Description
Claims (11)
- 注入システムであって、

近位端と遠位端とを有する分離器であって、それら近位端と遠位端との間に伸びる複数の平行な管腔を有し、前記カテーテルの中央管腔内で前記カテーテルの遠位端から距離「d」のところに位置付けられて該遠位端に再収集室を形成するとともに、前記分離器の各管腔を前記中央管腔と個別に流体連結し、また各個別の管腔は、その中を通して粒子を順次受け入れるような寸法とされ、各管腔は、前記粒子が互いに凝集しないように効果的に分離するのに十分なだけ小さく、それにより前記粒子は、個別にまたは小グループで前記管腔に入るように前記管腔内に受け入れられる、分離器と、
注入機器であって、浮遊粒子を持つ液状媒体を前記カテーテルの管腔を通して移動させ、前記分離器の個別の管腔を通して分離して整列させた粒子を更に移動させ、分離した粒子を持つ液状媒体を再収集室内で復元する、注入機器と、
を含む注入システム。 - 前記カテーテルは外面を有し、また管状であって軸線を定義し、また前記システムは更に、
前記カテーテルの前記外面上に位置して、前記分離器の近くで前記カテーテルを取り囲む膨張可能なバルーンと、
前記バルーンと流体連結で接続し、前記バルーンを膨張させて前記バルーンと前記カテーテルの外面の周りの血流を選択的に制御する膨張器と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の注入システム。 - 患者の血管系内に粒子を導入するためのシステムであって、
近位端と遠位端の間に伸びる中央管腔を持ち、或る軸線を定義する、細長いカテーテルと、
流体内に浮遊する粒子の源であって、前記カテーテルの近位端と流体連結で接続する源と、
前記粒子源と流体連結する実質的に円筒形の分離器であって、近位端と遠位端とを有し、複数の縦軸方向に整列した平行な管腔を持ち、各管腔は、中を通る粒子を受け入れる寸法とされ、また各管腔は、前記粒子が互いに凝集しないように効果的に分離するのに十分なだけ小さく、それにより前記粒子は、個別にまたは小グループで前記管腔に入るように前記管腔内に受け入れられ、また前記分離器は、前記カテーテル内で前記カテーテルの遠位端から距離「d」のところに位置付けられて前記分離器と前記カテーテルの遠位端の間に再収集室を形成する、分離器と、
前記カテーテルの周りに設けてこれに取り付けられる膨張可能なバルーンであって、前記カテーテルから外向きの半径方向に拡張可能であり、それにより前記カテーテルの周りの、前記軸線に実質的に平行な方向の血流を制御する、バルーンと、
前記源から、前記分離器を通して、患者の血管系に粒子を移動させる注入機器と、
前記バルーンを基本形から二次形に選択的に形成するための膨張器であって、前記バルーンは基本形で収縮し、二次形で膨張する、膨張器と、
を含む粒子を導入するためのシステム。 - 前記カテーテル内の液状媒体の流体速度は、前記分離器を通して加速された後、前記再収集室によって遅くされる、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記再収集室は約1ミリメートル(mm)の長さ「d」を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記粒子は、遺伝子治療、薬品治療およびタンパク質治療に有用な薬物から成るグループから選択される、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記粒子は幹細胞である、請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルは軸線を定義し、前記分離器の近位端は前記軸線に関して角度「α」だけ傾斜し、前記分離器の遠位端は前記軸線に実質的に垂直である、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記分離器内の各管腔の近位端は前記分離器の軸線に実質的に垂直な方向に合わせられ、それにより前記分離器の近位端を階段形にする、請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルーンは、前記分離器の近くで前記カテーテルの周りに位置決めされる、請求項1から9までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記再収集室は実質的に管状であり、且つ前記中央管腔と同じ直径を有している、請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
