図5及び図6はそれぞれ、外壁V1,V2のそれぞれに取り付けられた竪樋支持具1Cの一部を示す断面図である。図5及び図6に示すように、外壁V1,V2は、外壁Wとは異なり、且つ互いに異なる形状を有する。上述した作用効果によって、竪樋支持具1Cは例えば外壁V1,V2にも対応し、安定して固定される。また、外壁W,V1,V2とは互いに異なる形状の壁面等にも対応することができる。

次いで、嵌合筒部36の把持部74,74に姿勢確認用突出部53を嵌入する。そして、竪樋Tを竪樋支持具1Cの近傍へ運び、竪樋Tの取付リブ63と嵌合筒部36の嵌入溝71とを対向させる。この際、竪樋Tが鉛直方向に延在しているか確認するために、鉛直方向の基準として姿勢確認用突出部53を参考にすればよい。
続いて、竪樋Tを嵌合筒部36側へ移動させ、取付リブ63の係止部65を取付リブ把持部72の係止片73へ押し付ける。そして、取付リブ63の係止部65を取付リブ把持部72の係止片73へ押し付け、一対の取付リブ把持部72,72を互いに離間する方向へ弾性変形させ、嵌入溝71に取付リブ63を嵌入する。これにより、図7に示すように、一対の取付リブ把持部72,72が取付リブ63を挟持する。また、取付リブ把持部72の係止片73が竪樋Tの溝部61に挿入され、竪樋Tの取付リブ63が嵌合筒部36の嵌入溝71に装着される。
その後、竪樋支持具1Aを組み立てる工程と同様に、嵌合筒部36を適宜弾性変形させて、取付部材2の嵌合凸部20及び固定部材4Aの他端28bに球面嵌合させる。なお、竪樋Tの取付リブ63は上記球面嵌合を行う前に嵌入溝71に嵌入してもよく、上記球面嵌合を行った後に嵌入溝71に嵌入してもよい。
