Claims (8)
- 複数の熱可塑性複合層を含む積層体を組み立てること;
熱可塑性物質の溶融温度未満の温度まで前記積層体の中の層を加熱することによって前記層を軟らかくし、かつ前記積層体を圧縮することを含む、前記積層体を予備固結することであって、層を圧力の下で平らにし、層の間の空洞を形成する隙間を除去し、実質的に層の全体の領域にわたり、互いの面同士が接触して層が緊密に詰め込まれるように層を部分的に固結するように、前記積層体を予備固結すること;
予備固結された積層体を最終部品の一般的形状を有するように予備成形すること;及び
少なくとも前記熱可塑性物質の前記溶融温度まで前記積層体を加熱することを含む予備成形された前記積層体を固結することを含む、熱可塑性複合部品を作る方法。 - 軟らかくされた層の前記積層体を圧縮することは、前記積層体の容積を低減するために十分な圧力を前記層に加えることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 軟らかくされた層の前記積層体を圧縮することは:
前記積層体を2つの工具の間に配置すること、及び
前記工具を一緒に押しつけることにより実施される、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 軟らかくされた前記層の前記積層体を圧縮することは、連続圧縮成形機中で実施される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記予備成形された積層体を固結することは、前記積層体を圧縮することにより実施され、前記方法は、更に:
前記積層体が固結されている際に、前記積層体を望ましい形状に成形することを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記積層体を前記望ましい形状に成形することは、連続圧縮成形機中で実施される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 積層体を加熱するための加熱器、及び前記積層体を圧縮するための予備固結用工具を含み、層が圧力の下で平らにされ、層の間の空洞を形成する隙間を除去し、実質的に層の全体の領域にわたり、互いの面同士が接触して層が緊密に詰め込まれるように層を部分的に固結するように構成された、内部へ熱可塑性積層体が供給され得る予備固結領域;
積層体が最終部品の一般的形状を有するように予備成形するように構成された、予備固結領域に後続の予備成形領域;及び
予備成形された前記積層体を固結し、部品形状に成形するための固結用工具を含む、予備成形領域に後続の固結領域を備える、熱可塑性複合部品の連続圧縮成形のための装置。 - 連続的、段階的に、前記積層体を、前記予備固結領域、及び前記固結領域を通して移動させるための振動駆動機構を更に含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
