Claims (4)
- 複数の第1の光ファイバ群(11,12,13)と,
前記複数の第1の光ファイバ群のそれぞれに対応し,前記第1の光ファイバ群(11,12,13)からの出力光を複数の平行光に変換する複数の光学レンズ部(21,22,23)と,
前記複数の光学レンズ部(21,22,23)から出射された複数の光のモードを,隣接する光の位相差が180度異なるように光の位相を調整するためのモード変調部(30)と,
前記モード変調部(30)を経た複数の光を合波するための合分波部(40)と,
前記合分波部(40)で合波された光が入射する第2のファイバ(50)と,
を有し,
前記モード変調部(30)は,
前記複数の光学レンズ部(21,22,23)の少なくとも1つ以上に対応した1又は複数の反転位相差板(31,32)を有し,
前記1又は複数の反転位相差板(31,32)は,
第1の位相差板部分(35)と第2の位相差板部分(36)とを有し,
第1の位相差板部分(35)の結晶軸方向と第2の位相差板部分(36)の結晶軸方向の成す角が90度である,
モード合分波器。 - 請求項1に記載のモード合分波器であって,
前記第1の光ファイバ群(11,12,13)は,シングルモードファイバであり,
前記第2の光ファイバ(50)は,フューモードファイバである,
モード合分波器。 - 請求項1に記載のモード合分波器であって,
前記1又は複数の反転位相差板(31,32)は,複屈折結晶を有する,
モード合分波器。

前記1又は複数の反転位相差板(31,32)は,要求される出力光のモードに応じて入れ替えできる,
