Description

Claims (8)
- 太陽電池組立体であって、
a)第1の方向に互いに隣接する少なくとも2つの太陽電池構成要素であって、それぞれが、
i. 隣接する太陽電池構成要素の部分的陥凹と連通している部分的陥凹と、
ii.前記第1の方向と平行ではない第2の方向に整列される1つ以上のコネクタレセプタと
を備えるものと、
b)少なくも部分的に前記太陽電池構成要素の前記部分的陥凹内、かつ少なくとも部分的に前記隣接する太陽電池構成要素の前記部分的陥凹内に配置されるコネクタであって、前記太陽電池構成要素を前記隣接する太陽電池構成要素に接続するようにし、
i. 第1の端及び第2の端を有するハウジング、
ii. 前記第1の端の1つ以上の接続ポート、
iii.前記第2の端の1つ以上の接続ポート、
iv. 前記第1の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポートから前記第2の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポートへと延在する1つ以上の可撓性電気導体、及び
v. 前記ハウジング内の1つ以上の可撓性領域を
備えるものと
を含み、
前記コネクタは、前記第1の端及び前記第2の端が、平面内、平面外、またはこれらの両方において互いに相対的に移動可能であるように、可撓性であり、
前記コネクタは、前記太陽電池構成要素を前記隣接する太陽電池構成要素に電気的に接続するように、前記第1の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポート及び前記第2の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポートが、前記太陽電池構成要素及び前記隣接する太陽電池構成要素の前記1つ以上のコネクタレセプタとの接続を形成し、
前記第1の端及び前記第2の端はそれぞれ端子カバーを含み、その端子カバーはロック特徴部を含み、前記ハウジングは、前記太陽電池構成要素のロック部分コネクタと嵌合接続を形成するロック部分を含む太陽電池組立体。 - 前記ロック特徴部は、前記太陽電池構成要素のラッチ機構と接続される請求項1に記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 前記ハウジングは、当該ハウジングが接続状態のときに動くように十分に可撓性であるが、当該ハウジング上の点を介して前記コネクタを把持し移動させる使用者によって、前記コネクタが前記接続状態へと移動され得るように、十分な剛性及び/または硬さを含む請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 前記1つ以上の可撓性電気導体は、絶縁される請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 前記1つ以上の導体は、実質的に平坦な形状であり、前記1つ以上の導体の幅が、前記1つ以上の導体が前記第1の端から前記第2の端へ湾曲する際に立つように、前記1つ以上の導体の1つの部分がねじれている請求項4に記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 前記太陽電池構成要素は、太陽電池モジュールであり、その太陽電池モジュールは、屋根材構造体に直接接続され、屋根材機能を提供する請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 前記ハウジングは、概してU字型である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の太陽電池組立体。
- 太陽電池アレイを組み立てる方法であって、
a.所望の場所に太陽電池構成要素を配置する工程と、
b.前記太陽電池構成要素と隣接する第2の太陽電池構成要素を配置すること及び前記太陽電池構成要素の部分的陥凹を前記第2の太陽電池構成要素の部分的陥凹と整列させる工程と、
c.コネクタを、前記太陽電池構成要素の前記部分的陥凹に挿入する工程と、
d.前記コネクタを、前記第2の太陽電池構成要素の前記部分的陥凹に挿入する工程と、
e.前記太陽電池構成要素と第2の太陽電池構成要素との間に電気的接続、物理的接続、またはこれらの両方を形成する工程と
を含み、
前記コネクタは、
i. 第1の端及び第2の端を有する可撓性ハウジング、
ii. 前記第1の端の1つ以上の接続ポート、
iii.前記第2の端の1つ以上の接続ポート、及び
iv. 前記第1の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポートから前記第2の端の前記1つ以上の接続ポートへと延在する1つ以上の電気導体と
を備え、
前記可撓性ハウジングは、前記第1の端及び前記第2の端が、平面内、平面外、またはこれらの両方において互いに相対的に移動可能であるように可撓性であり、
前記第1の端及び前記第2の端はそれぞれ端子カバーを含み、その端子カバーはロック特徴部を含み、前記可撓性ハウジングは、前記太陽電池構成要素のロック部分コネクタと嵌合接続を形成するロック部分を含む方法。
