Description

The present invention relates to a package for packaging a retort pouch.

Foods that are sterilized by heating under pressure and require air-tightness and light-shielding properties may be sold by enclosing a material such as a plastic film in a bag-shaped container. Such a bag-shaped container is called a retort pouch.

The retort pouch may be placed in a paper box to stand and display, but in some cases, the bag may be formed into a ship bottom gusset so as to be self-supporting. An independent retort pouch is sometimes called a standing pouch. A paper box that can hold a standing pouch has also been proposed (Patent Document 1).

The products placed in the paper box are not limited to the retort pouch. There are various innovations in the paper boxes used to store products. As an example, there is a packaging box in which a retaining piece is provided on the bottom surface or the upper surface of a paper box having an opening so that the stored items can be retained so as not to fall off (Patent Document 2).

Generally, it is easier to print a design or letters for displaying a product on a paper box than a retort pouch made of a material such as a plastic film. When manufacturing and selling a large quantity of food enclosed in a standing pouch, the initial cost of printing does not matter. However, if the product is manufactured in small quantities, the initial cost of printing cannot be ignored, and it is necessary to consider using a paper box.

Further, when forming a paper box with one blank, if there is a side surface, the cut-off portion increases and waste may increase. In order to open the side surface and reduce the cut-off of the blank, a means for preventing the falling of the stored items is required. However, even if the latching piece is provided on any surface of the paper box, it is difficult to exert the latching effect when the stored items are easily deformed and moved. Also, as another means, it is conceivable to wind an adhesive tape or rubber or the like to close the opening, but it takes a lot of steps.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a packaging body provided with means for preventing the standing pouch from falling off while opening the side surface.

The package of the present invention is intended to achieve the above-mentioned object, and the means of claim 1 is a package for packaging a standing pouch formed in a ship bottom gusset shape, and a body surface constituting a bottom surface, a front surface and a rear surface. Hereinafter, modes for carrying out the present invention will be described.

The package of the present invention includes a body surface that forms a bottom surface, a front surface, and a rear surface, and a cut piece having a fold on a ridge portion between the bottom surface and the body surface or on a bottom surface near the ridge portion.
Here, the ridge means a fold line between the bottom surface and the body surface, and is distinguished from the fold line of the cut piece. Further, in the present invention, it is assumed that the lower part of the standing pouch packaged by the package is formed in a ship bottom gusset shape in which the bottom surface can be folded.

The package is formed from one blank. The unfolded blank has a body surface forming a front surface and a rear surface extending from opposite ends of the bottom surface. The material of the blank may be any shape as long as it has a stable shape and can be deformed, and is preferably thick paper, but is not limited thereto. Another example of the material of the blank is plastic.
The blank is preferably easy to print, but is not limited to this. The blank may be a transparent acrylic resin for packaging a transparent standing pouch.

The packaging body is preferably provided with a sealing means in order to maintain its shape. An example of the sealing means is to extend a flap on one body surface, provide a sealing piece on a part of the flap, and insert the sealing piece into a sealing opening provided on the other body surface.

Folds of the cut pieces are provided on or near the ridges of the bottom surface and the body surface. The whole or most of the cut piece is a part of the body surface.
The cut piece folded along the fold has a restoring force to return to the original. When a blank made of a hard material is used, when the standing pouch is packaged, the cut piece has a restoring force for returning to its original shape by adjusting the angle with the bottom surface so that the cut piece may bend. Therefore, the packaging body holds the lower part of the standing pouch by the cut piece and the body surface.

Here, when the fold of the cut piece is provided on the bottom surface near the ridge, the fold of the cut piece is preferably on the bottom surface and within 1 mm from the ridge and parallel to the ridge. The distance from the ridge can be increased depending on the thickness of the lower part of the standing pouch. However, if the fold of the cut piece is too far from the ridge, the standing pouch has a large room to move freely, and the cut piece is likely to come off the standing pouch.

Considering the shape of the lower part of a general standing pouch, the shape of the cut piece is preferably an arc shape, but is not limited to this. Other examples of the shape of the cut piece include a square with rounded corners, a gentle mountain shape, and a corrugated shape. The shape of the cut piece may be a rounded character shape. With the rounded shape, there is no risk of damage to the standing pouch and there is no risk of getting caught in the standing pouch.
A typical standing pouch is heat-sealed on the sides. Therefore, the packaging body limits the lateral movement of the standing pouch by the cut pieces.

The side surface of the package formed according to the above description is open. The shape of the package when viewed from the opened side surface is preferably an isosceles triangle in consideration of the shape of a general standing pouch, but is not limited to this. Another example of the shape of the package is a trapezoid. The shape of the package when viewed from the side of the opening does not have to prevent the standing pouch from standing upright, may have an interior angle of more than 180 degrees, and may have both ends of the body surface to form a mouth for a handle. The part may have a shape in which a mating surface is extended and overlapped.
In addition, the isosceles triangle here does not need to be an isosceles triangle exactly. When designing the front surface and the rear surface of the body surface to be the same size and extending the flap to one of the body surfaces, the position of the fold of the flap, which is the end of the one body surface, depends on the thickness of the blank. It is above the position of the end of the other body surface. However, when the standing pouch is packaged, the standing pouch itself is easily deformed, so that the positional deviation of the end portion of the body surface does not pose a problem.

With the above structure, the package of the present invention has an effect of preventing the standing pouch from falling off even if the side surface is open.
Whether or not the side surface of the package of the present invention is provided is arbitrary. The configuration of the present invention can be applied even to a package body whose side surface is not opened.

A concrete example according to the above embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a development view of a package of the present invention in an example.
The package 1 is formed from one blank. The material of the blank of this embodiment is cardboard. The package 1 has a ridge 4 between the bottom surface 2 and the body surface 3.
Further, the package 1 is provided with an arcuate cut piece 5. The position of the fold line 6 of the cut piece 5 is on the bottom surface 2, 1 mm apart from the ridge portion 4 and parallel to the ridge portion 4.
Further, in the package 1, a flap 7 is extended on one body surface 3, a sealing piece 8 is provided on a part of the flap 7, and sealing for inserting the sealing piece 8 on the other body surface 3 is performed. A mouth 9 is provided.
The package 1 is formed by bending the ridge portion 4 and inserting the sealing piece 8 into the sealing opening 9 from the outside.

Therefore, the package 1 holds the lower portion S′ of the standing pouch S between the cut piece 5 and the body surface 3.
Further, the standing pouch S is closed by heat sealing on the side. Therefore, the package 1 limits the lateral movement of the standing pouch S by the cut piece 5.

With the above configuration, the package 1 of the present invention has an effect of preventing the standing pouch S from falling off even if the side surface is open.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is a packaging body suitable for displaying a product of a standing pouch. By using the packaging body of the present invention, it is not necessary to print the product display on the main body of the standing pouch, and if the standing pouch is manufactured in a small amount, the printing cost can be reduced. Therefore, the package of the present invention is suitable for the product display of standing pouches such as regional limited products and limited number products.
