Description

The present invention relates to a shoulder orthosis of a person who has undergone rotator cuff repair.

The shoulder of the human body has a rotator cuff (hereinafter referred to as "rotator cuff") in order to stabilize the shoulder joint consisting of a spherical humeral skull and a glenoid cavity. This tendon plate is the subscapularis muscle that acts on the internal rotation / horizontal flexion of the shoulder joint, the supraspinatus muscle that acts on the abduction of the shoulder joint, and the infraspinatus muscle that acts on the abduction / abduction / adduction of the shoulder joint. , And the tendon of the small circular muscle that acts on the abduction and adduction of the shoulder joint.

The rotator cuff may be torn (including acute rupture, degenerative rupture, etc.) due to aging with aging, sports using the shoulder such as baseball and tennis, and injuries such as dislocation of the shoulder joint.
When a rotator cuff tear occurs, one of the treatment methods is a rotator cuff tear repair technique such as suturing the rotator cuff. In the early postoperative period of this rotator cuff tear repair procedure, the shoulder is fixed using a brace that covers the wearer's shoulder for the purpose of early recovery of the rotator cuff. This shoulder-fixing device (hereinafter referred to as "shoulder joint device") relaxes the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repaired rotator cuff (hereinafter referred to as "repair rotator cuff") and repairs the rotator cuff. Is worn to keep the shoulders relaxed and weak.

As the shoulder joint orthosis, the one disclosed in Patent Document 1 is known. The shoulder joint orthosis disclosed in Patent Document 1 is provided on the orthosis body having a substantially triangular cross section that can be freely sandwiched under the armpit and on the orthosis body so as to adjust the abduction angle of the shoulder joint to a required angle. It consists of a required number of angle adjusting members having a substantially triangular cross section and an arm belt that can be freely attached to the angle adjusting member to fix the arm, and is attached to the trunk of the orthosis body. A body belt and a shoulder belt are attached to each other.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2012-090920

In the conventional shoulder joint orthosis as disclosed in Patent Document 1, since the wearer's upper arm is not stable, the muscles around the shoulder joint cannot be sufficiently weakened, which causes excessive extension or tension of the muscles around the shoulder joint and repairs them. There was a risk of causing re-rupture of the rotator cuff.

Against this background, it is required to devise a shoulder joint orthosis capable of sufficiently stabilizing the wearer's upper arm so as to reduce the extension or tension of the muscles around the shoulder joint.

The present inventors have found that the extension or tension of the muscles around the shoulder joint can be reduced by changing the shape of the member arranged in the axilla of the wearer, and have completed the present invention.
That is, the present invention is a shoulder joint orthosis including an axillary pad arranged in the axilla and capable of changing the shape, and an angle adjusting pad arranged between the forearm and the side of the body to adjust the abduction angle of the shoulder joint. I will provide a.

According to the present invention, since the axillary pad arranged in the axilla of the wearer can change the shape, the muscles around the shoulder joint of the wearer are sufficiently weakened, and the repair rotator cuff is not tense. Therefore, the occurrence of re-rupture of the repaired rotator cuff can be reduced.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the shoulder joint orthosis according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment is roughly classified into an axillary pad 2 arranged in the axilla of the wearer H and an angle adjusting pad 3 arranged between the forearm portion of the wearer H and the body side portion B. And. Further, the angle adjusting pad 3 includes a body fixing pad 4 in contact with the body side B of the wearer H and an abduction adjusting pad 5 arranged adjacent to the body fixing pad 4.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment is not essential, but from the viewpoint of improving the wearing feeling, the outer package 10 in which the axillary pad 2 and the angle adjusting pad 3 are housed, and the above-mentioned The first fixing belt 6 connected to the outer package 10 and hung around the shoulder that has not been repaired, the second fixing belt 7 wound around the body of the wearer H, and the forearm of the wearer H. It is preferable that the forearm fixing band 8 for holding the armpit and the elbow fixing body 9 for protecting the elbow of the wearer H are provided. Each element will be described below.
Here, the term "axilla" as used herein refers to a portion formed between the upper arm and the chest wall on the left and right sides.

<Axillary pad 2>
The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment includes an axillary pad 2 that is arranged in the axilla of the wearer when worn.
As shown in FIG. 2, the axillary pad 2 is composed of three axillary accommodations 21, 22, 23 arranged along the anterior-posterior direction of the wearer H, and the axillary accommodations 21, 22, 23 are mutually arranged. It has the same shape. Therefore, only the axillary housing 21 is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and the structure of the axillary housing 21 will be described in the following description.

The axillary housing 21 is formed in a substantially triangular columnar shape and has a triangular cross section. Further, the axillary housing 21 has a structure in which the shape can be changed. Therefore, the shape of the entire axillary pad 2 can be changed. The "configuration that can change the shape" is not particularly limited. For example, each axillary housing body 21, 22, 23 has an air control valve, and the volume of the axillary housing body 21, 22, 23 is increased or decreased by filling with air. Any configuration may be used as long as the shape can be changed, such as a configuration in which the axillary housings 21, 22, and 23 are filled with a fluid such as water or foam beads.

In the axillary pad 2 of the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, an example of a structure whose shape can be changed by filling or discharging air will be described.
That is, the axillary housing 21 is an air pack, and includes an air regulating valve 2a for filling the inside of the axillary housing 21 with air. Therefore, the wearer H, a third party, or a jig can fill or discharge the air into the axillary housing 21 via the air regulating valve 2a. As a result, the shape of the axillary housing 21 can be deformed.

As shown in FIG. 3, the axillary pad 2 composed of the axillary housings 21, 22, 23 is arranged in the axilla of the wearer H. That is, the axillary pad 2 is arranged in a state of being sandwiched between the biceps brachii muscle of the wearer H and the chest wall at the time of wearing.

By the way, the length of the upper arm of the wearer H (the length from the boundary between the chest wall and the upper arm to the elbow head) and the circumference of the upper arm (the thickness of the upper arm according to the muscle mass such as the biceps brachii and the triceps brachii). It depends on the individual. As a result, the size of the axilla also differs for each wearer. In addition, the appropriate position of the upper arm for resting the muscles around the shoulder joint, that is, the lateral fist angle of the upper limb differs depending on the surgical technique and the like.
Therefore, it is preferable to adjust the shape of the axillary pad 2 so as to fill the gap formed between the chest wall of the wearer H and the inner surface of the upper arm by the axillary pad 2. Here, the "resting state of the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff" means that the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff are relaxed and the repair rotator cuff is in a weakened state without tension.

According to the axillary pad 2, the shape can be deformed by filling or discharging air. Therefore, the shape of the axillary pad 2 can be adjusted so as to fill the gap formed between the chest wall of the wearer H and the inner surface of the upper arm, and the axillary pad 2 can be attached to the inner surface of the upper arm of the wearer H. Can be brought into close contact. As a result, the upper arm of the wearer H can be stabilized, and the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be rested.

Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the axillary pad 2 is housed inside the external capsule 10, and the air regulating valve of the axillary body 21 is housed in the external capsule 10. A through hole through which 2a is inserted is formed. Therefore, even when the axillary pad 2 is housed inside the external capsule 10, the wearer H or the like can deform the shape of the axillary pad 2.

In the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, each axillary accommodating body 21, 22, 23 constituting the axillary pad 2 is formed in a substantially triangular columnar shape, but the axillary pad 2 has a variable shape. Any other shape may be used as long as the upper arm of the wearer H can be stabilized.
Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, each axillary accommodating body 21, 22, 23 constituting the axillary pad 2 is connected by an air inflow valve that allows air to flow in and out, and air is filled from the air adjusting valve 2a. The shape of each axillary housing 21, 22, 23 may be deformed at the same time. Further, instead of using the air inflow valve, air may be individually filled in each axillary housing 21, 22, 23 from the air adjusting valve 2a and individually deformed. In these forms as well, as described above, each of the housings 21, 22, and 23 may be filled with a fluid other than air.
Further, in the shoulder joint device 1 according to the present embodiment, the axillary pad 2 is composed of three axillary accommodating bodies 21, 22, 23, but the number of axillary accommodating bodies constituting the axillary pad 2 is specified thereto. However, the structure may be such that the muscles around the shoulder joint of the wearer H can be in a resting state, and for example, the axillary pad can be configured from one axillary housing.
Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, each axillary accommodating body 21, 22, 23 is configured to be completely filled with air, but the shoulder joint peripheral muscle of the wearer H is in a resting state. Any configuration may be used, for example, a configuration in which the hard foam is covered with an air pack and only the shape of the outer peripheral portion of the axillary pad 2 is variable.

<Body fixing pad 4>
Next, the body fixing pad 4 provided in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment will be described.
As shown in FIG. 6, the body fixing pad 4 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the body fixing pad 4 is formed with a support surface 41 at a portion in contact with the body side portion B of the wearer H when worn.

The body fixing pad 4 supports the shoulder joint orthosis 1 with respect to the body of the wearer H, and prevents the shoulder joint orthosis 1 from being displaced with respect to the wearer H.
Therefore, the shape of the support surface 41 in contact with the body side B of the wearer H is such that a large gap is formed between the support surface 41 and the body side B of the wearer H. It is preferable that the shape can be prevented. Examples of this shape include a curved surface that follows the outer edge of the body side B of the wearer H and is formed with a constant curvature. FIG. 6 shows an example in which the support surface 41 is a curved surface composed of one arc.
As described above, when the support surface 41 is a curved surface that imitates the outer edge of the body side portion B of the wearer H, it is possible that a gap is generated between the support surface 41 and the wearer H. Can be prevented. As a result, the shoulder joint orthosis 1 can be reliably supported by the wearer H.

As another shape of the support surface 41, the support surface 41 may have at least two surfaces in which a part of the body side portion B of the wearer H is in surface contact. As such a shape, for example, the support surface 41 may be composed of two composite surfaces intersecting each other, and the body side portion B of the wearer H may be in contact with a part of each surface. In such a case, since the shoulder joint orthosis 1 is supported on at least two sides with respect to the body side B of the wearer H, it is possible to prevent the shoulder joint orthosis 1 from being displaced with respect to the wearer H. Further, the shape of the support surface 41 is simple, and the support surface 41 can be easily formed.
The support surface 41 composed of two composite surfaces that intersect each other may be formed by intersecting two planes, or may be formed by intersecting two curved surfaces to form a composite curved surface. As described above, at least two surfaces constituting the composite surface may be a combination of planes, a combination of a plane and a curved surface, or a combination of curved surfaces.
As described above, even when the support surface 41 is formed of a curved surface or a composite surface having at least two surfaces in contact with the body side portion B, at least two points, preferably three, are attached. The support surface 41 having a portion in contact with the body side portion B at a point may be formed.

Here, in the body fixing pad 4 shown in FIG. 6, the support surface 41 is drawn as a curved surface composed of one arc, but in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the shape of the support surface 41 is Not limited to this. For example, the inner surface of the body fixing pad 4 in contact with the body side B of the wearer H is composed of two surfaces intersecting each other, and the portion in contact with the body side B of the wearer H is formed in a curved shape on each surface. It may be formed as a surface 41. That is, in this form, two curved support surfaces 41 are provided for the body fixing pad 4.

Since the body fixing pad 4 bears the support of the shoulder joint orthosis 1 with respect to the wearer H, the body fixing pad 4 needs to have a predetermined hardness. On the other hand, it is essential that the axillary pad 2 has a variable shape. Therefore, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the body fixing pad 4 is formed harder than the axillary pad 2.
Examples of the molding material of the body fixing pad 4 include a hard foam, and examples of the hard foam include expanded polystyrene, urethane, polyethylene, acrylonitrile, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and chloroprene rubber. Among these, urethane is preferable from the viewpoint of improving the breathability and wearing feeling of the orthosis, and styrofoam is also preferable from the viewpoint of weight reduction of the orthosis and ease of processing. Of these, urethane is particularly preferable.

<Abduction adjustment pad 5>
The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment includes an abduction adjustment pad 5 that forms a part of the angle adjustment pad 3.
As shown in FIG. 2, the abduction adjusting pad 5 is composed of three abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53 arranged along the front-rear direction of the wearer H, and each abduction adjusting body 51, 52, 53 is composed of three abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53. They have the same shape as each other. Each abduction adjusting body 51, 52, 53 is formed in a substantially triangular columnar shape and has the same shape as the axillary housing 21. Further, each abduction adjusting body 51, 52, 53 has a configuration in which the shape can be changed like the axillary housing body 21. That is, each abduction adjusting body 51, 52, 53 is an air pack provided with an air adjusting valve 5a, and has a configuration in which the shape can be changed by filling or discharging air by the wearer H or the like.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the forearm of the wearer H is placed on the abduction adjustment pad 5 when worn. Therefore, by deforming the shape of the abduction adjustment pad 5, the abduction angle of the shoulder joint of the wearer H can be appropriately adjusted. On the other hand, the body fixing pad 4 contributes to the support of the shoulder joint orthosis 1 to the wearer H. Due to these differences in function, the body fixing pad 4 is molded harder than the abduction adjusting pad 5.

Here, for example, it is not necessary to increase the abduction angle of the shoulder joint depending on the technique of repair for the torn rotator cuff. Therefore, depending on the state of the repaired rotator cuff, it is conceivable to change the shape of the abduction adjusting pad 5 to reduce the volume.

In the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the abduction adjustment pad 5 is an air pack and the shape can be changed like the axillary pad 2. However, as long as the abduction angle of the shoulder joint can be adjusted, the shape may not be variable, and the air pack may not be the same as the axillary pad 2. However, from the viewpoint of reducing the weight of the orthosis and the manufacturing cost, the air pack is preferable.
Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53 constituting the abduction adjusting pad 5 are connected by an air inflow valve that allows air to flow in and out, and air is connected from the air adjusting valve 5a. May be filled to simultaneously deform the shapes of the abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53. Further, instead of using the air inflow valve, air may be individually filled in the abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53 from the air adjusting valve 5a and individually deformed. Also in these forms, as described above, the abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53 may be filled with a fluid other than air.
Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the abduction adjusting pad 5 is formed of three abduction adjusting bodies 51, 52, 53, but the number of abduction adjusting bodies is not specified and is attached. Any configuration may be used as long as the abduction angle of the shoulder joint of the person H can be adjusted.

<外包体10>
<External capsule 10>

Inside the external capsule 10, the axillary pad 2 is placed on the body fixing pad 4. The external capsule 10 is arranged between the upper limbs and the body of the wearer H. The external capsule 10 is formed in a substantially triangular cross section, and is provided with an opening / closing lid 10a on a surface facing the upper limbs of the wearer H. The axillary pad 2 and the angle adjusting pad 3 can be accommodated in the external capsule 10 via the opening / closing lid 10a, and can be taken out from the external capsule 10. The structure of the external capsule 10 is not particularly limited as long as it has a structure capable of accommodating or taking out the axillary pad 2 and the angle adjusting pad 3, and the opening / closing lid 10a is provided on the front side of the wearer H or the like. It doesn't matter if it is done.
The outer packaging body 10 can be formed as a knitted knitted yarn material, the outer surface of the outer packaging body 10 and the opening / closing lid 10a are raised in a loop shape, and the first fixing belt 6 and the like can be engaged. It has become.

<First fixing belt 6>
The first fixing belt 6 is engaged with the external capsule 10 formed in this way. The first fixing belt 6 is formed in a band shape, for example, and is used for hanging the external capsule 10 containing the axillary pad 2 and the angle adjusting pad 3 from the shoulder of the wearer H.

The shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 can be formed as a knitted yarn material, and the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 are connected via a connector 63. Further, the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 are connected to the external capsule 10 via a connector 63. In the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, two of the connecting tools 63 are provided. Since FIG. 1 is a view of the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment observed from the front of the wearer H, the connector 63 arranged on the back side of the wearer H is not shown.

Each connecting tool 63 includes a connecting tool main body 64, an adjusting belt 65 connected to the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62, and an engaging piece 66 attached to the opening / closing lid 10a of the external capsule 10. ..
The connector main body 64 is formed with insertion holes at both ends in the longitudinal direction so that the adjustment belt 65 is inserted into one insertion hole and the engagement piece 66 is inserted into the other insertion hole. It has become.
The adjusting belt 65 is passed through the insertion hole of the connecting tool main body 64, and the length of the adjusting belt 65 coming out of the connecting tool main body 64 is adjusted to tighten the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 to the wearer H. The condition can be adjusted, and the wearing feeling can be improved.
Further, the engagement piece 66 is detachably attached to the opening / closing lid 10a. As a means for making this possible, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener can be adopted. That is, the inner surface of the engagement piece 66 facing the opening / closing lid 10a is raised in a hook shape so as to engage with the opening / closing lid 10a. As a result, the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 are connected to the external capsule 10 via the connector 63.

The configuration is not limited to the connector 63, as long as the tightening force of the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 with respect to the wearer H can be adjusted, and the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 can be connected to the external capsule 10. Other configurations may be used.
Further, the material for molding the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 is not particularly limited, and a known material used for the shoulder joint orthosis can be appropriately used. Further, the configuration of the shoulder belt 61 and the axillary belt 62 is not particularly limited as long as the axillary pad 2 and the angle adjusting pad 3 can be hung down.

<Second fixing belt 7>
The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment may include a second fixing belt 7 for holding the shoulder joint orthosis 1 in an appropriate position. The second fixing belt 7 includes, for example, a holding belt 71 formed in a band shape, and a fastening belt 72 that fastens the holding belt 71 to the external capsule 10.
The holding belt 71 is provided so as to circulate around the abdomen of the wearer H when worn, and the support surface 41 is brought into close contact with the body side B of the wearer H to give a feeling of wearing the shoulder joint orthosis 1. It contributes to the improvement.

Further, the fastening belt 72 is connected to the holding belt 71 via, for example, a ring member having a long hole through which the fastening belt 72 and the holding belt 71 are inserted and formed in a ring shape. There is. The engagement belt 72 is detachably attached to the outer package 10. As a means for making this possible, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener can be adopted. That is, the inner side surface of the engagement belt 72 facing the outer capsule 10 is raised in a hook shape so as to engage with the outer capsule 10.

The engagement belt 72 formed in this way is connected to both ends of the holding belt 71 via the ring member. Since FIG. 1 is a drawing of the wearing state of the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment observed from the front side of the wearer H, the engagement belt 72 arranged on the back side of the wearer H at the time of wearing is shown. Not.
The material for molding the engagement belt 72 is not particularly limited, and a known material used for the shoulder joint orthosis can be appropriately used. Further, the configuration of the engagement belt 72 is not particularly limited as long as it can engage with the external capsule 10.

<Forearm fixing band 8>
The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment preferably includes a forearm fixing band 8 for holding the forearm portion of the wearer H. The forearm fixing band 8 is provided to hold the forearm of the wearer H in an appropriate position and thereby to rest the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff.
The forearm fixing band 8 is formed in a band shape and is detachably attached to the opening / closing lid 10a. As a means for making this possible, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener can be adopted.

The forearm portion of the wearer H is inserted into the forearm fixing band 8, and the forearm portion of the wearer H is placed on the external capsule 10 at the time of wearing.
As described above, since the forearm fixing band 8 is detachable from the external capsule 10, the forearm fixing band 8 can be worn by changing the mounting position of the forearm fixing band 8 according to the total length of the upper limbs of the wearer, which varies from person to person. Can be improved.
Further, the forearm fixing band 8 according to the present embodiment has a configuration in which the length thereof can be adjusted according to the circumference of the forearm of the wearer H, whereby the wearing feeling can be improved. ..
The material for forming the forearm fixing band 8 is not particularly limited, and a known material used for the shoulder joint orthosis can be appropriately used. Further, the configuration of the forearm fixing band 8 is not particularly limited as long as it can hold the upper arm of the wearer H at an appropriate position.

<Elbow fixation body 9>
The shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment holds the elbow portion of the wearer H at an appropriate position and keeps the muscles around the shoulder joint in a resting state. Therefore, the elbow fixation body 9 that holds the elbow portion of the wearer H. It is preferable to have.
The elbow fixing body 9 is formed in a bag shape so as to cover the periphery of the elbow portion of the wearer H, and is detachably attached to the opening / closing lid 10a like the forearm fixing band 8. As a means for making this possible, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener can be adopted. Therefore, the wearing feeling can be improved by changing the mounting position of the elbow fixing body 9 according to the total length of the upper limbs of the wearer, which varies from person to person.

With the elbow fixation body 9 and the forearm fixation band 8 thus formed, the upper limbs of the wearer H including the repaired shoulder are placed on the outer package 10 at the time of wearing, whereby the wearer H is placed. The upper limbs can be held in an appropriate position, and the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be rested.
The material for molding the elbow fixation body 9 is not particularly limited, and a known material used for the shoulder joint orthosis can be appropriately used. Further, the configuration of the elbow fixing body 9 is not particularly limited as long as it can hold the upper arm of the wearer H at an appropriate position.

According to the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment as described above, since the axillary pad 2 has a structure in which the shape can be changed, the gap formed between the chest wall of the wearer H and the inner surface of the upper arm is filled. Can be adjusted to. Therefore, the upper arm of the wearer H can be stabilized, and the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be put into a resting state. As a result, the occurrence of re-rupture of the repair rotator cuff can be reduced.

Further, according to the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, since the axillary pad 2 has a configuration in which the shape can be changed, when the axillary pad 2 is arranged in the axilla having a large individual difference, the shape matches the axilla of the wearer H. be able to. As a result, it can be adjusted to fill the gap formed between the chest wall of the wearer H and the inner surface of the upper arm. Therefore, the upper arm of the wearer H can be stabilized, and the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be put into a resting state. This effect is more pronounced when the axillary pad 2 is an air pack.

Further, according to the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the axillary pad 2, the body fixing pad 4, and the abduction adjustment pad 5 are configured to be independent of each other, and the axillary pad 2 and the abduction adjustment pad No. 5 adopts a configuration in which the shape can be changed independently of each other. That is, the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment adopts a structure in which the members arranged between the upper limbs of the wearer H and the side portion of the body are not integrated but are divided. Therefore, the shape of the abduction adjustment pad 5 can be changed while keeping the shape of the axillary pad 2 matching the axilla of the wearer H. For example, when the repair rotator cuff recovers quickly and the abduction angle of the wearer H may be reduced, the shape of the abduction adjusting pad 5 may be reduced while maintaining the shape of the axillary pad 2. it can. That is, the abduction angle suitable for resting the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repaired rotator cuff can be adjusted according to the degree of recovery of the repaired rotator cuff.

Further, according to the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the body fixing pad 4 is provided and the body fixing pad 4 is provided independently of the axillary pad 2 and the abduction adjusting pad 5 whose shapes can be changed. Reference numeral 4 includes the support surface 41. Therefore, the entire shoulder joint orthosis 1 can be brought into close contact with the body of the wearer H via the body fixing pad 4. As a result, it is possible to prevent the shoulder joint orthosis 1 from being displaced from the mounting position with respect to the wearer H, thereby preventing the position of the upper arm of the wearer H from being displaced. Therefore, the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be rested, and thus the occurrence of re-rupture of the repair rotator cuff can be reduced.

その結果、装着者のQOL(quality of life)の向上を図ることができる。
According to the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the axillary pad 2 and the abduction adjustment pad 5 have a variable shape, and the body fixing pad 4 has the entire shoulder joint orthosis 1 with respect to the wearer H. It has the function of supporting. Therefore, the lateral fist angle of the upper limb of the wearer H can be adjusted according to the degree of recovery of the repaired rotator cuff after the operation, and thus the repaired rotator cuff can be recovered at an early stage. As a result, the QOL (quality of life) of the wearer can be improved.
Further, the axillary pad 2 can change its shape even during training of other parts centering on the scapulothoracic joint after repair and activities of daily living. Therefore, the upper arm of the wearer H can be stably held at a fixed position. As a result, the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be rested.

In the shoulder joint device 1 according to the present embodiment, the axillary pad 2, the body fixing pad 4, and the abduction adjusting pad 5 are housed in the envelope 10, and the axillary pad 2, the body fixing pad 4, and the abduction adjusting are adjusted. The pad 5 is in contact with the wearer H via the outer package 10, that is, the axillary pad 2, the body fixing pad 4, and the abduction adjustment pad 5 are indirectly in contact with the wearer H. However, in the shoulder joint orthosis 1 according to the present embodiment, the external capsule 10 may not be provided, and the body fixing pad 4 and the abduction adjusting pad 5 may be in direct contact with the wearer H. Even in such a case, the muscles around the shoulder joint including the repair rotator cuff can be rested.

Hereinafter, the shoulder joint orthosis according to the embodiment for carrying out the present invention based on the examples will be described in more detail. It should be noted that the examples described below show an example of a typical example of the shoulder joint orthosis according to the embodiment of the present invention, thereby relating to the embodiment of the present invention. The range of shoulder orthoses is not narrowly interpreted.

The present inventors have manufactured a shoulder joint orthosis to which the present invention is applied. Then, the tension that contributes to the abduction of the shoulder joint in the rotator cuff and acts on the supraspinatus muscle, which is prone to rupture in the rotator cuff, is measured, and the muscle around the shoulder joint is in a resting state by the shoulder joint device. A test was conducted to see if it was. In this test, a shoulder joint orthosis was attached to a healthy person.

<実施例1>
<Example 1>

<Comparative example 2>
As Comparative Example 2, the axillary pad provided in the present invention was not an air pack having a variable shape, but a shoulder joint orthosis made of urethane whose shape did not deform was used.

<比較例3>
<Comparative example 3>
In addition, as Comparative Example 3, the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle during the resting sitting position and the scapular fist movement without the shoulder orthosis was also measured.

<Evaluation of Examples and Comparative Examples>
First, a subject wearing a shoulder orthosis was allowed to perform a resting sitting position and a scapular fist exercise.
At that time, the tension applied to the spinal muscle of the subject was measured using an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus with a shear wave elastography function (Shear Wave Elastography Aixplorer manufactured by SuperSonic Imagine). In the measurement by the device, the greater the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle, the more tense the muscle around the shoulder joint is.
Further, the ratio of the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle at the time of raising the scapula when wearing the orthosis according to Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 was calculated based on the numerical value in Comparative Example 3 and compared. The measurements in Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were performed twice, and the average value was adopted.
Then, the measured values of all the subjects were averaged, and comparative analysis was performed by the repeated measurement one-way ANOVA and the multiple comparison Bonferoni method among all the cases.

Table 1 shows the results of measurement using the shoulder joint orthosis of Example 1, Comparative Examples 1 and 2. The measurement results of Comparative Example 3 are also shown in Table 1.
In Table 1 below, ± in the measured values of each example indicates the standard deviation.

Figure 0006807521
Figure 0006807521

As shown in Table 1, the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle in the resting sitting position of Example 1 was significantly lower than the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle in the resting sitting position of Example 1.
That is, it was confirmed that the shoulder joint orthosis according to Example 1 is suitable as a shoulder joint orthosis that can put the muscles around the shoulder joint in a resting state.
Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis according to Example 1, the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle in the resting sitting position was significantly lower than that in the shoulder joint orthosis according to Comparative Example 1.
That is, it was confirmed that the shoulder joint orthosis according to Example 1 is provided with an axillary pad arranged in the axilla of the wearer, so that the application of tension to the muscles around the shoulder joint can be suppressed to a lower level.
Further, in the shoulder orthosis according to Example 1, the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle in the resting position was significantly lower than that in the shoulder orthosis according to Comparative Example 2.
That is, it was confirmed that the application of tension to the muscles around the shoulder joint can be more reliably suppressed to a low level when the axillary pad has a variable shape structure, particularly an air pack structure, when sitting at rest.

Further, in the shoulder joint orthosis according to Example 1, the tension applied to the supraspinatus muscle not only in the resting position but also in the scapular fist is significantly lower than that in the shoulder joint orthosis according to Comparative Examples 1 to 3. Indicated.
Therefore, the shoulder orthosis according to the first embodiment has a tension on the muscles around the shoulder even when the scapula is above the fist, that is, when training other parts centering on the scapula-thoracic joint or during daily activities. It was confirmed that the equipment can suppress the addition to a lower level.
