Claims (4)
- ターゲット生体細胞の周囲に存在するバブルに対してソノポレーション用の超音波を送信する超音波発生部と、
前記超音波を規定する送信シーケンスを生成するシーケンス生成部と、
を備え、
前記送信シーケンスは、時間軸方向に並んだ複数の送信期間、及び、隣り合う2つの前記送信期間の間の期間であって前記超音波の送信を停止させる停止期間を含み、
前記各送信期間は、前記時間軸方向に並んだ複数のパルス波期間、及び、隣り合う2つのパルス波期間の間の期間であって前記超音波の送信を小休止させる小休止期間を含み、
前記各パルス波期間において前記バブルに対して前記超音波が送信され、
周波数に対する体積振動量を表す前記バブルの振動応答特性において、前記体積振動量が最大振動量を示す共振周波数より低い周波数領域における単位周波数当たりの前記体積振動量の変化量よりも、前記共振周波数より高い周波数領域における単位周波数当たりの前記体積振動量の変化量が大きいことに応じて、前記超音波が有する前記超音波の中心周波数を中心とする周波数帯における信号成分の前記バブルの振動への寄与量が大きくなるように、前記超音波の中心周波数が、前記バブルの前記共振周波数の近傍の周波数であって、前記バブルの前記共振周波数よりも低い周波数に設定される、
ことを特徴とするソノポレーション用超音波送信装置。 - 前記停止期間は前記小休止期間よりも長い期間である、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のソノポレーション用超音波送信装置。 - 前記パルス波期間は、複数のバブルが凝集したクラウドを形成するための、前記クラウドを形成し得る音圧を有するクラウド形成用超音波が送信されるクラウド形成期間、及び、前記クラウド形成期間に後続する期間であって、前記クラウドに含まれる複数のバブルを圧壊させるための、前記クラウド形成用超音波の音圧よりも大きい音圧であって、前記クラウドに含まれる複数のバブルを圧壊し得る音圧を有するクラウド圧壊用超音波を送信するクラウド圧壊期間を含む、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のソノポレーション用超音波送信装置。 - 前記クラウド圧壊用超音波は、前記クラウドの共振周波数に基づいて設定される周波数を有する、
ことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のソノポレーション用超音波送信装置。
