Claims (8)
- 炭素又はグラファイトをベースにしたアルミニウム電解槽用のカソードブロック(20)であり、該カソードブロック(20)は、該カソードブロック(20)の長手方向に延伸する少なくとも1つの溝(26)を有し、前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)のうち少なくとも1つが、前記カソードブロック(20)の長手方向に沿って、多様な深さを有しており、前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)の中には少なくとも1つの母線(28)が設けられており、前記少なくとも1つの母線(28)と、多様な深さを持つ前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)を境界づける壁(32、34)との間の中間スペース(56)には少なくとも部分的に充填材が充填されていて、該充填材が、0.1%未満の低い炭素含有量、0.1%未満のシリコン含有量、及び0.05%未満のリン含有量を有する鋼鉄であり、前記中間スペース(56)に少なくとも部分的に充填されている前記充填材が、前記少なくとも1つの母線(28)を構成している鋼鉄と同じ材料であり、前記多様な深さを持つ少なくとも1つの溝(26)のうち少なくとも1つが、その中心部よりもその長手方向の両端部で深さがより浅くなっている、カソードブロック(20)。
- 前記中間スペース(56)の少なくとも50%に前記充填材が充填されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のカソードブロック(20)。
- 前記中間スペース(56)の少なくとも50%に前記充填材が充填されており、該充填材と、多様な深さを持つ前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)を境界づける前記壁(32、34)との間に鋳鉄が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のカソードブロック(20)。
- 前記中間スペース(56)の少なくとも50%に前記充填材が充填されており、前記母線と、多様な深さを持つ前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)を境界づける前記壁との間に、前記充填材として、1つ又は複数の鋼鉄製のプレート又は球体が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のカソードブロック(20)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの溝(26)のそれぞれが、少なくとも矩形の断面を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のカソードブロック(20)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの母線(28)が、少なくとも直方体形状に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のカソードブロック(20)。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のカソードブロック(20)を少なくとも1つ含むカソード構造体。
- 金属を製造する溶融塩電解を実施するための、請求項7に記載のカソード構造体の使用。
