Claims (15)
- ソーラーアレイの展開方法であって、
第1の抗力条件に応答してソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第1の部分を展開し、
太陽電池の第1の部分でバッテリーを充電し、
太陽電池の第1の部分を用いて第1の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させ、
第2の抗力条件に応答してソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第2の部分を展開し、
太陽電池の第1の部分および太陽電池の第2の部分を用いて第2の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させる、
ことを含み、
第2の抗力条件は、第1の抗力条件より低く、
第2の電力レベルは、第1の電力レベルより高い、ソーラーアレイの展開方法。 - 電気スラスターを用いてソーラーアレイに取り付けられた飛行体の軌道を上昇させることをさらに含み、太陽電池の第2の部分の展開は、上昇後である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1の抗力条件は、第1の高度にあり、第2の抗力条件は、より高い第2の高度にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 太陽電池の第1の部分の展開および太陽電池の第2の部分の展開は、ソーラーアレイを広げることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 太陽電池の第1の部分の展開はソーラーアレイを広げることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電気スラスターと、推力を生成するために電気スラスターを作動させるように作動可能なバッテリーとを含む飛行体本体と、
飛行体本体に取り付けられたソーラーアレイと、
太陽電池の第1の部分でバッテリーを充電するように第1の抗力条件に応答してソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第1の部分を展開し、太陽電池の第1の部分を用いて第1の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させ、第1の抗力条件より低い第2の抗力条件に応答してソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第2の部分を展開し、太陽電池の第1の部分および太陽電池の第2の部分を用いて第2の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させるように構成された制御装置であって、第2の電力レベルが、第1の電力レベルより高い、制御装置と、
を備える、ソーラーアレイを有する飛行体。 - 制御装置は、電気スラスターを用いて飛行体本体の軌道を上昇させ、次いで太陽電池の第2の部分を展開するように構成される、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- 第1の抗力条件は、第1の高度にあり、第2の抗力条件は、より高い第2の高度にある、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- ソーラーアレイは、収納位置と展開位置との間で移動可能であり、ソーラーアレイは、収納位置に巻かれる、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- 飛行体本体は、人工衛星である、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- 制御装置は、飛行体本体に取り付けられる、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- 太陽電池の第1の部分は、広げることにより展開される、請求項6に記載の飛行体。
- ソーラーアレイの展開方法であって、
ソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第1の部分を展開し、
太陽電池の第1の部分でバッテリーを充電し、
太陽電池の第1の部分を用いて第1の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させ、
ソーラーアレイに取り付けられた飛行体の軌道を上昇させ、
飛行体の軌道を上昇させた後にソーラーアレイの太陽電池の第2の部分を展開し、
太陽電池の第1の部分および太陽電池の第2の部分を用いて第2の電力レベルで電気スラスターを作動させる、
ことを含み、
第2の電力レベルは、第1の電力レベルより高く、
太陽電池の第1の部分の展開は、第1の抗力条件に応答し、太陽電池の第2の部分の展開は、より低い第2の抗力条件に応答する、ソーラーアレイの展開方法。 - 太陽電池の第1の部分の展開および太陽電池の第2の部分の展開は、ソーラーアレイを広げることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 太陽電池の第1の部分の展開は、ソーラーアレイを広げることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
