面を介する最大抽出)。
光線r2は、臨界角で点Pに当たらなければならない(ライトガイド内の光の最大開口角α)。
反射ファセット100に対する法線nの角度β。
材料内の放射線の角度範囲の角度α。
Claims (15)
- LEDのアレイと、
前記LEDのアレイに取り付けられ、前記LEDから出力される光をコリメートするコリメータ構成部と、
前記コリメータ構成部に取り付けられるライトガイドと、
を含み、
前記ライトガイドは、
長さ方向を有し、1つの光入力端が前記コリメータ構成部に取り付けられる細長い構造体と、
前記光入力端と平行に幅方向に延在し、前記ライトガイドの外側弓状表面から光を出力させる光抽出特徴部と、
を含み、
前記長さ方向に垂直な横断面における全体形状は、非円弧を含み、前記LEDのアレイは、対応する非円弧に従い、
角度βは、前記光抽出特徴部の法線nと前記長さ方向に対する法線との間の角度であって、前記角度βは、前記光入力端と平行な方向において、少なくとも1回、徐々に又は突然に変化する、照明システム。 - 前記光抽出特徴部は、前記ライトガイドの内側弓状表面に提供される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記光抽出特徴部は、傾斜ファセットを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記光入力端と平行な前記方向において、前記ライトガイドは、左右に配置される複数のセクションを含み、前記角度βは、それぞれのセクションにおいては同じであるが、少なくとも2つのセクションについて、前記角度βは相互に異なる、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ライトガイドの各セクションは、前記長さ方向と平行及び前記外側弓状表面に垂直な方向と平行な平面において、対応する同じ断面形状を有する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のセクションは、外側セクションと中央セクションとを含み、前記中央セクションから前記中央セクションの両側に等距離に配置される前記外側セクションは、鏡面状に配置され、前記外側セクションの対応する光抽出特徴部は、同じ角度βを有する、請求項4又は5に記載のシステム。
- 前記コリメータ構成部は、レンズ部とリフレクタ部とを有する全反射コリメータを含む、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記全反射コリメータは、回転対称である、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記ライトガイドは、チャネルの底部に前記コリメータ構成部の細長いレンズ面を規定する前記チャネルを含む、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記コリメータ構成部は更に、テーパ側壁としてのリフレクタ部を含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記ライトガイドは、前記光入力端から離れるにつれて減少する厚さを有し、段階的な減少は、前記光抽出特徴部によって規定される、請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ライトガイドは、前記光抽出特徴部を除き、一定の厚さを有し、前記光抽出特徴部は、隆起又は沈下した突出部を含む、請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記LEDは、前記LEDの非円弧に沿って均一に配置される、請求項1乃至12の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記長さ方向に垂直な平面において非対称の角光出力強度分布を有する、請求項1乃至13の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記非円弧は、楕円弧を含む、請求項1乃至14の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
