本発明の鳥害防止具を装着する際は、凹部に線状体又は棒状体をはめ込んで装着する。鳥害防止体を複数連ねて、鳥害防止具とする場合は、あらかじめ、鳥害防止体同士をつなげて鳥害防止具としておき、現場では、鳥害防止具を装着するだけとするのがより好ましい。
例えば、工場であらかじめ、鳥害防止体(図1〜3)を、適当な長さになるまで、つなげ、鳥害防止具としておく。これを、現場に運び、電線の張られている高所に運び、Ω状凹部の首部分2(図1〜3)を拡げて最初の巻きを電線にはめ込む。続いて、同じく首部分を拡げながら、後続の巻きを、次々とはめ込んでいく。はめ込んだ後に、一方の末端を固定し、コイルを電線方向に拡げ、他の末端も固定する。さらには、必要に応じて、中間部分を固定してもよい。末端は、例えばあらかじめ、鈎状にしておき、隣のコイルや、電柱に連結してもよい。末端や中間部分の固定は、針金、結束バンド、ラッピングタイのようなもので固定するようにしてもよいし、冶具5のようなもので、電線に固定してもよい(図11)。針金の類を使用するときは、これらが一定間隔で鳥害防止具に取り付けられていると、別部品とする煩わしさがなく、好ましい。冶具を使う場合、冶具の形状に制限はないが、例えば、屋根型のもの(図11A)と留め具7で、鳥害防止具を固定してもよい(図11B)。冶具5を、鳥害防止具の凹部上部分6を挟むようにして電線4の上に配し(図11C)、留め具7で固定する(図11B)。
コイル状鳥害防止具の場合、つなげる作業は不要だが他は、鳥害防止体と同様に装着する。
このように、線状体又は棒状体に装着するのに凹部をはめ込むだけ、例えば、オーム状凹部の首部分2(図1〜4)を拡げて電線にはめ、末端を固定するだけという手間の少ない方法で、鳥害防止具を電線に取り付けることができる。

The end may be hooked in advance, for example, and connected to an adjacent coil or telephone pole. The terminal or the intermediate portion may be fixed with a wire, a binding band, a wrapping tie or the like, or may be fixed with a jig 5 to the electric wire (FIG. 11). When wires are used, it is preferable that they are attached to the bird harm prevention device at regular intervals, because they do not have to be provided as separate components. When using a jig, the shape of the jig is not limited. For example, a bird damage prevention tool may be fixed by a roof type (FIG. 11A) and a fastener 7 (FIG. 11B). The jig 5 is arranged on the electric wire 4 so as to sandwich the upper portion 6 of the concave portion of the bird harm prevention device (FIG. 11C), and is fixed with the fastener 7 (FIG. 11B).
In the case of the coiled bird harm prevention device, the connecting work is not necessary, but the other parts are installed like the bird harm prevention body.
In this way, it is troublesome to simply fit the concave portion in order to mount the linear or rod-shaped body, for example, to expand the neck portion 2 (FIGS. 1 to 4) of the ohmic concave portion, fit it to the electric wire, and fix the end. The bird harm prevention device can be attached to the electric wire in a small number of ways.
