Description
本出願は、2016年1月6日付の韓国特許出願第10−2016−0001310号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
充放電が可能な複数の電池セルが積層配列されている電池セルアセンブリーと、前記電池セルの充放電過程で発生する熱を除去する一対の冷却部材を含んでおり;
前記冷却部材は、電池セルの積層配列方向に垂直方向の電池セルアセンブリーの第1面および第2面側に位置する第1冷却部材および第2冷却部材から構成されており;
前記第1冷却部材および第2冷却部材それぞれの内面には、熱伝導のために電池セルアセンブリーの第1面および第2面それぞれの外面に密着する形状を有する熱的接触部が形成されている。
Claims (10)
- 電池パックであって、
充放電が可能な複数の電池セルが積層配列されている電池セルアセンブリーと、
前記電池セルの充放電過程で発生する熱を除去する一対の冷却部材とを備えてなるものであり、
前記冷却部材は、前記電池セルアセンブリーの積層配列方向に沿った前記電池セルアセンブリーの側面である第1面側及び第2面側にそれぞれ位置する第1冷却部材と第2冷却部材とにより構成されてなり、
前記第1冷却部材及び前記第2冷却部材のそれぞれの内面には、熱伝導のために、前記電池セルアセンブリーの第1面及び第2面のそれぞれの外面に密着する形状を備えた熱的接触部を備えてなり、
前記冷却部材における前記熱的接触部と前記電池セルアセンブリーとの界面には、熱伝導向上のための熱伝導部材がさらに介在してなり、
前記熱伝導部材は、熱伝導性の充填樹脂(resin)、熱伝導性のフィルム、又は熱伝導性のパッドであり、
前記冷却部材は、空冷式冷却構造を備えてなり、
前記電池セルは、隣り合う前記電池セルが直接対面した状態で積層配列されて前記電池セルアセンブリーを構成したものであり、
前記冷却部材における前記熱的接触部は、前記電池セルの両側端部が挿入密着する形状を備えてなり、
前記電池セルは、パウチ型電池ケースの収納部に電極組立体が内蔵されてなるものであり、前記収納部の外周辺が熱融着シーリング部を備えたパウチ型電池セルであり、
前記熱的接触部は、前記パウチ型電池セルにおける前記熱融着シーリング部と密着しつつ、前記熱融着シーリング部に隣接した収納部の外側壁とも密着する形状を備えてなり、
1つ以上の前記電池セルがセルカバーに装着されて単位モジュールを構成してなり、
前記単位モジュールが積層配列されて前記電池セルアセンブリーを形成してなり、
前記熱的接触部は、前記熱融着シーリング部と前記収納部の外側壁に挿入密着する形状からなることを特徴とする、電池パック。 - 前記電池セルの充放電過程で発生する熱は、前記電池セルの両側端部を介して前記冷却部材に熱伝導され除去されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記収納部における前記外側壁は、前記熱融着シーリング部に対して90度乃至130度の傾きを有してなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記単位モジュールは、2つの前記電池セルが金属素材による前記セルカバーに内蔵されてなるものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記冷却部材の前記熱的接触部は、前記単位モジュールの両側端部が挿入密着する形状を備えてなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルの少なくとも一部が、前記電池セルアセンブリーの第1面及び第2面に露出した状態でカートリッジに装着されてなるものであり、1つ以上の前記電池セルが装着された前記カートリッジは、積層配列されて前記電池セルアセンブリーを構成してなるものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、前記パウチ型電池ケースの収納部に前記電極組立体が内蔵されたものであり、前記収納部の外周辺が前記熱融着シーリング部を備えた前記パウチ型電池セルであり、前記熱融着シーリング部の端部が前記電池セルアセンブリーの第1面及び第2面にそれぞれ露出した状態でカートリッジに装着されたものであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池パック。
- 前記冷却部材における前記熱的接触部は、前記熱融着シーリング部の露出した端部と、前記熱融着シーリング部が位置したカートリッジの外側壁とが密着する形状を備えてなることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の電池パックを備えてなることを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、モバイル電子機器、電池基盤モータによって動力を受けて動くパワーツール(power tool)、電気自動車(Electric Vehicle、EV)及びハイブリッド電気自動車(Hybrid Electric Vehicle、HEV)を包含する電気車両、電気自転車(E−bike)及び電気スクーター(E−scooter)を包含する電気二輪車、電気ゴルフカート(electric golf cart)又は電力貯蔵用システムであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
