Claims (10)
- ソース基地局の通信品質の向上方法であって、
RLC UM(Radio Link Unacknowledge Mode)でIPに基づく音声トラフィック(traffic)に対するパケット(packet)を端末へ送信する段階と、
前記ソース基地局からターゲット基地局へハンドオーバーが開始される前に、前記RLC UMでの再送信のために前記パケットのうちの少なくとも一つのパケットを記憶する段階と、
記憶されたパケット数が1又は2に設定される制限値を超えるか否かを確認する段階と、
記憶されたパケット数が前記制限値を超える場合、記憶されたパケットのうちの最も古いパケットを削除する段階と、
前記ソース基地局から前記ターゲット基地局へのハンドオーバーが決定されると、ハンドオーバーコマンドメッセージを転送する前に、前記ターゲット基地局に前記記憶された少なくとも1つのパケットを送信する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記端末から受信した測定報告(measurement report)に基づいて、前記ソース基地局から前記ターゲット基地局へのハンドオーバーを決定する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記記憶する段階は、
バッファリング(buffering)設定パケット数に基づいて、ハンドオーバーの開始前に端末へ送信した最後のパケットを記憶する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記IPに基づく音声トラフィックは、VoLTE(Voice over LTE)トラフィックであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- QCI設定に基づいてVoLTEトラフィックを判定する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 移動通信ネットワークで通信品質向上のためのソース基地局の装置であって、
少なくとも一つのネットワークノードと通信する送受信部と、
RLC UM(Radio Link Unacknowledge Mode)でIPに基づく音声トラフィック(traffic)に対するパケット(packet)を端末へ送信し、前記ソース基地局からターゲット基地局へハンドオーバーが開始される前に、前記RLC UMでの再送信のために前記パケットのうちの少なくとも一つのパケットを記憶し、記憶されたパケット数が1又は2に設定される制限値を超えるか否かを確認し、記憶されたパケット数が前記制限値を超える場合、記憶されたパケットのうちの最も古いパケットを削除し、前記ソース基地局から前記ターゲット基地局へのハンドオーバーが決定されると、ハンドオーバーコマンドメッセージを転送する前に、前記ターゲット基地局に前記記憶された少なくとも1つのパケットを送信するように制御する制御部と、を含むことを特徴とする、装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記端末から受信した測定報告(measurement report)に基づいて、前記ソース基地局から前記ターゲット基地局へのハンドオーバーを決定するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記パケット記憶時、バッファリング(buffering)設定パケット数に基づいて、前記ハンドオーバーの開始前の端末へ送信した最後のパケットを記憶するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の装置。 - 前記IPに基づく音声トラフィックは、VoLTE(Voice over LTE)トラフィックであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記制御部は、
QCI設定に基づいてVoLTEトラフィックを判定することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の装置。
