気圧センサ19は、スマートフォン1に作用する気圧を測定できる。気圧センサ19は、気圧センサの一例である。気圧センサ19は、測定した気圧値をコントローラ10に出力する。気圧センサ19は、自機に作用する気圧の測定結果に基づいて、単位時間あたりの気圧変化量をコントローラ10に出力することもできる。気圧変化量は、絶対値もしくはスカラー量を累積した値であってよい。単位時間は、任意の時間を設定してよい。

スマートフォン1は、上記の各機能部の他、GPS受信機、及びバイブレータを備えてもよい。GPS受信機は、GPS衛星からの所定の周波数帯の電波信号を受信する。GPS受信機は、受信した電波信号の復調処理を行って、処理後の信号をコントローラ10に送出する。GPS受信機は、スマートフォン1の現在位置の演算処理をサポートする。スマートフォン1は、GPS衛星以外の測位用人工衛星の信号を受信可能な受信機を備え、現在位置の演算処理を実行してもよい。バイブレータは、スマートフォン1の一部又は全体を振動させる。バイブレータは、振動を発生させるために、例えば、圧電素子、又は偏心モータなどを有する。スマートフォン1は、バッテリなど、スマートフォン1の機能を維持するために当然に用いられる機能部、及びスマートフォン1の制御を実現するために当然に用いられる制御部を実装する。

スマートフォン1は、通信ユニット6を介してクラウド上の記憶サーバにアクセスし、交差点の位置情報が付加された地図情報を受信する処理を実行してもよい。交差点の位置情報が付加された地図情報は、記憶サーバに予め記憶させておけばよい。スマートフォン1は、交差点の位置情報が付加された地図情報を参照することができる。交差点の位置情報は、例えば、交差点を代表する位置座標等を含む。

スマートフォン1は、自機のユーザ100が所定の移動態様により移動中であるかを判定する。スマートフォン1は、自機のユーザ100が所定の移動態様(例えば、徒歩)により移動中であると判定すると、ユーザの交差点への接近を路側機200から発信される電波の受信によって検出する。あるいは、スマートフォン1は、GPS衛星等の測位用人工衛星の信号および交差点の位置情報が付加された地図情報を受信し、交差点への接近を検出してもよい。すなわち、スマートフォン1は、GPS衛星等の測位用人工衛星の信号に基づき算出した現在位置と、受信した前記地図情報に付加された交差点の位置情報と、を比較して、例えば、現在位置の位置座標と、交差点を代表する位置座標との間の距離が所定値になるとき、交差点範囲内の交差点への接近を検出してもよい。
