Description
Claims (25)
- 材料が排出される複数の開口部と、
100℃以上の高温で排出される前記材料を保持する少なくとも1つのチャンバと、
前記少なくとも1つのチャンバを前記複数の開口部と接続する複数のチャネルと、
前記複数の開口部へ入り前記材料の滴を前記複数の開口部から排出するための複数の駆動ピンと、
を備える、ピン駆動型印字ヘッドであって、
前記印字ヘッドは高温で10,000cP以上の粘度を有する材料を排出するよう構成され、
前記少なくとも1つのチャンバは、前記材料を0.17Mpa以上の圧力で保持するように構成され、前記複数の駆動ピンの発射周波数を100Hz〜2000Hzの間に確保する、ピン駆動型印字ヘッド。 - 第1の開位置において、前記複数の駆動ピンにより材料が関連付けられた開口部内へ入ることが可能となり、第2の閉位置において、前記複数の駆動ピンは関連付けられたチャネル内の材料が前記関連付けられた開口部へ入ることを阻止し、一方で同時に前記関連付けられた開口部へ入り前記材料を排出する、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンの各々の前記第1の開位置における持続時間により、排出される前記材料の滴の量が判定される、請求項2に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 各開口部は、100μm〜300μmの直径を有する材料の滴を排出するよう構成され、前記複数の駆動ピンの前記発射周波数は、500Hz〜1500Hzの間である、請求項2に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記第2の閉位置において、前記複数の駆動ピンの各々は、前記開口部の外表面を規定する平面を通過して突き出す、請求項2に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンの動きを案内する複数のピンチャンバをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンを移動させる複数のアクチュエータモジュールをさらに備え、前記複数の駆動ピンは、秒速1メートル(M/s)以上の速度で移動し、20M/sec2以上の割合で減速される、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数のアクチュエータモジュールは、電磁アクチュエータおよび圧電アクチュエータのうちの少なくとも1つを備え、前記複数の駆動ピンは5M/s以上の速度で移動する、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチャンバは、200℃以上の高温で排出される前記材料を保持し、前記材料は、200℃で50,000cP以上の粘度を有するエンジニアリングポリマーである、請求項8に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記材料は、230℃の温度で500,000cP以上の粘度を有する、請求項9に記載の印刷ヘッド。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチャンバは、0.34MPa〜1.02MPaの圧力で前記材料を保持するよう構成される、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチャンバは、300℃以上の高温で前記材料を保持するよう構成される、請求項10に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記少なくとも1つのチャンバは複数のチャンバを備え、前記複数のチャンバの各々1つが前記複数の開口部の1つ以上と関連付けられ、前記複数のチャンバの各々1つが材料を前記関連付けられた開口部へ提供する、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数のチャンバは複数の異なる材料を保持し、各チャンバは材料を前記関連付けられた開口部へ提供する、請求項13に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数のアクチュエータモジュールは、前記少なくとも1つのチャンバ、前記複数の開口部、および材料から離され、それにより、前記少なくとも1つのチャンバ、前記複数の開口部、および材料を、前記複数のアクチュエータモジュールより高い温度まで加熱することができる、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンは金属ワイヤを備える、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンは、低接着力の塗装膜で被覆され、排出された前記材料の前記複数の駆動ピンの先端からの分離を容易にする、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンの動きを案内する複数のピンチャンバをさらに含み、前記複数の駆動ピンは、段階的な構成を有し、前記複数のピンチャンバは、前記複数の駆動ピンの段階的な構成に係合して前記複数の駆動ピンの動きを止めるよう構成される、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンの動きを案内する複数のピンチャンバをさらに含み、前記複数の駆動ピンは、段階的な構成を有し、前記複数のピンチャンバは、前記複数の駆動ピンの段階的な構成に係合して密閉部を提供するよう構成される、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の開口部の各々は、前記複数のアクチュエータモジュールのうちの1つと関連付けられ、前記複数のアクチュエータモジュールは、関連付けられる開口部間の空間よりも離れた距離だけ互いに離されている、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数の駆動ピンの各々1つのタイミングは、前記複数の駆動ピンの各々1つにより排出される前記材料の滴が一定のサイズであるよう制御される、請求項3に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記第1の開位置における前記複数の駆動ピンの各々1つの持続時間は、排出される前記材料の滴のサイズが多様であり得るよう制御される、請求項2に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記印字ヘッドは、排出された前記材料の滴が前記開口部から印刷される物体の表面へ進む際に浮揚するよう、排出された前記材料の滴を受ける前記表面から離される、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記印字ヘッドは、前記複数の駆動ピンが排出された前記材料の滴を印刷される物体の表面へ運ぶよう、排出された前記材料の滴を受ける前記表面の近くに離される、請求項1に記載の印字ヘッド。
- 前記複数のアクチュエータは、前記複数のアクチュエータの動きを増幅するレバーアームまたは屈曲部のうちの1つを介して前記複数の駆動ピンを駆動する、請求項7に記載の印字ヘッド。
