Description
患者自身が取扱う自己治療ユニットの使用が広がるにつれて、患者の治療計画がどのように守られているかを知る必要がある内科医および看護師などの介護者に情報を提供する要求が高まっている。このように、計画の進捗を監視するための要望が大きくなっており、その局面で、薬剤送達装置の使用を監視して監視からのデータを記憶することと、記憶されたデータを外部の装置に通信して監視データをさらに処理することとの両方のために、多数の薬剤送達装置に付加的な機能性が設けられている。
本願では、「遠位部/端」という用語は、装置の使用の際に患者の送達部位から最も遠く離れて位置する装置の部分/端またはその部材の部分/端を指す。対応して、「近位部/端」という用語は、装置の使用の際に患者の送達部位の最も近くに位置する装置の部分/端またはその部材の部分/端を指す。
本発明で用い得る薬剤送達装置の例を図面に示す。これは、図1の遠端12および近端14を有するほぼ管状の細長い筐体10を備える。筐体10には、開口または窓16がさらに配置され、これを通してほぼ管状の薬剤容器18を見ることができる。薬剤容器18は薬剤容器ホルダ20の中に置かれる。各々の窓16には内向きのリング状の周方向棚状突起22が配置される。図3に見られるように、支持壁24が周方向棚状突起22に装着され、支持壁24には中央通路26が配置される。中央通路26の端縁および窓16の周方向棚状突起22の内側端縁が薬剤容器ホルダ20の支持面を形成する。薬剤容器18には可動ストッパ28が配置される。薬剤容器18は近端を有し、この上に、薬剤容器18と一体化されてまたはこれと接続可能に図2の薬剤送達部材30が配置される。薬剤送達部材30は好ましくは、使用前は、示される実施形態ではいわゆる剛性針シールドまたはRNSである薬剤送達部材シールド32によって保護される。しかしながら、薬剤送達部材30の所望の保護を得るために、他の種類の薬剤送達部材シールドを用いてもよいことを理解すべきである。
Claims (15)
- 薬剤送達装置のための監視ユニット(200,302)であって、
筐体(202,300)と、
前記筐体(202,300)の中に配置され、前記薬剤送達装置の機能を前記薬剤送達装置が使用された際に検出しかつ監視することができる監視回路(400)と、
前記薬剤送達装置への解放可能な取付けのための解放可能な係止要素(208,306)が配置された装着機構と、
前記薬剤送達装置上に配置される嵌め合い機械インターフェイスと相互作用するように配置される機械インターフェイス(231,318)と、
前記機械インターフェイスの中に配置され且つ前記監視回路(400)を活性化するように配置される活性化スイッチ(242,320)とを備え、
前記薬剤送達装置には、前記機械インターフェイスの中に配置され且つ前記薬剤送達装置の駆動要素(98,104)に動作可能に接続される活性化器要素(114)が配置され、前記薬剤送達装置が使用された際に前記駆動要素(98,104)は、用量送達シーケンスの間に前記活性化器要素(114)を遠位方向に押しやって前記活性化スイッチ(242,320)に対して作用する、監視ユニット。 - 前記監視ユニットが前記薬剤送達装置に装着された際に前記薬剤送達装置との接触によって活性化される他の活性化スイッチ(238)をさらに備え、
前記機械インターフェイスは、同心状に配置される複数のリング(232)を含み、
前記他の活性化スイッチ(238)は、径方向において隣り合う2つの前記リング(232)の間に配置される、請求項1に記載の監視ユニット。 - 前記活性化スイッチは前記監視回路を活性化するように動作可能に配置される少なくとも1つの電気スイッチを備える、請求項1または2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチは、前記薬剤送達装置が動作されるときに生成される振動を検出するように配置される振動センサ(500)である、請求項1または2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチはリードスイッチ(502)またはホールスイッチ(514)であり、前記活性化器要素(114)には、前記薬剤送達装置が動作されると前記リードスイッチまたは前記ホールスイッチによって検出されるように配置される磁石(504)が配置される、請求項2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチは、前記薬剤送達装置が動作されると光線が遮断されるように配置される光スイッチである、請求項1または2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチは、前記薬剤送達装置の動作の間の前記活性化器要素の移動を検出するように前記活性化器要素に対して位置決めされる容量性近接センサまたは超音波センサである、請求項2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化器要素は、前記活性化スイッチから導出可能なさらなる情報を備える、請求項2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチはRGB色センサを備え、前記活性化器要素にはある特定の色が設けられ、特定の色は送達すべき薬に関するある情報に関連付けられる、請求項8に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチはバーコードリーダまたはQRリーダであり、前記活性化器要素には、送達すべき薬に関する情報を含有するバーコードまたはQRコードが配置される、請求項2に記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記活性化スイッチはRFID/NFCリーダであり、前記活性化器要素には、送達すべき薬に関する情報を含有するRFID/NFCタグが配置される、請求項2に記載の監視ユニット。
- データを外部データ取扱いソースに送信するように動作可能に配置される通信回路(414)をさらに備える、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記通信回路(414)は、外部データ提供ソースからデータを受信するように動作可能に配置される、請求項12に記載の監視ユニット。
- データをユーザと通信するように動作可能に配置されるユーザ通信回路(408)をさらに備える、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の監視ユニット。
- 前記装着機構は、薬剤送達装置上の嵌め合い係止要素と相互作用するように配置される多数の可撓係止要素(208,306)を備える、請求項1に記載の監視ユニット。
