Description
The present invention relates to a signal lamp that is disposed on the front side of a light source so as to face a viewing angle limiting plate that limits a viewing angle of light from the light source, and more particularly to a signal lamp that is installed at a road intersection or a railroad track.
Conventionally, regarding signal lamps installed at road intersections, etc., in order to prevent driver and pedestrian signals from being misidentified at intersections with complicated shapes, the viewing angle in the left and right direction is restricted and parting departures are prevented. Therefore, the viewing angle in the vertical direction may be limited so that lighting cannot be seen from a place far away from the signal lamp. In this way, the means for limiting the viewing angle generally includes a plurality of light distribution control blades on a full-tube or half-tube hood surrounding the front cover on the front wall of the lamp housing. The one with a louver was known.
However, the hood provided with the louver has a large number of parts and a large number of assembly steps, resulting in an increase in weight and cost. In addition, it has a structure that projects farther forward than the standard hood, so it is strongly affected by the wind and the amount of snow accumulation during snowfall increases, so special strength measures are required and there is a risk of increasing costs. It was. Further, since the louver is exposed to the outside of the lamp housing, there is a possibility that snow adheres to the gap between the louvers and dust or the like is likely to accumulate, making it difficult to see the signal light.
Furthermore, recently, LED signal lamps using a LED unit in which a large number of LEDs are mounted on a substrate as a light source have become widespread. Such an LED signal lamp has a structure in which the LED unit is housed in the lamp housing and the front side is covered with a transparent front cover. However, since the internal structure of the LED unit and the like is not bulky, What thins the whole body and does not attach the said food | hood is called what is called a flat type (for example, design registration No. 1333651). In the case of such a flat type, the louver could not be provided.
In view of the problem of the louver in the conventional signal lamp as described above, the applicant of the present invention is concerned with the light distribution limiting plate provided in front of each LED at each position facing each LED in the LED signal lamp. There has already been proposed a signal lamp in which holes through which light emitted from an LED passes forward and the inner wall surfaces of these holes are formed in a tapered shape that gradually decreases in diameter toward the front (Patent Document 1). reference).
As another means for limiting the viewing angle, for example, two triangular prisms are alternately combined into a prismatic shape, a light-shielding black mask material is attached to the side surface, and a panel is formed so that the side surfaces of many prism columns are combined. A prism plate arranged in parallel is known (see Patent Document 2). In addition, there is known a composite resin sheet in which a transparent thermoplastic resin and an opaque thermoplastic resin are extruded at the same time, and transparent portions and opaque portions are alternately laminated in layers (see Patent Document 3).
However, in the prior art described in Patent Document 1 described above, the work of providing the individual holes in the light distribution limiting plate in a tapered shape in accordance with the arrangement of a large number of LEDs on the substrate requires a great deal of time and labor. The cost was a factor. In addition, there is a problem that there is no versatility if the arrangement of LEDs is different on different substrates, and a light distribution limiting plate corresponding to each different substrate must be prepared.
Moreover, in the prior art described in Patent Document 2 described above, the configuration of the prism plate is very complicated, and it takes a lot of time and labor to create the prism plate, which causes a high cost and causes the signal lamp to rise. There was a problem. Furthermore, in the prior art described in Patent Document 3, the boundary surface between the transparent portion and the opaque portion inside the resin sheet becomes a reflection surface as it is, and light is reflected by this reflection surface, and light leaks in an obliquely forward direction. There was a problem that the viewing angle of the signal lamp could not be sufficiently limited.
The present invention has been made paying attention to the problems of the prior art as described above, and can be widely applied to various light sources without incurring high costs with a simple configuration. It is an object of the present invention to provide a signal lamp that can reliably limit the viewing angle of light from the light source.

The signal lamp (10) according to [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6] or [7], characterized in that.
Next, the operation based on the above solution will be described.
According to the signal lamp device (10) described in the above [1], the viewing angle of the light from the light source (23) can be changed by arranging the viewing angle limiting plate (30) to face the front side of the light source (23). Restrict. That is, the signal lamp (10) is made visible only within a certain angle range in the left-right direction or the up-down direction.
Here, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) is formed by arranging light blocking portions (32) having a narrow width and extending in the longitudinal direction in a thin plate shape through which light is transmitted and arranged in a plurality of rows. According to such a configuration, the present invention can be applied not only to LEDs but also to various types of light sources (23), and the entire shape of the viewing angle limiting plate (30) is a thin plate, so that the lamp is not bulky. It can be easily housed inside the container housing (11).
At least both sides of the light blocking portions (32) of the viewing angle limiting plate (30) facing each other are subjected to a process for preventing light reflection to the front. Specifically, the treatment here is, for example, processing into a jagged cross section so that the surface does not become flat, adding fine irregularities, and mixing opaque fine particles on both side surfaces of the light blocking portion (32). Can be considered. By preventing light reflection to the front, light does not leak unnecessarily outside the viewing angle limit range, and the viewing angle of light from the light source (23) can be reliably limited.
Further, as a specific configuration of the viewing angle limiting plate (30), it is not always necessary to fill the thin plate-like interior with a transparent material. For example, each light blocking portion (32) is enclosed in a frame surrounding the thin plate-like interior. However, as described in [2] above, it can also be integrally formed with a resin.
That is, it is integrally formed so that the opaque resin forming the respective light blocking portions (32) is laminated at predetermined intervals inside the plate plate (31) formed from the transparent resin forming the thin plate. By using such a resin molded product, handling becomes easy and sufficient strength can be secured, and there is no possibility that foreign matter enters the gaps between the respective light blocking portions (32).
As described in [3] above, if the viewing angle limiting plate (30) is provided inside the lamp housing (11), it is not exposed to the outside. Therefore, it is not affected by wind or snowfall, is not bulky outside the lamp housing (11), can be arranged compactly inside, and can meet the demand for space saving. it can.
Further, as a specific arrangement of the viewing angle limiting plate (30), for example, as described in [4] above, in the lamp housing (11), the substrate (24) of the LED (23) that forms the light source, And a front cover (22) disposed in front of the substrate (24). Thus, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) is sandwiched between the substrate (24) and the front cover (22), and can be easily and reliably held in the lamp housing (11).
As described in [5] above, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) may be configured as a unit assembled integrally with the substrate (24) in a state of being arranged in front of the substrate (24) of the LED (23). good. Thereby, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) can be handled as the same component as the substrate (24) of the LED (23), and various types of front covers (22) can be combined later.
Alternatively, as described in [6] above, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) can be provided integrally with the front cover (22). Thereby, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) can be handled as the same component as the front cover (22), and can be later combined with the substrate (24) of various types of LEDs (23).
Furthermore, as described in [7] above, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) may also be configured to serve as a front cover (22) disposed in front of the substrate (24) of the LED (23). That is, the viewing angle limiting plate (30) itself also serves as the front cover (22). Thereby, the number of parts can be reduced. Moreover, it can implement simply by replacing the conventional front cover in the existing signal lamp with the viewing angle limiting plate (30) of the present invention.
Further, as described in [8] above, the light blocking portion (32) is disposed between the both side surfaces of the viewing angle limiting plate (30) from one end surface on the light incident side toward the other end surface on the light emitting side. It is good also as a shape where thickness increases gradually. As described above, according to the cross-sectional shape, the shape of the portion that transmits light between the respective light blocking portions (32) gradually narrows from the state opened on the light incident side toward the light emitting side, and further. It is possible to prevent extra reflected light from leaking forward.
The signal lamp according to the present invention can be applied to various light sources in a general manner without incurring high costs due to a simple configuration, and reliably limits the viewing angle of light from the light sources. be able to.

As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 1, a
The
Further, although not shown, a connector for connecting an electric wire, a signal line, or the like is provided at an appropriate place such as the back side of the
The viewing
The size of the
Each
As shown in FIG. 4, the opposite side surfaces 32 a and 32 a of each light blocking
The viewing angle of the light from the
The
As the treatment for preventing the light reflection, specifically, for example, fine concavo-convex for reducing the reflection of light at the boundary surface with the transparent resin that is the
When the viewing
According to such a manufacturing method, the grooves and protrusions for attachment to the inside of the
Further, as the irregularities on the surface of the viewing
Furthermore, as another example of each light blocking
As described above, the viewing
When assembling the viewing
Next, the operation of the
As shown in FIG. 1, according to the
In such a viewing
At least both sides of the
In addition, since the viewing
As a specific arrangement of the viewing
In particular, when the viewing
FIG. 6 shows a second embodiment of the present invention.
The
In the present embodiment, the
7 to 9 show a third embodiment of the present invention.
The
Inside such a
The
In the present embodiment, the viewing
That is, the
Further, according to the
Moreover, even when the
As described above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described with reference to the drawings. However, the specific configuration is not limited to these embodiments, and the present invention can be modified or added without departing from the scope of the present invention. Included in the invention. For example, in each of the above-described embodiments, an example in which the
Further, the thickness of the
