Description
図1に示すように、第1実施形態の燃料電池用電極触媒層シートの製造方法では、アイオノマ溶液の準備(S1)、触媒および溶媒の準備(S2)、ならびに、アイオノマ溶液への超音波照射(S3)が行われる。また、それらの後、アイオノマ溶液と触媒との混合(S4)、ビーズミルによる分散処理(S5)、ビーズとインクとの分離(S6)、シート材130へのインクの塗工(S7)、溶媒乾燥(S8)、および巻取り(S9)が行われる。
第2実施形態では、超音波照射工程(S3)が、第1実施形態と異なっている。他の工程については、本実施形態は第1実施形態と同様である。

Claims (2)
- 炭素を主成分とする触媒担体および前記触媒担体に担持される触媒金属からなる燃料電池用電極触媒と、アイオノマと、を含む燃料電池用電極触媒層シートの製造方法であって、
アイオノマおよび溶媒を混合してアイオノマ溶液を準備し、
前記アイオノマ溶液に超音波を複数方向から照射し、
前記複数方向のそれぞれで、前記超音波を間をおきつつ間欠的に照射するとともに、
互いに異なる一の方向と他の方向とで、前記超音波を一時停止させるタイミングをずらし、
前記アイオノマ溶液および燃料電池用電極触媒を混合し、分散処理を行うことで電極触媒インクを得、
前記電極触媒インクをシート材に塗工する、燃料電池用電極触媒層シートの製造方法。 - アイオノマ溶液の貯留手段と、
触媒および溶媒の貯留手段と、
アイオノマ溶液と触媒とを分散処理しインク化する混合手段と、
シート材へのインクの塗工手段と、
塗工されたシート材を乾燥する溶媒乾燥機と、
シート材の巻取り装置と、
を備えるとともに、
前記アイオノマ溶液へ超音波を照射する超音波照射手段を設け、
前記超音波照射手段は、前記アイオノマ溶液に超音波を複数方向から照射し、
前記複数方向のそれぞれで、前記超音波を間をおきつつ間欠的に照射するとともに、
互いに異なる一の方向と他の方向とで、前記超音波を一時停止させるタイミングをずらし、
アイオノマによる触媒粒子の被覆を増加させることを特徴とする燃料電池用電極触媒層シートの製造装置。
