Description
The present invention relates to a transparent conductor having a conductive layer containing metal fibers, a metal fiber ink containing metal fibers and a solvent, and an overcoat agent containing a curable resin and a solvent and applied to a layer containing metal fibers. ..
Transparent conductors are widely used as sensor electrodes in electronic devices such as displays, touch panels, electroluminescent devices, and solar cells. As a general transparent conductor, one having an indium tin oxide (ITO) film formed on a transparent substrate is known, but the ITO film has poor flexibility, and indium is an expensive rare metal. For this reason, alternative products are being actively developed.
As a substitute for solving these problems, for example, a transparent conductor including a conductive layer containing metal fibers such as metal nanowires, which is described in Patent Document 1, is drawing attention. However, when a sensor electrode (patterning) is formed on this transparent conductor and used in electronic devices such as touch panels, the light resistance that the electronic devices will not operate normally if illuminated by fluorescent light or sunlight for a long time. There was a sex problem. As a cause of this, deterioration or disconnection of the metal fiber due to ultraviolet rays or visible light is considered, and as a means for solving this, for example, in Patent Documents 2 and 3, iron, cobalt as an additive to the conductive layer, The inclusion of transition metal complexes such as manganese and titanium is disclosed.
However, if the conductive layer contains an additive as in Patent Documents 2 and 3, the presence of the additive may impair the optical characteristics of the transparent conductor.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a transparent conductor having a conductive layer containing metal fibers, which is excellent in light resistance and optical characteristics.
The present invention is characterized in that, in the transparent conductor including the conductive layer containing metal fibers, the conductive layer further contains a ruthenium complex.
According to this structure, since the conductive layer contains the ruthenium complex, the light resistance of the transparent conductor can be improved. Furthermore, it is possible to suppress an increase in haze, which is one of the optical characteristics (the haze is set to the same level as that not including a transition metal complex). The low haze represents transparency and is particularly important because visibility is required from the use of the transparent conductor.
In the present invention, metal nanowires can be selected as the metal fibers.
Then, in the present invention, tris(2,4-pentanedionato)ruthenium(III) can be selected as the ruthenium complex.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the metal fiber ink containing the metal fiber and the solvent further contains a ruthenium complex.
Furthermore, the present invention is characterized in that the overcoat agent containing a curable resin and a solvent and applied to a layer containing metal fibers further contains a ruthenium complex.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the transparent conductor provided with the electrically conductive layer which is excellent in light resistance and suppressed the increase of haze can be provided.

The results of the light resistance test are shown in FIGS. FIG. 4 shows the change over time in the rate of change of the surface resistance value in the light portion due to the light of the three-wavelength fluorescent lamp, and FIG. 5 shows the change at the edge portion. FIG. 6 shows the change with time of the rate of change of the surface resistance value in the light portion due to the light of the sunshine carbon arc, and FIG. 7 shows that in the edge portion.
As shown in FIG. 4, in Comparative Example 1 containing no transition metal complex, the surface resistance value in the light portion increased with time due to the light of the three-wavelength fluorescent lamp, and after irradiation for 600 hours, the change was almost 100%. (The surface resistance value was almost doubled). In contrast, in Comparative Example 2 (iron complex), Comparative Example 3 (cobalt complex), Comparative Example 4 (manganese complex) and Example 1 (ruthenium complex), there was almost no change even after irradiation for 1000 hours. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, in Comparative Example 1, the surface resistance value at the edge portion increased with time due to the light of the three-wavelength fluorescent lamp, and the rate of change was 40% after 1000 hours of irradiation. On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 2 to 4 and Example 1, there was almost no change even after irradiation for 1000 hours. From the results of FIGS. 4 and 5, it is understood that the iron complex, the cobalt complex, the manganese complex, and the ruthenium complex are useful for the light of the three-wavelength fluorescent lamp.
Then, as shown in FIG. 6, in Comparative Example 1 containing no transition metal complex, the surface resistance value in the light portion increases with time due to the light of the sunshine carbon arc, and exceeds 100% after irradiation for 200 hours. It became the rate of change. Further, also in Comparative Example 3 (cobalt complex) and Comparative Example 4 (manganese complex), the rate of change exceeded 100% after irradiation for 200 hours. On the other hand, in Comparative Example 2 (iron complex) and Example 1 (ruthenium complex), there was almost no change even after irradiation for 300 hours. Further, as shown in FIG. 7, in Comparative Example 1, the surface resistance value of the edge portion increased with time due to the irradiation of the light of the sunshine carbon arc, and the rate of change exceeded 100% after irradiation for 300 hours. Further, in Comparative Example 3, the rate of change exceeded 100% after irradiation for 300 hours, and in Comparative Example 4, the rate of change increased to almost 20% after irradiation for 300 hours. In contrast, in Comparative Example 2 and Example 1, there was almost no change even after irradiation for 300 hours. From the results of FIGS. 6 and 7, it is found that the iron complex and the ruthenium complex are useful for the light of the sunshine carbon arc. From the above, it is understood from the results of FIGS. 4 to 7 that the iron complex and the ruthenium complex are useful from the viewpoint of light resistance.
On the other hand, the result of haze measurement is shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 8, in Comparative Example 2-1 (iron complex 0.02% by weight), Comparative Example 2-2 (iron complex 0.04% by weight) and Comparative Example 2 (iron complex 0.08% by weight). In each case, the haze was higher than that of Comparative Example 1 containing no transition metal complex. On the other hand, in each of Example 1-1 (ruthenium complex 0.02% by weight), Example 1-2 (ruthenium complex 0.04% by weight) and Example 1 (ruthenium complex 0.08% by weight). Also in the case, the haze was lower than that of each of Comparative Example 2-1, Comparative Example 2-2, and Comparative Example 2, and was about the same as that of Comparative Example 1. This shows that the ruthenium complex is more useful than the iron complex in terms of transparency.
From the above, by including the ruthenium complex in the conductive layer, the light resistance is improved, and the haze can be suppressed from increasing.
