Description
Claims (11)
- 三次元オブジェクトプリンタであって、
材料を排出するように構成された複数のインクジェットを有する少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドと、
選択的に回転するように構成されたシャフトと、
前記シャフトの円形断面との接線で光を発するように配置された少なくとも1つの光源と、
前記シャフトの前記円形断面との前記接線上で光を受け取るように配置された少なくとも1つの光センサと、
前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッド、前記シャフト、前記少なくとも1つの光源、および前記少なくとも1つの光センサに動作可能に接続されたコントローラとを備え、
前記コントローラは、前記シャフト上に材料を排出するように前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッド内の前記インクジェットの第1のグループを動作させ、前記シャフト上の材料が前記少なくとも1つの光源と前記少なくとも1つの光センサとの間で前記シャフトの前記円形断面との前記接線上に存在して、前記少なくとも1つの光センサが前記シャフト上の複数の位置で材料の高さを示す信号を生成できる位置に前記シャフトを回転させ、前記少なくとも1つの光センサによって生成され前記信号を期待される高さの値と比較して、前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッド内の動作不能なインクジェットを識別するように構成される、三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。 - ワイパーをさらに備え、前記コントローラは前記ワイパーに動作可能に接続され、前記コントローラはさらに、前記シャフト上に排出された前記材料を前記シャフトから除去するために前記ワイパーを動かすように構成される、請求項1に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、前記少なくとも1つの光センサが前記シャフト上の前記複数の位置で材料の前記高さを示す信号を生成できる前記位置に前記シャフトを回転させた後、前記シャフト上に材料を排出するように前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッド内のインクジェットの第2のグループを動作させるように構成され、インクジェットの前記第1のグループは、インクジェットの前記第2のグループと異なる、請求項2に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドに動作可能に接続されたアクチュエータをさらに備え、前記コントローラは、前記アクチュエータに動作可能に接続され、前記コントローラはさらに、前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッド内の前記複数のインクジェットが前記シャフト上に材料を排出できるように、前記アクチュエータを動作させて、前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドが駆動されてオブジェクトを構築するエリアから前記シャフトに最も近い位置に前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドを動かすように構成される、請求項1に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドが駆動されてオブジェクトを構築する前記エリアにおいて前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドが所定数の動作を行った後、前記アクチュエータを動作させて、前記シャフトに最も近い前記位置に前記少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドを動かすように構成される、請求項4に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、インクジェットの前記第1のグループを2回以上の所定回数動作させて、インクジェットの前記第1のグループに対応する、前記シャフト上の複数の位置に材料を蓄積させるように構成される、請求項5に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光源および前記少なくとも1つの光センサは、前記シャフトの縦方向の長さに沿って移動するように構成される、請求項1に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光源はさらに、前記シャフト上の前記複数の位置に対応するように配置された複数の発光器を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの光センサはさらに、前記複数の発光器と向き合うように配置された複数の光受容器を含む、請求項1に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。 - 前記複数の光源および前記複数の光受容器はそれぞれ、前記シャフトの縦方向の長さ全体に亘って線形アレイに並べられる、請求項8に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記複数の光受容器および前記複数の光受容器はそれぞれ、前記シャフトの縦方向の長さ全体に亘って二次元アレイに並べられる、請求項8に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
- 前記シャフトはさらに、排出された液滴と前記シャフトの三次元画像データを前記少なくとも1つの光センサで生成できるように、前記少なくとも1つの光源と前記少なくとも1つの光センサとの間で3つの位置を通って回転するように構成される、請求項8に記載の三次元オブジェクトプリンタ。
