Claims (23)
- 第1の側部と、その反対側の第2の側部とを有する平面的に延在する媒体であって、眼鏡のグラスの位置に取り付けられる少なくとも1つの空間光変調器(2)と、
前記空間光変調器(2)に対して前記第1の側部側の第1の領域に配置され、前記空間光変調器(2)の前記第1の側部の表面を直接照明する少なくとも1つの点光源(3)と、
を備え、
前記空間光変調器(2)の第2の側部の表面には、マトリックス状のマイクロリフレクタ(4)が取り付けられ、
前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、前記空間光変調器(2)に対して前記第1の側部側の第2の領域において、少なくとも1つの視聴領域の方向に前記点光源(3)からの光を向け、前記点光源(3)によって生成された発散照明を収束照明に変換する、眼鏡型画像表示装置(1)。 - 前記空間光変調器(2)は、液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)である、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)は、位相限定空間光変調器(2)である、請求項2に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、半透明である、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、金属薄膜で被覆されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、同一の屈折率を有する2つの層の間に埋め込まれている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)からの光は、小さな射出瞳のディスプレイを形成するために、瞳孔の中心の方向に反射される、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)の発光帯に対応する波長のみを反射するフィルタ(5)を備える、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)と前記空間光変調器(2)とは、偏光フィルムで結合されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)のサイズは、前記SLMのピクセルのサイズ以上であり、
前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)の間隔は、複数の視認可能な回折アーチファクト及びモアレパターンを回避するために非周期的である、
請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。 - 前記点光源(3)は、眼鏡のフレーム(6)に配置されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)は、眼鏡のノーズブリッジ(7)に配置されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)は、レーザダイオード又はVCSELなどの狭帯域光源である、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)は、偏光板に結合されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 左右の目(A)に照明を供給するために、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置を一対備える、画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、視聴者の瞳孔を追跡するようにアクティブ制御される、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)は、電子ディスプレイ及び自然のシーンの明るさを調整するようにアクティブ制御される、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記空間光変調器のピクセルの強度は、配列された複数のプログラマブル・マイクロリフレクタ(4)を用いて制御される、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)は、視聴者のそれぞれの目(A)に対して少なくとも2つ配置されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記点光源(3)は、LED又はレーザダイオードから選択される赤色、緑色、及び青色の一式の光源である、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記目の瞳孔(A)の位置を検出する瞳孔追跡カメラ(8)を備える、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記目の瞳孔に対して光学的に共役な位置にある点光源(3)がオンされる、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
- 前記マイクロリフレクタ(4)には、射出瞳レプリケータ(10)が結合されている、請求項1に記載の画像表示装置(1)。
