Claims (9)
- 極低温タンク組立体(12)であって、
内部容積(22)を有し、該内部容積(22)内に液化天然ガス(LNG)を収容するよう構成され、前記内部容積(22)に流体接続された第1の入口(46)と、前記内部容積(22)に流体接続された第1の出口(24)とを含む極低温タンク(18)と、
前記極低温タンク(18)の第1の入口(46)を対応する第1の出口(24)に流体接続するように、前記第1の入口(46)と前記第1の出口(24)との間で流体連通して結合される再循環導管(48)と、
前記再循環導管(48)に動作可能に接続されたコントローラと、
を備え、前記再循環導管(48)が、前記極低温タンク(18)の内部容積(22)の外部で前記入口と前記出口との間の経路に沿って延びて、前記再循環導管の経路が前記極低温タンク(18)の周囲環境に曝されるように構成され、前記再循環導管が、前記第1の出口(24)に流体接続された第2の入口と、対応する第1の入口(46)に流体接続された第2の出口とを備え、
前記再循環導管(48)がさらに、
前記内部容積から前記第1の出口を通じてLNG流を前記第2の入口内に受け取り、
前記極低温タンク(18)の周囲環境から前記LNG流に熱を伝達して、前記LNG流を気化した天然ガスの流れに変え、
前記気化した天然ガスの流れを前記第1の入口及び前記第2の出口を通じて前記極低温タンクの内部容積に注入する、
ように構成され、
前記第2の入口が、前記LNG流の受け取りを制御する少なくとも1つの第1の流れ制御構成要素を含み、
前記第2の出口が、前記天然ガスの流れの注入を制御する少なくとも1つの第2の流れ制御構成要素を含み、
前記再循環導管が、第1及び第2の再循環導管を備え、
前記第1の再循環導管が第1の経路に沿って延び、
前記極低温タンクが、内側面と外側面との間の厚さを延びる壁を含み、前記外側面が、前記極低温タンク(18)の周囲環境に直接曝されるように構成されており、
前記第1の経路が、前記壁の厚さ内のみで延びており、
前記第2の再循環導管が、前記第1の入口と前記第1の出口との間の第2の経路に沿って延び、前記第2の経路が、前記外側面の外部で延びて、前記第2の経路の少なくとも1つのセグメントが、前記外側面と離間した関係で前記極低温タンク(18)の周囲環境内で延びるように構成され、
前記コントローラが、前記第1及び第2の再循環導管に動作可能に接続し、
前記コントローラが、前記少なくとも1つの第1の流れ制御構成要素と前記少なくとも1つの第2の流れ制御構成要素のいずれかを制御し、前記再循環導管から前記極低温タンクの内部容積内に注入される天然ガスの量又は圧力のうちの少なくとも1つを制御することによって、前記極低温タンクの内部容積内の圧力を調整するよう構成されている、
ている、極低温タンク組立体。 - 前記壁の厚さが断熱部を含み、前記第1の再循環導管の第1の経路が、前記極低温タンクの壁の断熱部のみを通って延びる、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 前記第1の再循環導管が、前記壁の厚さ内で前記内部容積の周りに延びるコイルを含み、前記第1の再循環導管の第1の経路が渦巻き形状を含むようになる、請求項1又は2に記載の組立体。
- 前記第1の再循環導管の第1の経路が、ポンプを含まず、前記極低温タンクの断熱部を通って前記周囲環境に間接的に曝されるように構成される、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の組立体。
- 前記第2の再循環導管の第2の経路に沿って該第2の再循環導管と流体連通して結合された熱交換器を更に備え、前記熱交換器が、前記第2の再循環導管内で前記周囲環境から前記LNG流に熱を伝達するよう構成されている、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の組立体。
- 前記第2の再循環導管の第2の経路に沿って前記第2の再循環導管と流体連通して結合された補助タンクを更に備え、前記補助タンクが、前記LNG流の少なくとも一部を収容するよう構成され、前記補助タンクが、前記周囲環境から内部に収容されたLNGに熱を伝達するよう構成されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の組立体。
- 前記第2の再循環導管の第2の経路に沿って前記第2の再循環導管と流体連通して結合された補助タンクを更に備え、前記補助タンクが、前記LNG流の少なくとも一部を前記補助タンクの内部チャンバ内に収容するよう構成され、前記補助タンクが、前記内部チャンバ内に固体吸着剤を含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の組立体。
- 前記コントローラが、ポンプに動作可能に接続され、前記ポンプを用いて前記LNG流の流量を制御することにより、前記再循環導管内の前記LNG流によって吸収される熱の量を調整するよう構成されている、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の組立体。
- 機体(504)と、前記機体に搭載される請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の極低温タンク組立体(12)とを備えた航空機(500)。
