Description
本特許出願は、2012年10月22日出願の米国特許出願第13/657,310号の一部継続出願である。この出願の全内容は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、例えば、骨格成熟患者における固定術を可能とする脊椎セグメントの安定な固定に関する。より詳細には、本発明は、例えば、腰椎すべり症、変性円板疾患、骨折、脱臼、脊髄腫瘍、失敗した以前の固定術、などの脊椎の種々の状態の治療において脊椎の椎骨に取り付けて狭める機能(又は広げる機能)を付与することができ、また、固定することができる骨固定装置に関する。本発明はまた、骨平板固定装置を導入し、移植する方法に関する。
Claims (6)
- 第1の開口部及び第2の開口部を備えたプレートであって、陥凹部を含むプレートと、
前記第1の開口部を通して挿入可能であり、第1の締め付けボールに適応するよう構成された第1のポステッドスクリューであって、前記第1の締め付けボールを介して多軸的に回転できる第1のポステッドスクリューと、
前記第2の開口部を通して挿入され、第2の締め付けボールに適応するよう構成された第2のポステッドスクリューであって、前記第2の締め付けボールを介して多軸的に回転でき、前記プレートの長さに沿って移動できる第2のポステッドスクリューと、
前記第2の開口部に沿って移動可能な一体型キャリッジと、を備え、
前記第2のポステッドスクリューは前記一体型キャリッジおよび前記第2の締め付けボールに収容され、
前記一体型キャリッジは、前記陥凹部に収容されるとともに、前記陥凹部の内壁に対する締め付けおよび係止のための伸長が可能であることにより、前記プレートに対する所望の方位および位置に前記第2のポステッドスクリューを固定し、
前記第2の締め付けボールは、前記第2の締め付けボールの拡大を補助する複数のスリットを含むプレートシステム。 - 前記第1のポステッドスクリューが、前記第1の開口部中に底部から挿入される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のポステッドスクリューが、前記第2の開口部中に底部から挿入される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の開口部の長さが前記第1の開口部よりも長い、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャリッジが、長方形の断面を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 第1の開口部及び第2の開口部を備えたプレートであって、前記第2の開口部の長さが前記第1の開口部よりも長く、陥凹部を含むプレートと、
前記第2の開口部中に収容される一体型キャリッジ及び伸長部材と、
前記第1の開口部を通して挿入可能であり、第1の締め付けボールに適応するよう構成された第1のポステッドスクリューと、
前記キャリッジ及び前記伸長部材を通じた底部装填により前記第2の開口部を通して挿入され、第2の締め付けボールに適応するよう構成された第2のポステッドスクリューと、
を備え、
前記第2のポステッドスクリューは、前記第2の開口部に沿って移動可能な前記一体型キャリッジ及び前記伸長部材に収容され、
前記一体型キャリッジは、前記陥凹部に収容されるとともに、前記陥凹部の内壁に対する締め付けおよび係止のための伸長が可能であることにより、前記プレートに対する所望の方位および位置に前記第2のポステッドスクリューを固定し、
前記伸長部材は、前記伸長部材の伸長を支援する複数のスリットを含むプレートシステム。
