US2013/0099897は、RFIDリーダーと、RFIDチップと、アンテナとを開示しており、アンテナは、RFIDチップに電気的に結合され、RFIDリーダーから信号を受信し且つそこへ信号を送信する。RFIDチップは、センシング・マテリアル(a sensing material)に対する電気的なインターフェースとともに提供される。RFIDチップは、リーダーから受信される信号を変調し、センシング・マテリアルを変調信号により駆動するように構成される。センシング・マテリアルは、バックスキャタリング変調信号がセンシング・マテリアルの状態に応じて変動するように、可変である電気特性を有する。センシング・マテリアルの性質によらず、RFIDチップからの変調信号と相互作用し、その信号をRFIDチップへ返す。返された信号は、バックスキャター変調器を介してRFIDチップからアンテナへ渡され、RFIDリーダーへ送り返される。或いは、センシング・マテリアルにより処理された信号は、RFIDチップの入力インピーダンスを、RFIDチップからの信号により変調するために使用され、その信号は、センシング・マテリアルの状態の判断のためにアンテナによりRFIDリーダーへバックスキャタリングされる。
バックスキャタリング原理により通信し、無線周波数識別(RFID)機能を提供するためのアンテナ、整流器及び変調器と、
変調器に変調周波数を提供する発振器と、
発振器の発振周波数が、センシング要素によりセンシングされる所定変数の値に依存するように、発振器に接続されるセンシング要素と、
を有し、発振周波数は変調周波数のN倍高調波である。
Claims (2)
- パッシブ・ワイヤレス・トランスポンダであって、
無線周波数(RF)インテロゲーション信号を受信し、RFバックスキャタリング信号を送信するように構成されるアンテナと、
前記アンテナに結合され、受信した前記RFインテロゲーション信号からパッシブ・ワイヤレス・トランスポンダを給電するように構成される整流器と、
前記RFバックスキャタリング信号を変調周波数で変調するように構成され、バックスキャタリング原理により通信し、無線周波数識別(RFID)機能を提供するように前記アンテナに結合される変調器と、
前記変調器の変調周波数のN倍高調波である調和発振周波数で動作するように構成される発振器と、
前記パッシブ・ワイヤレス・トランスポンダに対して外的な所定変数を測定するように構成されるセンシング要素であって、前記センシング要素は、測定された前記所定変数の値の変化に応じて変化する電気特性を有し、前記センシング要素は、前記センシング要素の前記電気特性の変化が前記発振器の調和発振周波数を変化させるように前記発振器に結合され、前記調和発振周波数は前記センシング要素によりセンシングされる所定変数の値に依存し、前記調和発振周波数の相対変化は、センシングされる前記所定変数の値の対応する相対変化を示す、センシング要素と、
を有し、前記変調周波数は、前記発振器及び前記変調器の間に配置される周波数分周器により前記調和発振周波数から導出され、前記変調周波数の相対変化は、センシングされる前記所定変数の値の対応する相対変化を示し、前記周波数分周器は分周比Nを有し、前記分周比Nは整数であり且つ最大の感度を提供するように選択され、前記感度は、前記センシングされる値の相対変化に対する、前記変調周波数における相対変化の比率により決定される、パッシブ・ワイヤレス・トランスポンダ。 - 前記変調周波数は、40−640kHzの範囲内にある、又は640kHz,320kHz,256kHz,160kHz及び40kHzの群から選択され、前記調和発振周波数は少なくとも5MHz又は少なくとも10MHzである、請求項1に記載のパッシブ・ワイヤレス・トランスポンダ。
