Claims (20)
- メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツのフィンガープリントが、異なるそれぞれのチャネルとそれぞれ対応する複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致するとコンピューティングシステムによって決定することと、
前記フィンガープリントが、異なるそれぞれのチャネルとそれぞれ対応する前記複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することに応答して、前記メディア提示デバイスがどのチャネル上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信しているかを決定するために、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの時間に少なくとも部分的に基づいて曖昧性排除を実施することと、
前記決定されたチャネルに基づいてアクションを取ることと
を含む方法であって、
前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間に少なくとも部分的に基づいて曖昧性排除を実施することは、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間を決定することと、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちのどの1つが、前記メディア提示デバイスがその上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信している前記チャネルと対応するかを決定するための基礎として、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記決定された時間を使用することとを含み、
前記一致する参照フィンガープリントの各々が、ブロードキャストの対応する時間を有し、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちのどの1つが、前記メディア提示デバイスがその上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信している前記チャネルと対応するかを決定するための基礎として、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記決定された時間を使用することは、(i)前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記決定された時間を、各一致する参照フィンガープリントのブロードキャストの対応する時間と比較することと、(ii)前記比較することに基づいて、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間が、前記1つの一致する参照フィンガープリントと対応するブロードキャストの前記時間だけに一致すると決定することとを含む、

前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツの前記フィンガープリントを前記メディア提示デバイスから前記コンピューティングシステムによって受信すること
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の参照フィンガープリントが、参照データ中の複数の参照フィンガープリントから選択され、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツの前記フィンガープリントが前記複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することは、
前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツの前記フィンガープリントを前記参照データ中の前記複数の参照フィンガープリントと比較することと、
前記比較することに基づいて、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツの前記フィンガープリントが前記複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することと
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の参照フィンガープリントを含む複数一致グループを検出しフラグ付けすることをさらに含み、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されているメディアコンテンツの前記フィンガープリントが前記複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することは、前記フィンガープリントが、前記フラグ付けされた複数一致グループの前記参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間を決定することが、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間を示すものを前記メディア提示デバイスから明示的または暗黙的に受信することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間を決定することが、現在の時間を、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間であるものと見なすことを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記比較することに基づいて、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間が、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちの別の1つに一致しないと決定することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記決定されたチャネルに基づいてアクションを取ることは、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツとともに補助チャネル固有コンテンツが提示させられることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

前記メディア提示デバイスがどのチャネル上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信しているかを前記コンピューティングシステムによって決定することであって、前記メディア提示デバイスがどのチャネル上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信しているかを決定することは、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの時間が、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちのただ1つのブロードキャストの前記対応する時間に一致すると決定することに少なくとも基づき、前記決定されたチャネルが、前記1つの一致する参照フィンガープリントと対応する前記チャネルである、ことと、
前記チャネルを前記決定することに基づいてアクションを取ることと
を含む方法であって、
前記一致する参照フィンガープリントの各々が、ブロードキャストの対応する時間を有し、
前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間が、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちのただ1つのブロードキャストの前記対応する時間に一致すると決定することは、(i)前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間を決定することと、(ii)前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記決定された時間を、各一致する参照フィンガープリントのブロードキャストの対応する時間と比較することと、(iii)前記比較することに基づいて、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間が、前記1つの一致する参照フィンガープリントと対応するブロードキャストの前記時間だけに一致すると決定することとを含む、

前記受信されたフィンガープリントが、異なるそれぞれのチャネルとそれぞれ対応する複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することと、
前記受信されたフィンガープリントが、異なるそれぞれのチャネルとそれぞれ対応する前記複数の参照フィンガープリントに一致すると決定することに応答して、前記メディア提示デバイスがどのチャネル上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信しているかを決定するために、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間に少なくとも部分的に基づいて曖昧性排除を実施することと、
前記決定されたチャネルに基づいてアクションを取ることと
を含む動作を行うように前記処理ユニットによって実行可能であり、
前記一致する参照フィンガープリントの各々が、ブロードキャストの対応する時間を有し、前記メディア提示デバイスがどのチャネル上で前記メディアコンテンツを受信しているかを決定するために、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間に少なくとも部分的に基づいて曖昧性排除を実施することは、(i)前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記決定された時間を、各一致する参照フィンガープリントのブロードキャストの対応する時間と比較することと、(ii)前記比較することに基づいて、前記メディア提示デバイスによって表示されている前記メディアコンテンツのブロードキャストの前記時間が、前記一致する参照フィンガープリントのうちの1つと対応するブロードキャストの前記時間だけに一致すると決定することと、(iii)前記1つの一致するフィンガープリントと対応する前記チャネルを、前記決定されたチャネルであると見なすこととを含む、

前記決定されたチャネルに基づいてアクションを取ることと
を含む方法であって、
