Description

(b)外側部材の内腔に挿入可能な内側部材であって、フランジと、中央リングと、延伸部と、内腔と、少なくとも1つの開口であって、液体が内側部材の内腔に通され、外側部材の延伸部に送り込まれ、外側部材の先端部の放出オリフィスから出るとき、空気を内側部材の内腔に排出するために外側部材の前記複数の空気排出開口と協働する少なくとも1つの開口とを有する内側部材。ノズル先端部の半球状に終端された穴であるが両側の4つの壁(各側に2つの壁)で仕切られたスロット切断部の相互作用によって形成された放出オリフィスの構造の形状は、切頭楕円形である。
Claims (10)
- 芝生などの植物に流体を噴霧するためのノズルであって、
(a)フランジと、中央セクションと、先端部で終端する円筒状延伸部と、その中を通って延在する内腔と、複数の空気排出開口とを有する外側部材であって、前記先端部が外側表面と、軸、頂点、ならびに第1および第2の側部を有するスロットによって画定される放出オリフィスとを含み、前記側部のそれぞれが第1および第2の対応する壁部材によって画定され、
(i)前記第1および第2の側部の前記第1壁部材が、前記頂点からそれらの各側部に向かって、互いに鋭角で、「V」字構成で、前記頂点から離間された各対向縁部まで延在し、
(ii)前記各第2壁部材のそれぞれが、対応する各第1壁部材の前記縁部から、対応する第1壁部材に対して鈍角で、前記先端部の外側表面に向かって延在する、外側部材と、
(b)前記外側部材の前記内腔に挿入可能な内側部材であって、フランジと、中央リングと、延伸部と、内腔と、少なくとも1つの開口であって、液体が前記内側部材の前記内腔に通され、前記外側部材の前記延伸部に送り込まれ、前記外側部材の前記先端部の前記放出オリフィスから出るとき、空気を前記内側部材の前記内腔に排出するために前記外側部材の前記複数の空気排出開口と協働する少なくとも1つの開口とを有する内側部材と
を含むノズル。 - 噴霧器ブーム上のアレイに配置された複数の請求項1に記載のノズル。

- 前記流体を噴霧することが約4.5度の傾斜角度を使用して前記流体を噴霧することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記流体を噴霧することが約6.5度の傾斜角度を使用して前記流体を噴霧することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記流体を噴霧することが約9.0度の傾斜角度を使用して前記流体を噴霧することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記傾斜角度が、後方に面する角度である、請求項4に記載の方法。
