Description
The present invention relates to an absorbent article including an absorbent main body in which an absorber is disposed between a liquid-impermeable back sheet and a top sheet.
It has an absorbent body with an absorbent body between a liquid-permeable top sheet and back sheet, such as diapers for children or adults, feminine hygiene products, light-moderate incontinence pads, and pet excretion disposal products. Various absorbent articles are known. In such an absorbent article, the absorbent body for absorbing and retaining liquids such as urine, mainly fluff pulp and highly absorbent resin, i.e., is the mixture of SAP (S uper a bsorbent p olymer ) It is comprised with an absorptive core and core coating materials, such as the tissue which wraps this absorptive core.
For such absorbent articles, lightweight and compact products called ultra-thin or ultra-thin are required from the viewpoint of saving resources, reducing logistics costs, and improving shelf efficiency at retail stores. This is becoming the current mainstream. The greatest point at which such an ultra-thin absorbent article can be realized is to reduce the weight of the absorbent body itself, which occupies most of the weight and volume of the absorbent article, and to make it compact. That is, the thinning of the absorbent core made of a mixture of fluffy pulp and SAP is realized by increasing the relative content of SAP or using sheet-like SAP instead of the mixture.
However, when the relative content of SAP in the absorber is increased or the thickness of the absorber is reduced using sheet-like SAP instead of the mixture, the SAP content is set higher than about 50 to 60%. Is basically difficult. The reason for this is the gel blocking phenomenon and absorption characteristics of SAP, and it is particularly problematic because it has a high absorption retention property of SAP, but its absorption speed, particularly the rising speed of absorption is slow. . For example, although the discharge rate of urine varies depending on individual differences, sex differences, age differences, etc., in the earliest example, 100 cc of urine is discharged in about 10 seconds. On the other hand, even if the absorption rate of SAP is improved, it takes a time of at least 30 seconds from the contact of the liquid to the state where the absorption capacity is fully exhibited. Due to such a large speed difference existing between the urine discharge rate and the liquid absorption rate by the SAP constituting a part of the absorber, most of the urine remains unabsorbed immediately after urine discharge. It will stay in the absorptive main body. This free movement of unabsorbed urine within the absorbent main body is a major cause of leakage of urine from the absorbent article.
For this reason, a compression recess is formed on the surface of the absorbent body for rapidly inducing and urinating urine from the crotch region of the absorbent main body from which urine is discharged to the front body region and the rear body region of the absorbent main body. A technique for suppressing urine leakage is proposed in Patent Document 1 and the like.
On the other hand, as the SAP content in the absorber is increased, the flexibility of the absorber itself tends to be lost. In the crotch region of the absorbent main body, a large torsional force is applied by the movement of the wearer of the absorbent article, particularly the movement of both legs, and thus the suppleness of the absorbent body is impaired. It leads to increase. Therefore, a technique in which lattice-shaped compressed grooves are formed on the surface of the absorbent main body, and the absorbent main body is easily bent from these compressed groove portions following the torsional force applied to the absorbent main body is cited in
The pressing recesses proposed in Patent Document 1 and the pressing grooves proposed in
However, when the grid-shaped compressed grooves disclosed in
An object of the present invention is to form a grid-shaped recess for ensuring flexibility and to have a uniform depth, and the surface sheet is not torn at the time of forming the recess, so that rigidity is provided over the entire area of the recess. The object is to provide an absorbent article that can be maintained substantially constant.
An absorbent article according to the present invention has an absorbent main body having a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a sheet-like absorbent body arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. An absorbent article in which a plurality of recesses are formed on the surface of the absorbent body on the surface sheet side, at any position that crosses the recesses along the width direction of the absorber, The sum of the lengths of the recesses along the width direction of the absorber is the same.
Here, the expression “the sum of the lengths of the recesses is the same” means that the object of the present invention described above is considered in consideration of uneven physical properties, dimensional errors and embossing errors associated with manufacturing errors of the absorbent main body. It is meant to be the same to the extent that it can be achieved. In addition, the “width direction of the absorbent body” means a direction parallel to the rotation axis of the molding roll when the concave portion is embossed on the absorbent body of the absorbent main body together with the top sheet, and the concave portion is embossed using the molding roll. When processing, the molding pressures of the individual recesses, that is, the linear pressures are all the same.
In the absorbent article according to the present invention, the individual recesses include a first pattern extending in a first direction intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, and a first pattern with respect to the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. Has a second pattern extending in a second direction intersecting in the opposite direction, and a plurality of these first patterns and second patterns are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorber. May be.
The “longitudinal direction of the absorbent body” is a direction orthogonal to the “width direction of the absorbent body”, that is, the rotation axis of the forming roll when embossing the recesses in the absorbent body of the absorbent main body together with the topsheet. It means the direction perpendicular to the direction.
Each of the first patterns is formed by discontinuously arranging a plurality of recesses, and each of the second patterns is formed by discontinuously arranging a plurality of recesses. Good. Alternatively, each of the first patterns is formed by a single recess extending in the first direction, and each of the second patterns is formed by a single recess extending in the second direction. Each may be formed.
It is preferable not to form a recess in the periphery of the absorber and in the vicinity thereof.
The absorbent article may be a urine absorbent pad. In this case, the absorbent main body is disposed on both sides in the width direction of the surface sheet so as to overlap the surface sheet, and a pair of side sheets whose outer edges in the width direction are joined to the back sheet, and the pair of side sheets. And an elastic member disposed in an extended state along the longitudinal direction of the side sheet.
A pair of side sheets disposed on both sides in the width direction of the absorbent main body so as to overlap the top sheet, and a pair of side sheets whose outer edges in the width direction are bonded to the exterior sheet; An elastic member arranged in an extended state along the longitudinal direction of the side sheet may be further provided at the inner edge in the width direction of the side sheet.
According to the absorbent article of this invention, when embossing a recessed part using a forming roll, all the molding pressures of each recessed part can be made the same. As a result, the surface sheet is not torn due to a change in molding pressure during molding of the recess, and the rigidity can be made substantially uniform over the entire area of the recess to be molded.
When each of the concave portions has a first pattern and a second pattern intersecting with the first pattern, and a plurality of these two patterns are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, particularly with respect to twisting The flexibility of the absorbent main body can be improved.
When each of the first and second patterns is formed by discontinuously arranging a plurality of recesses, the rigidity of the absorbent main body that increases with the formation of the recesses can be reduced.
When each of the first and second patterns is formed by a single recess extending in the first and second directions, respectively, the recess functions as a guide path for liquid such as urine, and the liquid is more It becomes possible to diffuse quickly.
When the concave portion is not formed in the periphery of the absorbent body and the vicinity thereof, it is possible to prevent a problem that the liquid guided to the vicinity of the peripheral edge of the absorbent main body by the concave portion overflows from the peripheral edge of the absorbent main body.
When the absorbent article is a urine absorbing pad, the absorbent main body further includes a pair of side sheets, and an elastic member arranged in an extended state on the inner edges of the side sheets in the width direction. The side sheet can be made to function as a three-dimensional gather for preventing the above.

The planar shape of the absorbent

The spacing of the
Accordingly, when a force that twists in the opposite direction around the longitudinal axis is applied to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent
In addition, since the liquid induced | guided | derived here may leak from the periphery of the
In the present embodiment, the arrangement intervals of the first and second patterns along the longitudinal direction of the
In the above-described embodiment, the first and second patterns are formed by discontinuously arranging the plurality of
Such a planar structure of another embodiment of the absorbent
Thereby, all the linear pressures at the time of embossing the
Note that the position of each
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the
A planar structure of still another embodiment of such an absorbent
Also in this embodiment, the liquid is guided over the entire area of the
