Claims (6)

前記外部制御装置は、ユーザインタフェースと、プロセッサと、出力回路と、を有し、 前記ユーザインタフェースは、モード選択制御要素と電気刺激フィールド調整制御要素を含み、前記モード選択制御要素は、電気刺激フィールド変位モードと電気刺激フィールド形状モードとの間の選択を受入れるように構成され、前記電気刺激フィールド調整制御要素は、電気刺激フィールド変位モードが選択されたときには、前記複数の電極に対する電気刺激フィールドの位置を変位させるように構成され、電気刺激フィールド形状モードが選択されたときには、前記複数の電極における電流の分配を調整することによって前記位置の周りの電気刺激フィールドの形状を変更させるように構成され、
前記プロセッサは、前記モード選択制御要素を作動させるときに前記電気刺激フィールド調整制御要素を電気刺激フィールド変位モードと電気刺激フィールド形状モードの間で選択的に位置するように構成され、前記電気刺激フィールド変位モードで作動させるとき、前記電気刺激フィールド調整制御要素により電気刺激フィールドの位置を変位させるように設計された刺激パラメータの第1のセットを発生させるように構成され、前記電気刺激フィールド形状モードで作動させるとき、前記電気刺激フィールド調整制御要素により電気刺激フィールドの位置の周りの電気刺激フィールドの形状を変更させるように設計された刺激パラメータの第2のセットを発生させるように構成され、

刺激パラメータの前記第1のセットは、前記電気刺激フィールドを前記1つ又は2つ以上の神経刺激リードに沿って変位させるように設計され、刺激パラメータの前記第2のセットは、前記電気刺激フィールドを前記1つ又は2つ以上の神経刺激リードに沿って拡張させ又は収縮させるように設計される、請求項1に記載の外部制御装置。 - 前記電極は、1つ又は2つ以上の神経刺激リードの周りに周方向に配置され、
刺激パラメータの前記第1のセットは、前記電気刺激フィールドを前記1つ又は2つ以上の神経刺激リードの周りで変位させるように設計され、
刺激パラメータの前記第2のセットは、前記電気刺激フィールドを前記1つ又は2つ以上の神経刺激リードの周りで拡張させ又は収縮させるように設計される、請求項1に記載の外部制御装置。 - 前記ユーザインタフェースは、表示スクリーンを含み、
前記第1及び第2の制御要素は、前記表示スクリーン上に配置されるアイコンである、請求項1に記載の外部制御装置。 - 前記出力回路は、遠隔測定回路を含む、請求項1に記載の外部制御装置。
- 更に、ハウジングを有し、前記ハウジングは、前記ユーザインタフェース、前記プロセッサ、及び前記出力回路を収容する、請求項1に記載の外部制御装置。
