A third light emitting member that is disposed on an outer surface of a recording medium installation unit on which the recording medium is installed, and emits light when the recording medium is conveyed from the recording medium installation unit;
A fourth light emitting member disposed on an operation member operated when removing the recording medium from the apparatus main body of the recording medium supply device, or disposed in the vicinity of the operation member;
A remaining recording medium detecting means for detecting the presence or absence of the recording medium remaining in the apparatus body;

The fourth light emitting member emits light when the operation member needs to be operated based on the detection result of the remaining recording medium detecting means.
The emission color of the third light emitting member is a wavelength region of 460 nm to 480 nm, the emission color of the fourth light emitting member is a wavelength region of 610 nm to 630 nm,
The recording medium installation part can be pulled out from the apparatus main body,
The third light emitting member includes a light emitting element, and a light guide member that guides light of the incident light emitting element and emits the light from an emission unit.
The light guide member is disposed in the recording medium installation section;
The light emitting element is disposed in the apparatus main body,
A recording medium supply apparatus comprising: a light amount reducing member that covers the light emitting element and reduces light from the light emitting element in conjunction with a pulling operation of the recording medium installing unit .
