Description

The present invention relates to pipe fittings.

Pipes for water supply and hot water supply are generally installed under the floor, behind the ceiling, inside the wall, etc. so as to be fixed to pipe joints arranged on the floor surface or near the wall surface. The pipe joint is provided with a mounting seat, and by screwing, for example, a screw or the like into a mounting hole in the mounting seat, the pipe joint is connected to the floor surface, the wall surface, the mounting surface of the interior fixing member, etc. via the mounting seat. Is fixed.
In recent years, such pipe joints have been made of synthetic resin from the viewpoints of weight reduction, cost reduction, hygiene and the like.

However, in the conventional pipe joint, when the screw for fixing the mounting seat is screwed into the screw hole, the stress is concentrated around the screw hole. Therefore, when the pipe joint is simply made of synthetic resin, this stress can be withstood. There is a risk that the mounting seat will be damaged.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is a pipe capable of preventing the mounting seat from being damaged when a fixing member for fixing the mounting seat to the placement target is inserted and locked in the through hole of the mounting seat made of synthetic resin. To provide fittings.

In order to achieve the above object, the pipe joint according to the present invention is a pipe joint including a joint body having a plurality of pipe connection portions and a mounting seat made of synthetic resin for mounting the joint body to an arrangement target. The mounting seat has a through hole through which a fixing member for fixing the mounting seat to the placement target is inserted, and the peripheral portion of the through hole adjacent to the through hole of the mounting seat is formed from the surface of the mounting seat. A recess having a stepped bottom surface is formed, and ribs protruding from the bottom surface toward the surface side of the mounting seat are intermittently formed in the recess along the peripheral edge direction of the through hole. It is characterized by that. According to the pipe joint according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the mounting seat from being damaged when a fixing member for fixing the mounting seat to the placement target is inserted and locked in the through hole of the mounting seat made of synthetic resin. it can.

In the pipe joint of the present invention, it is preferable that the recess is formed so as to extend from the peripheral edge of the through hole to the edge of the mounting seat. According to this configuration, die cutting becomes easy at the time of manufacturing as a molded product.
In the pipe joint of the present invention, it is preferable that the recess has a vertical wall perpendicular to the surface of the mounting seat from the peripheral edge of the through hole to the edge of the mounting seat. According to this configuration, the ribs are more easily broken, so that the breaking of the mounting seat is more suppressed.

In the pipe joint of the present invention, it is preferable that the protruding end of the rib has an inclined surface that is inclined downward from the radial outer side to the inner side of the through hole. According to this configuration, the ribs are more easily broken, so that the breaking of the mounting seat is more suppressed.

According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the mounting seat from being damaged when a fixing member for fixing the mounting seat to the placement target is inserted and locked in the through hole of the mounting seat made of synthetic resin.

It is a perspective explanatory drawing which shows the structure of the pipe joint which concerns on one Embodiment of this invention. The peripheral edge of the through hole of FIG. 1 is enlarged and shown, (a) is a perspective explanatory view including an example of a rib, and (b) is a perspective explanatory view including another example of the rib.

Hereinafter, a mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pipe joint 10 of the present embodiment has a joint body 11 having a plurality of pipe connection portions and a synthetic resin mounting seat 12 for attaching the joint body 11 to an arrangement target. I have. The pipe joint 10 is connected to the pipes when constructing pipes for water supply / hot water supply under the floor, behind the ceiling, inside the wall, etc. It is arranged and fixed on a mounting surface or the like, and the pipe is fixed via the pipe joint 10.
In the present embodiment, the joint body 11 is formed in a substantially L-shape in which two cylindrical pipe connecting portions 11a and 11b are arranged in a substantially orthogonal state (see FIG. 1), for example, one pipe connection. A faucet is connected to the portion 11a, and a water supply (hot water supply) pipe is connected to the other pipe connecting portion 11b.

The pipe fitting 10 of the present embodiment has two mounting seats 12. In the present embodiment, each mounting seat 12 is formed in a plate shape (including a plate shape having a notch, a deformed portion, etc. other than the rectangular shape in addition to the rectangular shape), and two pipe connecting portions. It extends along the respective side surfaces of 11a and 11b, and is arranged in a substantially orthogonal state corresponding to the arrangement state of the two pipe connecting portions 11a and 11b (see FIG. 1). In this example, the pipe connecting portions 11a and 11b and the two mounting seats 12 are integrally molded with synthetic resin, but as long as the mounting seats 12 are made of synthetic resin, they may be joined as separate bodies. A fixing member S (for example, a floor surface, a wall surface, a mounting surface of an interior fixing member, etc.) for fixing the mounting seat 12 to each of the two mounting seats 12 having an L-shape as a whole (in the figure, In this example, a plurality of through holes 13 through which only one (shown) is inserted are provided (see FIG. 1).

As the fixing member S, for the pipe joint 10 of the present embodiment, a countersunk screw having a head having a flat upper surface and a conical seat surface is preferably used, but the fixing member S is not limited to this, and the upper surface is not limited to this. It may be a pan head screw or other screw having a pan bottom shape and a flat seat surface, or various screws other than the screw, a screw nail, a nail or the like.
Only one of the two mounting seats 12 may be mounted on the placement target. Further, the number of mounting seats 12 may be one.

In the present embodiment, a total of eight through holes 13 are provided on both sides of the two pipe connecting portions 11a and 11b, two each along the edge 12a of the mounting seat 12, and each through. The hole 13 penetrates the mounting seat 12 in the plate thickness direction (see FIG. 1). By inserting the shaft portion of the fixing member S (counter-screw in the present embodiment) into the through hole 13 and fixing it to the arrangement target (screwed in the present embodiment), the mounting seat 12 is made of the mounting seat by the fixing member S. It is fixed to 12 placement targets.
A recess 14 having a bottom surface that descends from the surface of the mounting seat 12 is formed on the peripheral edge of the through hole adjacent to the through hole 13 of the mounting seat 12, and the recess 14 faces the surface side of the mounting seat 12 from the bottom surface. The protruding ribs 15 are formed intermittently along the peripheral edge direction of the through hole 13 without being continuous (see FIGS. 1 and 2).

In the present embodiment, the recess 14 is formed in a groove shape having a stepped bottom surface 14b extending from the peripheral edge of the through hole to the edge 12a of the mounting seat 12 and passing through the vertical wall 14a from the surface of the mounting seat 12 ( (See Figures 1 and 2). In the present embodiment, the recess 14 has a vertical wall 14a perpendicular to the surface of the mounting seat 12 and a bottom surface substantially perpendicular to the vertical wall 14a from the peripheral edge of the through hole to the edge of the mounting seat 12. It is provided with 14b (see FIG. 2). As a result, the ribs are more easily destroyed, so that the destruction of the mounting seat is further suppressed. However, the vertical wall 14a is not limited to a surface perpendicular to the surface of the mounting seat 12, and may be an inclined wall inclined with respect to the vertical surface.

A plurality of ribs 15 are provided in the recess 14 so as to project from the bottom surface 14b toward the surface side of the mounting seat 12, and have an upper end surface 15a which is a protruding end (see FIG. 2). In the present embodiment, the ribs 15 are separated from each other in a range of approximately half a circumference on the peripheral edge of the through hole 13 on the side opposite to the edge 12a of the mounting seat 12 (see FIG. 2A) or 2 Pieces (see FIG. 2B) are projected. Further, in the present embodiment, in each rib 15, the wall surface 15b which is the peripheral end of the through hole 13 is in the extending direction to the edge 12a of the mounting seat 12 in a plan view, and between the adjacent wall surfaces 15b. They are formed at the same intervals (see FIG. 2). In the present embodiment, the wall surface 15b is perpendicular to the surface of the mounting seat 12, but the wall surface 15b has an inclined surface whose bottom side extends outward in the peripheral direction of the through hole 13 from the upper side, or the through hole 13 on the bottom side from the upper side. It may be formed in a tapered shape so as to be an inclined surface that narrows inward in the peripheral direction.

In the present embodiment, the upper end surface 15a has a height that does not exceed the surface of the mounting seat 12 (in this example, the uppermost edge of the upper end surface 15a has the same height as the surface of the mounting seat 12). Further, in the present embodiment, the upper end surface 15a, which is the protruding end of the rib 15, is provided with an inclined surface that is inclined downward from the radial outer side to the inner side of the through hole 13. As a result, the rib 15 is more easily destroyed, so that the destruction of the mounting seat 12 is further suppressed. Not limited to this, it may be formed to include at least one of an inclined surface that is inclined in a downward direction, an upward direction, or a direction in which these are combined along the peripheral direction of the through hole 13. The inclined surface may be formed over the entire upper end surface 15a or a part of the upper end surface 15a, and the inclination of the inclined surface may be, for example, the contact surface of the fixing member S with the upper end surface 15a. It is formed in a shape corresponding to the shape.

In the present embodiment, the upper end surface 15a is formed by an inclined surface (see FIG. 2) that is inclined downward from the radial outside to the inside of the through hole 13 of the recess 14 over the entire upper end surface 15a. An inclined surface that is inclined along the peripheral edge direction of the hole 13 or an inclined surface that is inclined downward from the radial outside to the inside of the through hole 13 and an inclined surface that is inclined along the peripheral edge direction of the through hole 13. It may be formed by the combined inclined surfaces. Further, in the present embodiment, the inclination of the inclined surface is formed in a shape corresponding to the shape of the seating surface of the head of the countersunk screw, which is the shape of the contact surface with the upper end surface 15a of the countersunk screw.

By having the rib 15, when the fixing member S is fixed to the arrangement target, the fixing member S in which the shaft portion of the fixing member S is inserted into the through hole 13 and the head is abutted and locked to the upper end surface 15a of the rib 15. The rib 15 formed in the recess 14 having a stepped bottom surface passing through the vertical wall 14a from the surface of the mounting seat 12 receives the stress generated by. When a stress equal to or higher than a predetermined value is generated on the rib 15, the rib 15 is deformed and fractured independently of the portion other than the rib 15 and preferentially, and the stress generated by the fixing member S is generated. Is difficult to spread other than the rib 15.

Here, in the present embodiment, since the rib 15 is intermittent, stress is concentrated there. Therefore, for example, the countersunk screw is excessively screwed in more than a predetermined screwing amount, and the rib 15 is screwed. When a stress equal to or higher than a predetermined value is generated, the rib 15 is deformed and fractured independently of the parts other than the rib 15 and preferentially, and the stress generated by the countersunk screw is other than the rib 15. It becomes difficult to spread to.

This is because the strength of the rib 15 is lower than the strength of the mounting seat 12 made of a plate having the same thickness, and the rib 15 is more easily broken than the mounting seat 12.
By providing the intermittent ribs 15 in this way, the intermittent ribs 15 receive the stress generated by the fixing member S when the fixing member S inserted through the through hole 13 of the mounting seat 12 is fixed to the arrangement target. Therefore, when an excessive stress is applied to the periphery of the through hole 13, the rib 15 is easily broken. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the mounting seat 12 from being damaged by the stress applied to the periphery of the through hole 13. Furthermore, even if the mounting seat 12 is not damaged, it is possible to prevent the stress from remaining on the mounting seat 12.

In the present embodiment, if a countersunk screw is used as the fixing member S, the head of the screw does not protrude from the surface of the mounting seat 12 and it is easy to make it flush with the surface of the mounting seat 12, so that in piping construction. Not only does it look good, it does not interfere with other piping components.

In the pipe joint 10 of the present embodiment, since the recess 14 extends to the peripheral edge of the through hole 13, when forming as a molded product using a synthetic resin material, the molding die is used as a split mold and the mold opening direction is set as the mounting seat. It can be removed from the mold by sliding it in the direction along the recess 14 formed in 12. Further, in each rib 15 formed in the recess 14 of the mounting seat 12, the facing wall surface 15b between the adjacent ribs 15 extends along the extending direction of the recess 14 to the edge 12a of the mounting seat 12 (FIG. 2). (See), and does not hinder the sliding (horizontal punching) of the split mold in the mold opening direction.

As described above, the pipe joint 10 of the present embodiment is demolded by sliding (horizontally punching) the molding die as a split die and the mold opening direction along the recess 14 formed in the mounting seat 12. It also has the effect that the mounting seat 12 as a molded product can be easily taken out from the molding die.
